Hard to say anything negative about the MacBook Pro. I would recommend this to everyone. It is a little pricy, but the quality you get is well worth it. its fast, its light, its great on battery, boot up speed fast, opening apps is fast... I can't think of one bad thing.

This MacBook was purchased to replace an aging MacBook Pro. The upgrade to an SSD is really great and I'm very pleased with increased speed of the new computer. MacBook Pros are expensive, of course, but I do appreciate the design of the machines and I really like the OS and the continuity between my iPhone and iPad. I'm not thrilled with the loss of the ports for peripheral devices and the Mag-Safe connector, which always worked perfectly on my old computer. Hubs and adapters appear to correct these issues, but I'm still not completely sold on those. In fact, I've already tried two different adapters, one of which was a total waste, while the other appears to be working, but I'll need some long-range testing to be sure it's a good solution. But the computer itself is great and I'm really enjoying using it. I'm still learning the Touch Bar, but it appears to be more and more useful as I work with it.

My Mac Book Pro is efficient, quick, and has a long lasting battery. I am enjoying the ease of using the touch bar. The quickness of this computer helps me complete my work each time I have used it. I highly recommend this MacBook Pro.

Love this MacBook Pro! It’s well built, super fast and very portable for such a powerful laptop. The Touch Bar is very cool and simply takes some time to realize how versatile and helpful it can actually be.

Very happy with the build quality, battery life, portability and design. I was skeptical to start with for only having only USB-C ports but that actually worked out better with a USB-C monitor and a dock.

I have used a MacBook Pro since 2012 and when my old one began to slow down, I began to look for a newer model. I was about to begin my Master’s degree, which involves a lot of online courses (on top of the normal technological demands of today’s higher education). This MacBook Pro has performed perfectly so far! It’s the perfect size to take on the go, and it has several neat features like the touch bar that make it easier to write papers, etc. I would recommend looking in-store so you can see the different options in person - staff were extremely helpful in answering any question about different MacBook Pro models that I had. This is a great laptop for a student that, in my opinion, is definitely worth the higher price point.

These new Macbook Pros are fast and light. Love that Apple came out with a Space Gray Magic Moue 2 and Bluetooth Keyboard to compliment this great laptop! I recently sold my Surface Book Pro to move away from Windows 10 and back to IOS. Versatile charging through Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) is a great feature, but wish they kept one USB3 port to eliminate having to buy an adaptor (-1 Star)! My Verizon Air Card does not work with this new Macbook, but I am sure it is a software issue that can be fixed. Have not come up with a reason to use the touch bar, but I guess having it for future feature adds will see its value someday? Do like not having a power button. Makes perfect sense...open lid or touch any key = ON! No brainer!!! All in all, if you require processing power and like the intuitiveness and fluidity of IOS, spend the money (wait for the sales to save $350-400). If you like IOS but do not need all the muscle, check out the new Mac Air. Also very nice!

this laptop is great for all I need. I like the size and weight - terrific for travel. It does need an adapter as it has no USP ports but with the adapter it works fine.

Love the size, weight, color...but most of all, I love the responsiveness. Took a day to get used to the Touch Bar, but it is awesome!! A very intuitive computer, for sure!

I LOVE my new MacBook Pro. It is so much faster and the Touch Bar is a cool add-on (not essential, but cool). I just wish I had an SD card slot and a more simple way to plug in an external display. I hate having to purchase 3 dongles or a "master dongle" (as I call it) to run all the displays and give me some USB type A ports back.

Not happy to be replacing a 2 year old MacBook Pro that broke down 4 times. But this one is working well. Much thinner and lighter. Touch Bar feature very convenient.

Excellent display brightness and clarity. Keyboard takes some getting used to, with shallow travel. I did not have any problems with keys sticking as others have reported, however, I do see how easily it can happen. Touche bar is definitely the way to go. One slightly hidden secret about the Touch Bar models is that they have the 8th gen core i5 and i7. The 8th gen i5 has 4 cores versus the 7th gen which has 2. So definitely pay more for the touch bar model. Machine was exceptionally light. Almost too light. I felt like I was going to break it.

Love this MacBook. It is lightweight and perfect size for daily work during the commute. The touch-bar is a great addition to this model.

Best buy employees greet and guide you right as you walk in. This device was on a student deal which was great because the amount I saved I used on apple care. The laptop was thinner than I was expecting and has a very cool touch bar that has a large range of uses that change depending on what you are doing. The large SSD is amazing for nursing school and just everyday use/storage. One thing that saddens me is no USB ports and only the thunderbolt3 ports. Apple strikes again with requiring more purchases. Overall very happy.

Replacing my 2019 MacBook Pro with this one. Much faster, easier to use and the ouchbar is amazing. Very useful and not a gimmick.

My 2016 MacBook died unexpectedly so I decided to purchased this model as a replacement. I previously "donated" my 2013 13" MacBook Pro to my wife and that laptop has performed admirably. So, it seemed like it's replacement would be a good choice. I really like the performance of the laptop with the new 8th gen processor. However, I am not thrilled with the "butterfly" keyboard. It is definitely better than the original version but still not as responsive as the "old" Mac keyboards. I am probably one of the few people who actually appreciate the lack of "traditional" ports. I do not see this as a problem since external port replicators are readily available and relatively inexpensive. The one I purchased plugs directly into the two ports on the left side of the computer. I have yet to get used to the touch bar that replaces the function keys. As far as I am concerned, it is a gimmick with limited value. I'd much rather see a touch screen than this "Mickey Mouse" feature. Had it not been for the keyboard and touch bar I would have rated this a solid 5 stars....despite its cost. However, those deficiencies knocked my rating down to 4 stars.

Speed, lightweight and great resolution vs the Air. The brighter screen makes a difference. Plenty of power to multitask.

I just upgraded from a 2010 imac. My iMac would not update to Mojave so I figured it was time. Since my iMac worked so flawlessly for 8 years, why not stay with Apple. This thing is lightning fast. Yeah I had to buy a dongle for the usb-c but I don’t care. Everything feels faster so I will take that trade off. I do use the Touch Bar more than I thought I would. I love the ssd too. I keep a ton of pictures and music on my computer and everything loads fast.

Such a thin, portable laptop with great performance, especially if you’re interested in the apple ecosystem. Just a tad pricey compared to the windows alternatives.
