I recently upgraded to the 14-inch MacBook Pro with the new M4 Pro chip (in stunning Space Black) from my older M1 MacBook Pro via Best Buy’s trade-in program, and the experience has been phenomenal. Design and Aesthetics: The Space Black finish is an absolute showstopper. It gives the laptop a sleek, modern look that sets it apart from the classic silver or space gray models. The 14-inch form factor hits the sweet spot for portability and screen real estate—I can comfortably work on the go without feeling cramped. Performance: Coming from the M1 chip, I can definitely notice the power boost. The M4 Pro handles demanding tasks like video editing and 3D rendering with ease. Apps load almost instantly, and multitasking feels fluid thanks to the 24GB of memory. Running multiple creative applications simultaneously (Photoshop, Final Cut, multiple Chrome tabs) has not slowed this machine down at all. Battery Life: The battery life has pleasantly surprised me. Despite the increased performance, I’m still able to get through a full workday without scrambling for a charger. Apple’s efficiency gains in these newer chips really shine here. Display: The 14-inch Liquid Retina XDR display is spectacular—bright, crisp, and color-accurate. Whether I’m editing photos or streaming my favorite shows, the visuals look vibrant and lifelike. Keyboard and Trackpad: The keyboard remains comfortable and responsive, with decent key travel. The trackpad is large and incredibly precise, making gestures seamless. Trade-In Experience: I was initially hesitant about trading in my M1 MacBook Pro, but Best Buy made the process hassle-free. They evaluated my device quickly, gave me a fair credit, and I put that directly toward this upgrade. Overall Verdict: If you’re on the fence about upgrading from M1 to the latest M4 Pro, this new MacBook Pro is well worth the investment—especially if you can trade in your old machine for credit. The performance boost, stellar display, battery efficiency, and sleek Space Black design all come together to offer one of the best laptop experiences on the market. I’m thoroughly impressed and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a powerful, future-proof MacBook that’s a step up from previous generations.

I had a MacBook Pro M2 and decided to upgrade to the MacBook Pro M4. One it is a lot faster for tasks, Two the screen is sharp for the photo editing that I do. Overall just impressed with the laptop

I love it! Bought it for college next fall so I could learn to use it and it seems to be the best time to buy and it’s actually the perfect laptop. The battery lasts forever and there’s no lag.

I absolutely love my new MacBook Pro! I purchased this Mac because it was time for an upgrade, I previously owned the M1(2020) model and had been eyeing this new M4 for a good minute. I was hesitant to do a trade in because I usually would get low balled on the value ,but BESTBUY made it so easy and painless to do everything all at once and I got a really good trade in value minus $100 because I ended up keeping the old power supply cord, as I could use it to charge up my iPhone quickly. lol ok back to my new purchase….. I’ve been using my new M4 for about 2 months now and I’m so thrilled with its performance and capabilities. It’s so smooth and wonderful on all aspects. Besides the obvious aesthetics of this machine, the insides are just as magnificent. Thank you Apple and thank you Bestbuy. You truly have outdone yourselves.

Great product by Apple, space black looks real nice. macOS is so much better for me than Windows. I upgraded from M1 Pro with 16 GB ram and 512 GB storage. M1 was powerful enough but I upgraded anyway. Display of M4 has more vibrant colors compared to M1. Bought version with 24 GB Ram this time just for future proofing. Hope that I’m going to use it for long time... Great buying experience with Best Buy.
