We purchased this 13" MacBook Pro for our daughter as a Christmas gift. As a die-hard Windows guy (not including Windows 8), I was skeptical about buying a Mac, no touch screen, no disk drive, no memory, VERY expensive. But I have to admit that the quality appears to be first class and configuring it to work with our home Wi-Fi network and multiple printers was incredibly simple. The reason I gave it four stars is that I feel for that much money, it really should at least have some of the features mentioned above. FYI - If you are a college student, make sure to ask about the $50. discount code that can emailed to you and used at the time of purchase.

Love my laptop, I purchased this for school I had a MacBook Pro 15' for 5 years and was ready for a smaller Laptop that I could transport to school with ease when needed. I love the retina display, thought I was going to miss the size of my old laptop but I didn't. BestBuy price match with apple, which is a plus. Overall, love this laptop.

This is my first Mac laptop. After having a few different Windows laptops for years and having countless issues, I was ready to make the switch. I currently have an iPhone and iPad so the fact that my Apple products would be synced together was an extra bonus. I searched online for what was best - and in addition, visited in store. Every employee said this one was the no brainer. I am so pleased with everything so far. I've had the laptop for about a month now. The battery life is excellent, and I currently have zero complaints. The two main functions I use the computer for are slideshow making (requiring utilization of music, photos, and iMovie) and also various internet and Microsoft applications to work on current graduate study classes.

I purchased 2 macbooks for my daughters. They love them. Apple makes the seamless. The information, music, pictures and software from their previous generation macs was easy to transfer and both were up and operating with their new computers in a matter of hours. Great service at the Bestbuy store and the best prices for the product.

The flash memory and 10 hour battery life is great! I highly recommend this product to anyone that is looking for a fast computer that has long battery life and great screen resolution.

Apple what can i say great computer lightweight and fast !

Upgraded from a 2011 Macbook Pro. The laptop is perfect for browsing, watching tv shows/ movies, and playing computer games. The retina display is Amazing and has excellent color. A little disappointed the laptop didn't come with an optical drive, especially for the price, but either way it's a great laptop and would definitely buy again.

Great speed, functionality, and perfect size for college.

As a photographer, I needed to replace an outdated Dell laptop with something up to date so that I could utilize the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of products. While going from a PC to Mac was a slight learning curve, I absolutely LOVE this laptop. It does what I need and the Retina display made the choice because of the sharp and true colors!

This MacBook Pro replaced a Windows 8 laptop. It is used by my wife. She became very frustrated with Win 8 and after using my iMac and owning an iPad, she decided she wanted an Apple laptop. We got a great deal on this computer at Best Buy. She has been very happy with the screen and ease of use. Would recommend this laptop for any user.
