Customers admire the MacBook Pro 15" for its exceptional performance, ease of use, and stunning screen. The Touch Bar and generous RAM and storage are also frequently praised. While some users mention needing adapters due to the limited port selection, and others note that battery life could be improved, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive.

Super fast charging compared to my other MB Pro's it seems. Aside from that I purchased it for video editing and it shines with that. Can not only import from my GoPro way faster most likely due to the USB C ports but, also renders the edits much much faster than my Mid 2015 MC Pro that is higher rated processor. Just wish I could get a larger screen like my first MBP with a 17" monitor. Also the new TouchPad is much much larger and has a better feedback feel to it. PS the Touch Bar is more useful than I ever thought it could be!

The 15.4 inch screen on my MacBook Pro is fantastic for a 68 year old senior like me. As a full time educator working with special needs adults, I am thrilled with how light it is, the processing speed and that it is durable. It is very easy to use and I can run multiple applications without my MacBook slowing down and lasts hours for web surfing for academic resources. At the end of my working day, I love to relax and watch Netflix on my new MacBook!

This MacBook model has a stunning 15 inch display, great for movies and all, also, having that 32gb memory and i9 processor provides excellent performance and speed. The Touch Bar is to die for and is convenient at times needed.

I purchased this thinking it would meet my needs and for power it excelled--easily. So, I give it 3 stars just because its got the regular conveniences of being a mac and because it has fantastic power, memory, and drive space, but I very quickly found a couple deal breakers. The keyboard and mouse both make rather loud clicking noises whenever you press a key or click the mouse. I have a 13" 2015 macbook pro and it does neither of those. The clicking noise is enough not only to annoy you, but everyone around you, and you cannot turn it off. It's completely unacceptable. Also, the touch bar was the final straw for me. If you work in dim light, it causes eye strain since you can't turn down the light from it. You can't turn it off until you need it, so it's also draining the battery. You also can't just press a couple keys and turn your screen down or just touch a key once to do various other things like I can now (like adjust the volume) you have to go through a menu on the touch bar. It's hugely annoying, and, yes, you can accidentally touch something and not be sure which you touched. For a computer that is this expensive, both of these is completely unacceptable to me. I'll go with a far less expensive computer, if it means daily use isn't so annoying, since you can get this much power in a less expensive machine elsewhere. Not having a regular headphone jack was an issue too. I shouldn't have to buy new ones when most headphones still use the old jack. It just had four C jacks, which at least is better than only one, since you can charge it and do something else at the same time, but there's no flexibility here for your items with other connectors and so if I take my computer somewhere I have to bring adapters with me too. A computer is a tool and the tool itself should not be frustrating and annoying to use when you are spending this much money. I've been using mac for 10 years now and unfortunately, it seems I'm done. I'd already decided to switch to Linux for privacy and the ability customize more and thought perhaps I'd run that on this because I loved the hardware, but with the new changes it looks like I'll have to return to PC or buy something specifically made for Linux. I was willing to pay this much money for a good machine, but this just isn't worth it. I can get this much power for far less, so I'll be purchasing something far less expensive, quieter, and less annoying for daily use. I returned this after only 5 days, though I think I had over a month to return it because they gave us extra time with the pandemic. I just didn't want to use it. I used to love mac, but with the direction they are going, I can't continue. I was considering leaving their phones too because I don't want something that big nor need all the fancy additions nor the cost, but with the new SE coming out, I might consider it, but even with that, the lack of a headphone jack might be the deal breaker. Steve Jobs was into streamlining, not making things frustrating and annoying. This one's, rather sadly, a pass for me.

The las MacBook Pro I had lasted over eight years before the hard drive started to act up. The only things I miss are not having all of the plugs and slots it the sides. I hade some trouble with the energy saver. It would flash white on the screen when playing Netflix. It stopped after I had turned it off.

Loved my old MacBook Pro but my technology needs outgrew it. I love the improvements of my new MacBook Pro! So far, I haven't encountered anything that made it difficult to adapt to the new laptop. I was upset that a few software programs I use (or wanted to use) aren't compatible with the new Mac, but the developers tell me that will change soon. iMovie crashes quite a bit for me, will have to figure out what the deal is with that, never happened on the old one..

Mac user for decades. Replaced base model 2015 Macbook pro that was struggling with advanced photo and video editing. The extra RAM, i9 CPU and designated GPU hit the mark. Touch bar and fingerprint log in is a nice feature. Only down side is having to use adaptors for USB devices and SD card reader, but that's not a big deal.

I gave up on my last Windows based machine in 2011. Highly frustrated. I made the leap to my first MacBook Pro and I have never looked back. This new MacBook Pro has a great number of improvements. I like the Touch Bar and the greatly increased speed. My relationship with the new keyboard design is still being worked out, but it is ok. I certainly will remain loyal to Apple and Mac for years to come.

This machine is completely awesome, it has the ability to run multiple programs and does not slow down. The startup process takes only about 3-4 min. The tiuchbar options are completely customizable and the operating system is easy to operate, even easier than windows. Never will I buy another Microsoft computer again.

I had my previous MacBookPro 15" for 7 years and it worked like a champ. The graphics card went up and I had a choice of getting the graphic card replace for approx $700-800 or buying a new Mac. Decided to buy a new Mac and was not disappointed.
Lots of changes but I caught on quickly. Love my Mac !!

Upgraded to this laptop from a MacBook we got in 2012. After having the MacBook that long with no real issues, we knew that we would need to stick with Apple.
Nice upgrade for storage and memory!
It is pricey, but I purchased on an AMAZING sale that I couldn't pass up.

Love the new computer! It's Lightweight which is great for packing it around. It has a thin profile and a large screen. The keyboard is big enough for my husbands fingers, which is a big bonus. So far it's done everything we've wanted it to.
