The hardware features on this laptop are great: The speakers sound incredible, the screen is vibrant and decently sized, and the backlit keys look great. The touchbar is a nice feature, however, I would not choose the pro over the air solely because of the touchbar; the most convenient uses I’ve found for it are adjusting the volume & screen brightness (which would still be an option on the air), customizing fonts (picking the color, making it bold, etc...), and picking out emojis. The most attractive quality about the pro (which also comes with the air) is the software. The ability to put 2 windows side-by-side is very convenient. The fact that it is connected to iCloud makes it super easy to transfer things between your iPhone and your Mac. I’m sure there are more things that I’ve forgotten to mention, or I just haven’t discovered yet. My reason for choosing the pro was because I will eventually need to run some complicated programs in college, and I need a computer that’s built for that. If you’re in the same boat, I would choose the pro. If you’re not concerned about your computer’s ability to run certain programs, I would definitely go with the air.

I will never use anything other than a Mac computer. They are truly the best. Fits inside my backpack and is not too heavy to carry. My main use for this laptop is for school and with one battery charge I can use it 3-4 days. The touchbar takes a little to get used to but it makes everything easier and convenient. Love my new MacBook Pro!

If you're into Apple this is nice web browsing / light duty laptop. It works well but due to limited storage and RAM isn't suited for larger jobs. Battery life is great and for just sitting in front of the TV and surfing the web/reading email it can't be beat.

If you are an Apple fan, you already know the Macbook Pro line is something special. Opening up the Apple ecosystem even more, pait your iPhone to the Macbook to get push notifications and texts right on the laptop. The processor is an intel i5 and has decent speed RAM on board and a 128GB SSD. The screen is beautiful and really shines in the 13" size. Pros: Battery life speed build / appearance Touchpad ability to sync all apple devices seamlessly Cons: Price for what you get only 2 USB C connections keyboard touchbar

This MacBook is perfect, it is very light, fast, the screen has an incredible resolution. The sound is spectacular, no speakers are needed to listen to music or watch movies. The only thing I recommend is to buy it with a higher capacity memory if you need to download very heavy software.

So far my daughter is really enjoying her computer. It has various features that she really enjoys like a bar that has word predictions and spell check as you write. It also is light and user friendly. Cons: smaller screen than her last Mac. She has had a Mac laptop before and it had a larger screen and a similar size. Not sure why they made this one smaller. Also amount of memory could be larger for the price. Macs are expensive for what they bring but seem to do better with viruses which is our reason for purchasing.

I owned the first gen MacBook Air, I feel a day and night difference in all aspects. The Retina display will show you how sharp the images and videos are almost brought to life by the pictures of your iPhone 11 Pro. This MacBook Pro is light and very versatile, lasts all day with various tasks. It redefines simplicity for a a tech expert of for someone who will first own a laptop. I love it boots up quickly and doesn't bother you with updates left and right before you need to get to your tasks. The keyboard does feel a bit out of place compared to others but you get used to it pretty quickly. I like how it gets automatically unlocked with my Apple Watch as well. The Touch Bar honestly is more of a wow factor although I do catch myself using it to send emojis on my iMessages. Great purchase love everything about it!

I’ve been a long time fan of Apple. I started with a 2010 MacBook Pro and I just upgraded to this for my last year of college. It appealed to me because of my experiences with Apple. It’s very slim and light which is what I need in my backpack. The Touch Bar is a pretty neat but it’s very sensitive. I keep hitting Siri when I’m trying to hit the backspace. Only real complaint is the lack of USB slots. There are two USBC slots. You can get a USBC to USB converter but it just makes it bulky in my opinion.

I had a Dell for a few years, but it started to slow down. I thought it was time for a new one. I use it at home and at school. It is perfect! Lightweight and easy to use. Perfect for office work and entertainment. So far a big thumbs up! It syncs to my iPhone, and that’s a plus!

Love this laptop. It's lightweight and powerful. Worked great when working remotely during covid. Highly recommend. I have seen some reviews where people didn't care for the touch bar but I use it all the time. It's a great feature.

I purchased this Macbook Pro as an upgrade to the 2011 model. I couldn't be happier. The battery life is incredible and it is so light weight. The touchbar is convenient and I find myself using it much more than I thought. Very happy with this purchase.

My kid needed a new laptop to use for high school. It's required that he bring one each day. This one has more than enough performance for him in a small, lightweight case. He knows the Apple OS already, so it's easy for him to use.

I love everything about the apple ecosystem. I already had the watch, iPad, iPhone, and it was only right that I added to the collection. I have never owned a MacBook in the past, so I can't really compare it to anything but my previous laptop from a different brand. since this is my first MacBook, i didn't know really which one to get, but I ultimately wanted the best of the best and went with the pro. I LOVE at the changing Touch Bar. it changes with every apple and I find myself using it quite a lot. this laptop has soo many things it offers that sets It apart from the competition that everyday I find myself more and more intrigued with it. never going to another laptop again!

I love how easy this computer was to use. So simple and lightweight. I carry this around for work and school and even use it at home with my toddler. Love the touch bar and how smooth the keyboard is.

I love my MacBook! I got it for college, and it’s really quick, especially when I have multiple tabs up. I also love the Touch Bar. It’s so awesome! I highly recommend! Very easy to use!
