Upgrading from a M2 MacBook with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD. Pros: Fast, fast, fast. I can throw 4K video, music editing, and Steam games at this thing and it doesn't hiccup. Cons: Bluetooth connectivity is weird. Audio stutters and filters randomly, so I shy away from using bluetooth headphones. Overall: Amazing value, and I won't need to upgrade for years.

This was a CERT REFURB M1 Max with 1TB drive / 32GB RAM. I paid $1400. It came in literally LIKE NEW condition. BestBuy North Canton let me take a look at it before I actually bought it. They were super helpful as usual. This laptop was like $3600 new and actually out-performs the new M5 MacBooks in my opinion. On a side note, there's such a big difference between the 16" and 14" version of the MacBook Pro. If you do photo editing like I do, by all means go with the 16" version. I put a nice case on it I bought on BestBuy's website (3rd party seller) and an Insignia stand for it (see photos). Great investment! Keeper...

Lost Star: BestBuy lack of disclosure, good laptop

Solid laptop speaks for itself. This one had very minor nics on bottom. Lost a star due to Best Buy's lack of disclosure that the charging cord is a USB-C rather than compatible mag-safe. BUYER BEWARE: you might receive either cord if not disclosed. Which means possibly spending more $$ to buy a separate mag-safe cord just to use all 3 USB-C ports while charging. I find this unnecessarily wasteful and expensive on Best Buy's part.

Its absurd. Especially considering its age, aka its release year.
