Customers highly value the MacBook Pro 15" for its performance, ease of use, and impressive screen size. Many appreciate the lightweight design and the functionality of the Touch Bar, while some find the limited USB ports and high price to be drawbacks. Positive feedback also highlights the battery life and ample RAM. However, some users have noted heat issues during extended use.

The computer that makes you go “Ahhhhhhh”

I have been using Macs for 32 years, primarily for graphics and programming, as well as downtime entertainment. While they have their ups and downs, in the long run they just keep getting better. I use and manage Mac, Windows and Linux systems. They all work well, but Mac is the only one that makes me go “Ahhhh”.
The MacBook Pro is svelte and easy to use. It is very light compared to previous versions and other laptops. The monitor is incredibly sharp. I use it with a dock at home along with an Apple Cinema Display which gives me decent screen real estate. The only real pain is that it is limited to USB C (Thunderbolt 3) connections. Then again, it was a pain when they dropped the floppy drive and SCSI, but we got over that like we’ll get over this.
I say, go get one for yourself.

Nice and light, works great right out of the box and well designed with balance and power. A worthy investment for business and high usage demands especially engineering, design and power management.

I'm in LOVE with my new MacBook Pro. It is so quick and vibrant in color and crispness. I got the touch bar and I am still learning what shortcuts it allows, all which are fun and very helpful.

I purchased the MacBook Pro in 2016, but my accidentally dropped it at the end of 2018 and it would have cost $1500 to repair. Thank God that I had insurance on it, so rather than getting it fixed, I decided to upgrade to this device. That's one of the best decisions that I've made. I love the enhancements and the Touch Bar. The only downside is that you only have 4 USB ports available and all are USB-C. You'll have to purchase a device to hook up other devices or separate devices that have USB-C capabilities. I have both and I would not change my mind about this laptop. Best laptop that I've ever purchased!!!!

I had the early 2015 which had glued/soldered un-upgradeable RAM... I am so glad Apple is done with that idea. Anyway, it was time to upgrade, and boy is it ever an upgrade. I almost want to invent complex computational tasks to throw at this baby, because I haven't yet reached its limit. I could probably join the LIGO gravitational wave data processing team now, but let's get real- I'll probably just stream videos. The touch bar is weird, but luckily easy to customize. HDMI adapter to my second monitor does look like garbage now (hurts my eyes it's so lo-res, although it's a 4k monitor), so beware that you could have multi-monitor problems if that's your jam.

Fast, fast, fast. Crystal clear display. Powerful. User friendly. Syncs perfectly with all Apple products. It is a beast, but with a hefty price tag. But appears to be worth it.

I got this because my "old" desktop is just that .. old! I can't update it anymore! :( It's slow, etc. So, since I now need more portability, I went with a laptop. This machine is still a learning curve for me though. Some things come really easy, others I need to lookup. Can't figure out a few things though, so I'll probably be taking advantage of the Geek Squad that comes with my service plan. I love the large screen, and it's fast and responsive. Color and sound are great. I'm sure I'll fall in love with it like I did my old laptop many years ago, but for now, I'm back in "laptop school".

First time using the larger 15" screen and can say it awesome! Great screen, fast, and works really well. Very happy with this purchase and with Best Buy's Black Friday price. Only downside is I have noticed that PC's now have alot more features for the price, and really wish that MacBook would add a touchscreen.

You can't beat the new MacBook Pro. I got the best one in the store BB had. It's been great. Works so much faster than my last one especially w/the Adobe programs. It is expensive to get the converters for USB-c to whatever but I got a mix of Apple and other retailer products to save money. That was great. Got some converters from usb to usb-c and they were only about $6. Got the Apple $40 sd card converter and that works great but I wish Apple would've left a USB and SD card port on here since everyone uses those. Great investment and make sure you get Apple Care.

So let me get this straight, this is hands down the greatest laptop I have ever owned. My previous laptop was a mid-2012 MacBook Pro, and I loved that thing! I bought it brand new, and it's stayed with me for just about 6 years. This computer, feels like a night and day difference! Super smooth, crazy fast, and does everything I need it to do. Keep in mind, I am an engineering student, where windows is predominant, but with this thing I am running windows 10 and running all those heavy applications, and this computer handles it with ease. Easy 10/10!

Have had MacBooks since switching over from PC around 2004. Yes, PC has gotten way better since, but Mac's security, intuitive nature and the fact that the computer isn't seemingly hijacked by Microsoft for an update every month, helped. Also, that my 2009 17inch MacBook Pro ran like a perfect Nasa mission for 10 years was an eye-opening plus. That, as multiple friends and family members went through 2-3 PC notebooks each during the same timeframe. That all being said, Apple certainly had its issues too with keyboards specifically on MacBooks, also shady phone battery clocking and other sad issues that always crop up when the greed of Wall Street forces companies to punish consumers in the name of profit and shareholders. Anyway, I digress, this machine has to my view, totally overcome the bumps and bruises of some of the recent MacBooks. The data migration was a snap and the machine runs fabulously. Graphics are super fast, processor is lighting quick and for those that complain about the new USB setup, whatever. A simple adapter doesn't even slow me down. In short, the flatter keyboard took a little getting used to, but I like it now and the machine, after the first month, has met or exceeded my expectations. I'm a film and TV professional that outs a lot of pressure on a notebook and this machine can handle everything I've thrown at it.

This 15” MBP is a fast machine. I’ve been a PC user all of my life and I decided to take the plunge since Best Buy was having an early Black Friday sale. Before my purchase, I was deciding between the MBP 13” i7 16gb 512gb and the 15”. What swayed me to the MBP 15” was the price difference between the 13” (which wasn’t on sale @ $2,499) and 15”. For a little extra more, I thought it was worth spending it on the extra CPU cores and USB-C ports. Now I have to learn all of the nuisances of MAC OS. I also own an iPhone, iPad & Apple Watch so I’m fully vested in the Apple ecosystem. I’m confident it will be a great user experience.

Great computer, though bit sad my wife appropriated it soon after I bought it, ha ha serves me right for not using the computer as much as she does! :) It works well for home music studio work, graphics design, and day to day web related stuff and multitasking. Smooth and quiet keys. Bit slippery if no case, be careful not to drop it, especially for this pricey computer, invest on a good case/cover.

I've been a PC guy my whole life until 2013 when I got my first MacBook Pro, and while this new model feels like an incremental upgrade, that's not a bad thing. It's thinner, lighter, faster - pretty much what I was hoping for. Yes, I'm now living in the dongle world but it's a small price to pay to be able to connect my entire workstation (2x 4k monitors, multiple flash drives and external hard drives, printer, ethernet, etc.) thanks to a dock that can be mounted under a desk.
