Efficient and compact

Coming from a 15 inch pc laptop, it’s more compact and much quicker than that device with a SSD! I also like being able to run MacOS or being able to skip over and run Windows applications just like I used to. This has been a great change to my mobile computing capabilities as it relates to a laooand would recommend! Plus getting it on sale made the cost worth while.., thanks Best Buy

Latest model - perfect replacement for Air

As always, getting past the price is the hardest part of an Apple purchase. Otherwise it works well and hope to have it another 5 years.

Stay away, the M1 Macs are way better

I needed a computer that could better handle photoshop and Lightroom. My previous computer was a MacBook pro, but it was getting old so it was time to upgrade. This intel mac was pretty disappointing. The battery never lasted more than a couple hours, even with light web browsing use. The computer was slow (albeit faster than my previous computer) for the photo editing I wanted to use it for. I recently traded it in for a MacBook Air M1, and my new MacBook Air M1 blows this intel based mac out of the water. My MacBook Air with the M1 chip lasts all day, does the photo processing I want, and is very fast. Before I traded in this intel based MacBook Pro, I did a side by side comparison race with both computers processing a HDR composite of the same images in Lightroom simultaneously. The MacBook Air outran this MacBook Pro, and I could continue to browse the web on the Air while this Pro was laggy and felt like it was going to crash if I touched it while it was processing the HDR image.
