Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the MacBook Pro 14" laptop's exceptional performance and impressive battery life, frequently citing its ability to handle demanding tasks and provide long-lasting power. Many appreciate the compact size and the high-quality display, while others highlight the ample RAM and powerful GPU as significant advantages for their workflows. However, some users noted that the fans can be noticeable during intensive use and that the price point is high.

Rendering and exporting 4K footage is incredibly fast, and scrubbing through high-resolution timelines in Final Cut Pro is smooth and lag-free. If you’re serious about video editing, this laptop is insanely fast and a joy to use. An absolute beast!

Surprisingly preferred the 13" screen size

I upgraded from an M1 15' MacBook Pro. I was expecting the 13" screen to be too limiting in size, but I have found the 13" screen size to be perfect. The reduced weight and more compact format I have found to be far more advantageous. Especially as I travel a lot. I truly wasn't expecting that. I think the 13" machine is now my go to! Screen contrast and color is amazing.

I upgraded to this from ths 2018 MacBook Pro 15 inch. I could not believe the difference between the old MacBook and the M3 MAX. A 7 minute frame render cane down to 18 seconds. Madness. Get yoir hands on one if youre due for the upgrade.

Great Mac, however this would be my third Mac of this specific line from this specific store. I’m sure there’s manufacturers defect which made me return twice. It’s still really good and I got it for a great deal, so I can’t pass it up. Aside from that it’s a beautiful Mac with as expected processing power, I use mainly for 3D modeling and music making. Handles both like a charm.

Great product, first time owning a Mac and I have no complaints, one tip for all the new Mac owners out there, you unplug the charger by moving it up or down, not pulling like a typical charger.

Good MacBook Only got a few zonks 1. Hinge is loose compared to past Mac’s 2. The software scaling is bad (if you like big texts in other apps not just Apple ones) 3. The Lock Screen can’t be adjusted like an iPhone

I bought a MACBOOK PRO M3 MAX, and I made the mistake of buying it OPEN BOX LIKE NEW EXCELLENT, and I received a computer worth more than $3000 dollars all dirty, the box, the computer and the cable, and it said that it had been inspected by the Bestbuy Geeks, I attach the pictures, It does not matter ir a divice is $100 or less they should do better, and they but how a device worth more than $3000 dollars should be sent like this to the customer. Also, the outer box was large and came without bubbles to protect the macbook box. I know we are in a recession and that is why the stores are empty, they should do their job as best as possible and look for customer service people with service skills. If that is OPEN BOX EXCELLENT for sure no body should open box

It took about 7 days to get the correct product, hence the three stars. At first I got a delivery which contained wrong product in the box. After a few calls a replacement product was scheduled which came on the 8th day from when I placed the first order. I would recommend picking up from store instead of getting delivered.

Received one that's opened and damaged, spent a long time trying to exchange it, and the online service team didn't provide much help. Even after escalating to the supervisor, the response was still: 'You need to wait until a new unit is available.' I sincerely request that any Best Buy manager who sees my situation contacts me to help resolve this issue.

Absolutely exceptional machine. A worthy upgrade from an M1 Pro. Major improvement in graphics, battery life, and just overall use. Use it as a work/gaming machine and it works really well for both. No hiccups no slow downs on anything I can throw at it. Playing WoW and Hearthstone. Hearthstone doesn't even get the laptop warm at max settings. My M1 pro would get warm and even have the fans come on at max settings. WoW I still have to tinker with lower settings to keep the laptop cool and quiet but I've pushed the settings up to max resolution capped 60 fps and even the newest capital city/raids don't cause the fps to dip whereas my desktop with a gtx 1070 has quite a bit of trouble. Deux Ex Mankind Divided runs no issues max settings stable 60 fps. Baldur's Gate 3 runs completely smooth 60 fps at max resolution as well with no dips. No need for FSR (looks grainy on any machine I turn that setting up on). Only thing to be aware of if you're planning to do something a bit competitive gaming wise on higher settings is delayed fan activation at baseline. When I play games at higher settings the machine heats up over about 15-20 minutes. The fans kick on right around that time but the game throttles for about 3-5 minutes until the fan speed ramps up and cools the laptop down. After that the fans slow down to a barely audible hum and the machine can maintain stable/maximal frame rates for hours. This is more likely to happen on power since charging the laptop would of course heat it up as well. When off of power I can easily manage 3-5 hours of Hearthstone and about 2 hours of WoW. Baldur's Gate 3 I can get maybe an hour and 15 minutes. Casual tasks will easily have this thing lasting for a couple of days off the wall. I don't do any major production work so can't comment on that.
