Love this Mac!! Exactly what I needed for school.

The macbook is slow with i5 processor. I recommend buying macbook with M1 chip. The response time is slow and faced delays in switching the applications if I open several applications at the same time.

Good Product.! Even after using an year and half the lap works perfectly fine and looks brand new.! Never had an issue with hanging or anything.!

Sales rep was friendly, I asked for the office for personal/school use and a one time buy. He sold me the business one and the online auto renewal for subscription. By the time I realized it , I was home (over an hrs away)

This would be a great computer if the battery life met the advertised battery length. Fully charged, the battery loses 40-50% while asleep overnight. While using the computer, the battery lasts about 3-4 hours before needing to be charged.

My barriers: New MAC Pro not able to access because it was asking for a Key Chain code which I don’t know. I think my iPhone was set up with that, it has nothing to do with my MAC PRO. But it requests that for me to totally open my laptop!

It heats up a lot more than a regular laptop, it is HOT to the touch, not just warm!! CANNOT use as an actual laptop

With 16Gb of memory I didn't expect to get spinning wheels when opening additional applications with 10 chrome browser tabs open. I also didn't expect random reboots when watching youtube videos. Apple support told me to open Activity monitor to check my memory usage and close memory intensive programs. Honestly, I've almost never had to do this with my late 2012 Macbook pro with 8Gb of memory. I even reinstalled the OS, but no help. It's really a shame. I had to return it and now I'm not sure what to get. Really disappointed.

The device is good , I also receive my order on time, but so far is been kind of low for the work that I made I do blueprint and also I use photoshop a lot . And sometimes it began slow for the activity the I required from a pc.

There are hundreds and hundreds -very plausibly thousands- of files from previous users. Family photos, smart watch data, all sorts of things. It’s a lot and it’s everywhere. Taking a lot of data. Immediately started having issues with the speakers. Needed a computer bad for a new job and now trying to figure out how I can make do without a computer so I can return it and just buy one from Apple. Called to discuss the assuredly not new MacBook Pro For at least a discount and was assured I would be refunded no more than $10.

Laptop is great, but when I bought it says 6 months of Apple Music free & that’s not true I follow the steps on the email I got & doesn’t give me those 6 months of Apple Music.

Bought this laptop and didn't realize it was not like an iPad. Very little instruction comes with it. I will have to look for in person instruction along with user manuals.

Its good enough, but have a problem when i try to update the applications e.g: Pages, keynotes; it says cannot update because it was purchased or refunded with a different a/c. Need a help over there

At this point I would look for a M1 chipped MacBook or buy this refurbished. Overall a 512 SSD got full way too quick for 1 year of development.

Great apple macbook but overpriced. Would be good to protect it by puchasing the clear covers: top, bottom, keyboard & screen protector on amazon - not the apple brand.

The keyboard screen broke immediately i definitely would not buy again

good laptop for students that don’t require intensive hardware—boot camp is provided for those students that need to run windows programs, which is very helpful

Having several update and install issues. Spoke to apple representative for about an hour fixing things. Fixed some but not all.

I was disappointed when I got this home that it was not the newest model it was from Oct 2020. While I knew it wasn't the M1 chip when it listed this as the newest model I expected something from 2021 not something 7 months old. I am also having issues with it constantly restarting, which I think I will need to take to Apple Store to have resolved and not Best buy Geek Squad. I'm glad I bought the AppleCare because this thing is looking like a lemon!

Horrible experience and method of shipping, no liability accepted by bestbuy for my item purchased. I purchased an item that required a signature which should’ve been the signature of the person it was sent to. Instead it was signed by someone else allegedly without proof and I was told I wouldn’t get a refund or new item shipped. Bestbuy suggested I notify the authorities but that still leaves me without anything after paying a substantial amount for an item. Never again
