    Never have I ever!

I have never owned a better laptop computer. With updates for MacOS Sequoia coming soon with Apple Intelligence and things like iPhone mirroring, features that have been great in beta, I think the future is bright for this device. Newer models will always be announced, but I pulled the trigger on this when Best Buy included an additional discount on it before the "Glowtime" Apple event. The computer is an absolute powerhouse for what I do, image and video editing, creating Pages documents and PDFs. I love the system that has been created between Windows and the Mac application Parallels--allowing you to use either operating system like "Boot Camp" of old. Also, I enjoy being able to run NVIDIA GeForce Now on the computer and play all my Steam/Epic/Ubisoft/Microsoft games with high fidelity using the streaming service. One thing I think everyone will immediately notice is the extra long battery life. I have gotten a solid 16 hours of usage and watched full length hi-res videos for two hours without using 4% of the battery. I find that to be absolutely insane that this system can run so efficiently. Do yourself a favor, if you have the money and are ready to buy, do not wait for another year to go by thinking, well there's going to be a "Mx" coming soon. Enjoy the time you can have now with the device, it's going to last you 5-10 years of usage.

I am not a mac person but this laptop blew my expectations away. Runs so cool. Battery life is like forever. I have ran it for almost 2 days straight. It handle anything i throw at it. Never once has it slowed or frozen. I highly recommended. The price tag is steep but i plan on keeping it for a few years so it's worth it. I got it in black and it's good w fingerprints. It feels so premium.

Incredible machine. I traded a 2021 M1 Max 16” for this one. It was the top standard spec like this one and I mainly use my MacBook Pro for photo editing, a little “light” gaming, and everyday stuff. I have done some programming also in the past and will be soon also. Overall, I’ve noticed a considerable improvement on this machine over my M1. It’s not revolutionary, but it was enough to justify the really awesome sale Best Buy has been running. This will easily last me 5 years or more. It’s pricy but wait on the sales and it’s a great buy.

My First Day with the MacBook Pro 16" M3 Max Chip

Title: A Game-Changer for a Lifelong Windows User: My First Day with the MacBook Pro 16" M3 Max Chip As someone who has staunchly used Windows my entire life, making the leap to a MacBook Pro 16" with the M3 Max chip was a decision that took me out of my comfort zone. At 42, having grown up with the evolving iterations of Windows, I've experienced firsthand the frustration that comes with constant updates and changes. This all changed yesterday when I purchased my first MacBook for both personal and business use, and the experience has been nothing short of revolutionary. In just 24 hours with my MacBook, I've seen a dramatic increase in productivity, accomplishing more in a day than I have in the past month and a half. The first thing that struck me was the display quality. Having seen numerous comparisons over the years, I can confidently say that the MacBook's visuals surpass even my high-end television. The clarity, crispness, and vibrancy of colors and images are simply unparalleled. The performance of the MacBook Pro is astounding. My previous laptop, a Microsoft Studio 2 with 16GB of RAM and over 500GB of storage, was a marvel in terms of build and design but fell short when it came to handling my workload. Despite my years of familiarity with Windows, it often left me struggling to keep up. In contrast, transitioning to macOS was a breeze. Within an hour, I was navigating the system with ease, a testament to the MacBook's intuitive design. For my job, speed and multitasking are of the essence. I'm constantly online, loading documents, videos, and images, with countless tabs and applications open simultaneously. The MacBook Pro handles this with ease, responding instantaneously to every command. The touchpad shortcuts are a revelation, allowing me to work at a pace I didn't think possible. It feels like this machine was built to conquer giants. I'm genuinely impressed by how seamlessly the MacBook Pro has integrated into my workflow. Its efficiency, coupled with the stunning display and robust performance, has made me a believer in Apple's ecosystem. The prospect of not needing another computer for at least eight years speaks volumes about the quality and durability of this product. A special thanks to Best Buy, and particularly to Daz, the manager at the Pensacola, Florida, store. His knowledge and patience made this transition smooth for a Gen X'er like me. My only regret is not making the switch to a MacBook sooner. Apple has truly set a new standard for what I expect from a computer, and I'm excited to see how this journey unfolds.

I've had my new MacBook Pro for about three months now, and I'm loving it. I was able to purchase it during a promotion period, and I also saved a lot by buying a Best Buy Plus membership, which made the purchase even more rewarding. I use some heavy programs, including video editing, AutoCAD, and more, and this MacBook doesn't slow down at all. I hope it lasts a long time!

