    Hot mess since I bought it

    The first day I bought my Mac I went home and updated it. Once the update was finished my cursor on my screen completely stopped working. The next day I went to the apple store and it took them 30 minutes to reinstall the update. This was just the beginning of the awful journey with this thing. Fast forward a few months later I updated it yet again and it shut down completely. I was told that if my wifi glitches even slightly it will cause it to crash. So there I go again and end up in the apple store and they once again had to reinstall the update because it wouldn't even turn on. Then after that update my Touch ID stopped working. Now my Mac will shut down all by itself randomly and then turn back on and reports it to Apple (even though it doesn't make any difference). Most definitely NOT worth the money. This thing has been problematic since the beginning and I will never get another one.

    Display hairline crack.

    A hairline crack has developed on the lower left corner of the display which makes the screen useless. Multi-colored line run through the display where the crack appears. Just to make this clear, the crack is under the display screen which has no damage. I had taken in this laptop to apple and they said that it’s NOT covered by the warranty and that I must have dropped the computer or somehow damaged the display. Apple said that the cost to repair this as of 4/22/19 is $475.00 + tax. This computer is hardly used because I have an earlier model which is my main computer. I purchased the 2018 MacBook Pro in late 2018 and have taken measures to protect it from any damage. According to what I see on the web other have had this issue with the crack in the display. Apple if you listening, please stand behind you products and fix this issue.

    I received this for Christmas and I had the opportunity to use it briefly about three times before it stopped working. It’s currently at Apple being fixed. It kept turning itself on and off until it finally turned off and wouldn’t come back on. Apple couldn’t do it over the phone so was referred to an authorized store. Luckily I took it over that day about three hours later. When I got to the store the zippered pouch I put it in was extremely hot. It didn’t turn completely off as thought so the trapped heat was crazy. I have no idea what the problem was. I will update later after I get it back and am able to use it

    Keyboard Issues

    Bought this computer 9/2018 and the keyboard has suddenly started adding extra spaces between words and sometimes even in the middle of words. Apple says a week or more if the keyboard needs replaced. It is insane that a tech giant like Apple cannot make it easier to repair something as simple as a keyboard. Next time I'll trust the reviews that talk about known issues before purchase.

    Bought new at Best Buy had it for 2 days it overheated, took it back and got another one had it for 16 days and the last 3 days it was overheating, so took it back and got talked into the 15" MacBook Pro....had it so far for couple days, doing good so far. I am very happy with the personnel, they are very helpful & works with you to get your problem taken care of.

    I BEEN USING THIS COMPUTER IN THE LAST 7 DAYS IM HAVING ISSUES WITH THE BROWSER AND SOME PROGRAMS THEY FREEZE UP I HAVE TO RESTART DEVICE THE APPLE SUPPORT AT 1800 MY APPLE ITS POOR THEY USUALLY TALK TO YOU NICE . BUT WITH OUT ANY REAL SOLUTION . THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU MAKE A BIG WASTE OF MONEY

    I have purchased multiple macbooks. Never had an issue until this one. My son was doing his school work and 2 days after purchasing, everything went black. Disappointed at what I received for the price I paid.

    This laptop is horrible! First of all it’s too slow! And the battery does not last at all! After all the updates it still not working properly.
