Retina display is sharp as a whip. Battery life is amazing. SSD is amazingly fast. Worth every penny.

This laptop is great. I enjoy the smplistic software and the portability of this laptop. I chose to get this laptop due to the availability of the traditional usb ports instead of getting the new macbook pro. I was told that the new one is faster and brighter than this particular model, but eventually i decided to go with this because i was not ready to give up the easily accessible usb ports. I like the USB C port as i have a phone that uses the same port, but i dont think that i am quite ready to carry around a set of dongles for connectivity with external HDD, HDMI, and old usb ports. Overall this laptop is smooth, fast, easy to use and great to travel with. The battery life on this device is outstanding. The keyboard is great to type on. The storage size is okay, but i would expect laptops to have more storage that this considering that you can get a 500GB SSD for $100 nowadays. The transition from windows to mac was not that difficult for me, but there are some things that i can't do on this that i could have done on a PC, but there is always a workaround for everything. Besides the storage issue, I do not have any complaints with this laptop. I highly recommend this product.

Great battery life and not heavy at all. It has met all my needs so far. It's the perfect screen size, not too big and not too small.

My brother has last years version of this MacBook and has had no problems with it, so I decided to go for it. I absolutely love it, a little difficult to navigate if you're going from PC to Mac but pretty easy once you know it and make the laptop yours. Light enough to carry around and perfect size. So great for school and other uses. So impressed.

The screen is clear and has a great picture. The computer is lightweight and it is slim. It gives me enough space to upload a ton of files and it runs at a quick speed. It's the perfect computer for online schooling, which is what I use it for. I would recommend this computer to college students.

I spilled a beer on my four year old Mac Air which I loved. I upgraded to the new Mac Pro. I love the retina screen, solid construction, and speedy performance. It was a must for me to get the 256gb drive to have adequate storage. You won't be disappointed with this computer for daily use and productivity. I've heard it's not a gamers computer but I don't play video games so I wouldn't know.

The Mac Book Pro is fast, light and so easy to use. It's my first Mac laptop and I'll never go back to any other brand.

Since there are 4 different models of Macintosh laptops out there, you really have to research them all to decide which one suits your needs best versus the price points. There are pros and cons to each one. I am pretty committed to the Mac OS and needed a new laptop. Want it to last a while so this MacBook Pro with 256GB Flash and 8GB Memory was my choice. Best Buy had the best deal on the price when it went on sale. So far am very pleased with the performance of this Macbook.

I was the happy owner of a 17" macbookpro from 2009. While its performance was OK, I was trying to improve portability. That made me decide for the 13.3 inch retina display macbook pro. So far is working great for me. I have found the speed of ssd drive really improved compared to my old mac. The battery life is another big change I notice. But what has thrilled me the most so far is the force touch trackpad. It is amazing how it performs. Very satisfied with the product, overall.

When my Windows laptop recently died after only 4 years, I decided to take my husband's advice, and make the jump from a Windows to a Mac Laptop. I wasn't sure how much I'd like new trackpad and the Mac OS, but with a little practice I've had no problems. The retina screen is bright and colorful and more than makes up for the fact that it's only a 13". The processor is much faster than on my Windows laptop, although they use the same speed processor. The 256 GB storage is great and more than holds all of my pictures and music from my iPhone and my external hard drive. The keys on the MacBook Pro are far superior to the keys on the MacBook, which are flat and aren't as conducive to touch typing. It's also much lighter than I expected it to be. It feels very light when I'm carrying it around, and is very slim even in a light protective case I purchased. Buying from Best Buy was a great experience, too. I purchased my laptop online, and picked it up from my local Best Buy within 3 hours. Overall, this is a great laptop, and I had a great purchasing experience with Best Buy.

I purchased the 128gb MacBook Pro then realized that wouldn't be enough and went back and got the 256gb with is fitting the bill if you can afford it get the 512gb you won't be sorry. Great start up and storage speeds writing and reading. The display sells its sell I am getting the hang of my gopro hero 4 and together I will make great memories. Worth it if your in the market for a new MacBook Pro the force feed back is still new so I am not a heavy user but I see a future with it.

This is a great computer, and this being my first Apple product, I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of setup and the fantastic Retina display. Amazing clarity and this computer just hums along, doesn't overheat or even slow down no matter how long it's in use. I'd recommend investing in a larger SSD and more RAM, and I'll bet this machine will stay current for a long time.

This laptop is fast, affordable, compact with a gorgeous display. I run Adobe Creative Suite on this with no issues.

I haven't used it as much as my SO(whom this was for) but it does the job. Long battery life, crisp display and that force touch is truly mind boggling. It's not really a click, it's only a sound to mimic a click. Smooth and quick operation with that SSD and 8 GB of ram.

I plan to buy the older Model: MGX82LL/A but they don't have it in stock. I paid $75 more for this latest model and it worhs the money. It is fast and meet all my needs. It has the latest Intel i5 processor and good battery life. I like the screen resolution. It is much better than the model that I have 3 years ago.

It was time for me to upgrade my 2011 MacBook Pro, was trying to decide between this (MacBook Pro with Retina display) or the MacBook Air. Had the Air for work and liked the slim design. But once I saw the power, storage and capacity of this MacBook Pro - I knew what I needed. Light weight and slim, perfect for transportation. Perfect when I take it to class and work. Received a great price - one that rivaled with apples prices. Very happy with my new computer!