If you’ve been looking to upgrade and you have the money to splurge I would absolutely do so! I upgraded from a MacBook Air 2018 16gb (I know - how did I edit? Spoiler * I really couldn’t lol) But anyways this was so worth the price! I love the battery life, the screen is such a good size for editing photos for hours on end. The one thing I don’t love is the keyboard, kinda feels cheap but if you can get past that like I did then it’s absolutely worth it!

It’s expensive, but it’s extremely good for the work I do. I had a M2 pro and I wanted to upgrade to use 3+ monitors for software development. Goes through ML processes like a piece of cake. The display is a Mac display, it’s amazing, color accurate out of the box, but it’s the same display you’re gonna get in any of the MacBook Pro lineup basically (maybe other then the refresh rate?) Would buy if you need it for the specs or want 3+ monitors without getting a external dock with extra software. Does everything, but gaming.

Amazing MacBook Pro. I started working with Mac since 15 years ago and this Mac is out of the world, working with battery is excellent an it recharges so fast. I’m a Game Developer and for this purpose the computer works just as I expected. You can connect 4 Monitors and it works perfectly. You should have one of this. Thanks.

Made the move from a 2019 Intel i9, 16GB RAM to this one. Purchasing it online and trading it in store was super easy. I use DaVinci Resolve a lot of the time for work and now it's a breeze and loads super fast. I'm able to see project rendering in real time unlike the old one. This MacBook allows me to be more efficient in my work. As for the battery life, I'm able to work all day on a single charge. The M3 Max chip sips the power without sacrificing performance.

As has been the case for a while now, new Apple products are excellent quality and a breeze to setup if you're already in the Apple ecosystem. I upgraded to this system from my M2 Macbook Pro 14" and I am not disappointed. Bigger... faster... longer battery... all exactly as expected.

    A Night and Day Difference

I’ve been using Windows based laptops almost exclusively for over a decade now, so switching to the MacBook Pro 16-inch with the M3 Max chip was a huge shift for me. Honestly, the difference is night and day. I tried not to like it but the moment I powered it on and began interacting with it — everything from booting up to opening apps and documents felt smoother. I wasn't prompted to download, install, and restart the computer several times over and the UI felt crazy intuitive and settled my fears over any difficulties in switching from Windows. The M3 Max chip is a beast. I’ve used it for some pretty intensive tasks, and the performance is unreal. Whether I'm using for data analytics, running virtual machines, experimenting in docker, it just breezes through everything. No lag, no crashes, and unlike my previous laptop experiences, I didn't feel as if I had to compromise in any areas. Battery life is amazing to me, but regular Apple users could probably provide more insight as to how it compares to other MacBook variants. The only cons I can think of with this product? Hmmm...lets see. I purchased this via Open-Box on a sale and was very disappointed with the unboxing experience as I'd recently sold my old laptop and spent due time cleaning it and making it look as good as possible. I wanted the buyer to share the same unboxing experience I had when it was new. The MacBook came in with some damage to the box and the packaging could have been better. I got it in the Space Black color and this item looked like everyone in the shipping warehouse had put their greasy hands all over the laptop. Besides that, although I'd previously mentioned not having to compromise, Apples pricing is insane and seems very intentional.

Here's the thing. I needed a laptop so I sold my M1 Studio Max with 2TB. Backed everything up using Time Machine and bought this laptop... This laptop is everything they say it is but... 1) 48GB will not be sufficient for streamers. Your machine will cache onto the SSD. You won't realize it as the SSD is so fast but I personally don't want anything caching to my SSD so more ram is needed for me personally. 2) 1TB SSD. My thought is I would just use my 4TB external working drive for my video projects and 1 TB would be sufficient for programs/Apps. I did not even bother to look at how much space I had left on my studio as it contained nothing but apps. WRONG, I nearly maxed out this new machine with only 24GB to spare when I did my Time Machine port... I need at lease 2TB Long story short, make sure you know what you need as I will have to return this Mac and likely buy from Apple or B&H as Best Buy doe not offer better storage options. Not a Best Buy issue, more of an Apple issue as they don't make any base models with greater than 1TB. Other than my personal issues noted this is the best laptop available. Just incredibly irritating that Apple want to gouge the consumer of their products with such exhorbanent pricing on their custom order models.

This is by far the best laptop I have ever owned! The speed of the M3 chip is amazing. I went with the most "storage" (1TB SSD) I could get and it's one of the best decisions I made on the order. You will not be disappointed!!
