This new MAC for my photography business is very fast and handles multiple large programs simultaneously. The battery life, speed and keyboard are much improved compared to my older MacBook Pro with the M1 chip. I was due for an upgrade and it has helped speed up my workflow process.

Bought this as a replacement for both a Mac mini M1 and a MacBook Pro M1. Both were dedicated to photo processing as is this. This machine is incredibly fast, handles Photoshop and Lightroom along with several plug-ins with ease. It is perfect for my needs and a significant improvement over my M1 machines (which were significant improvements over my Windows machine). Utilized with a calibrated external monitor, external hard-drives and a docking station.

Excellent battery life, sleek form factor, high performance. Was looking for a Unix based laptop to run some GPU enhanced workloads. The 1TB SSD is fast and works well, I’ve expanded with a 2tb SD card for less I/O heavy workloads. Very responsive and snappy for development, AI workloads, CFD, and various virtualization pipelines as I transition them to a permanent environment. Was never a fan of Mac, but very intuitive and can’t be beat for mobile performance in this light of a package.

Bought it for college and I have no complaints—it flies through everything, even Minecraft with shaders, has infinite battery life, and looks very nice. Super useful for productivity, having 10 windows open at a time. Would recommend for anyone who has the money and is maybe studying something like computer science where you need a good computer!

This MacBook Pro 14” is an upgrade from my 2012 MacBook Air. As you can imagine, the processor speed and screen depth of color were both light years ahead of what I had. The weight is a little heavier but not unwieldy. The screen is 1 inch larger than the Air but no change in case size. I’m very happy with the purchase and I hope I’ll get as many years out of this MacBook as I did the MacBook Air. Highly recommend.

Have been an apple customer since 1980. This upgrade is speedy long battery life and migration was seamless.

I purchased to replace my 11-year old MacBook Pro that could no longer be updated. This one is great! The most noticeable thing is the battery, WOW, so far it is lasting 2-3 days which I had not expected. I also upped to 1TB storage with this computer, so hoping that will help. It's very fast, does everything I need and I have zero complaints. I did purchase a screen protector and a case for it to avoid scratches.

The MacBook Pro with the M4 Pro chip is easily the best purchase I have ever made. The performance is absolutely incredible, handling heavy workloads and multitasking without ever slowing down. Having 1TB of storage provides plenty of room for all my large files and projects while maintaining lightning-fast speeds. The display is stunningly bright and crisp, making everything from creative work to streaming look professional. I am also blown away by the battery life, which easily lasts through my longest workdays without needing a charge. If you are looking for the ultimate powerhouse laptop, this is definitely the one to get.

This new laptop works great has decent battery life and plenty of performance. The balance of the performance and battery life is mostly dictated by how you use the device but I've found it to last for me for the majority of the day 6+hours on average. Almost all of my workloads including some medium to heavy gaming on high settings is handled easily by the M4 Pro chip.

Just got the MacBook Pro M4 Pro, and I love it! It’s super fast and smooth, even though I haven’t used all its power yet. Feels like it can handle anything I throw at it—perfect for work, creativity, or just everyday use. Definitely worth it!

Best budget laptop for heavy video editing and photo. Battery life is one of the best ever

Apple devices are just built better. Great performance every time. Buyer beware though, buy the Apple care, period. This was a replacement for a less than a year old 16 Mac Pro, but the screen got broken. Tried so many places to get it fixed, but the parts are too new and no one had one. But that was not a product issue. Got left closed on the couch, blanket got set over it and my wifey gave it an atomic knee drop!
