I've had the 13" MacBook Air for three years and loved until I spilled a drink on the keyboard. I decided to replace it but after seeing the Retina Display of the MacBook, I quickly changed my mind. This Macbook is one of the best computers I've owned. Lightning fast and east on the eyes. Not bad that I got a student discount on it.

I traded my 15" macbook Pro for this model. Since I carry my laptop to and from work daily, I needed something with a little less weight. I considered the new 12" macbook, but the older processor, lack of ports, and inferior FaceTime camera (i use FaceTime a LOT) made me think twice. The 13" Pro is everything my 15" was, but at less than half the weight, and with a smaller footprint. I thought I'd miss the extra screen real estate, but to be honest, I don't notice it one bit. The only drawback is it's challenging having only 256gb of storage to work with. I made it work though, and I'm totally happy with this purchase. Would definitely recommend.

As a long time Windows user, switching to a Mac took some adjustment, I have only had this for about a month but have been satisfied with it, it's portable, lightweight and allows me to easily sync my other Apple products. I have found the speed of the processor great, I have had no issues with the performance of this MacBook Pro.

If you are in the market for an Apple laptop, this is a great choice. It's got the power of the Pro models, but in a form factor that is thin and light weight without feeling as fragile as the Air or the new Macbook. This thing screams, has ample storage for most needs, and features the gorgeous retina screen and new snazzy trackpad.

Pros: Like the size of of the laptop. Compact and lightweight. Battery life is awesome compared to my PC... lasts for days rather than hours. Tutorial was very helpful since this was my first Mac. Cons: Don't always like that the keyboard surface is ice cold when I turn it on, but does not effect the use of the product.

New to Mac but in a short period of time I'be gotten real comfortable with the new OS. Love the elegance of the Mac ecology, all-day battery power, and what's not to like about the retina display. Touch screen laptops and tablet-mode displays are a gimmick: if you need a laptop to do serious work, getting fingerprints and grease all over your screen is not what you want. Learn the programs and keyboard shortcuts and you'll end up navigating way faster than with a stylus or finger pointing. BTW - the new touchpad is really cool! It "feels" just like you're clicking, but the solid, immobile surface is yet another addition to the quality feel to the MacBook. I bought my MacBook via open box special; so on top of the $75 discount that BestBuy is offering, there was a $150 markdown. Essentially a new device with the 1 year warranty. Not many out there but you may get lucky.

No better value than this combination of design, display, battery life, memory and operating system. This replaced a 2008 macbook that still functioned reasonably well. A pleasure to use when I get home from work using a windows PC all day.

The Mac Book Pro continues to get better and better with each new release. Most noticeable is the speed and battery life. The Retina display is incredible and easily my favorite feature. It feels that everything has been well thought through from the design of the box to the placement of internal hardware.

I was looking for a computer that could handle editing video while still being portable, this did the job and more! Only down side is the storage. I wish it had more, but with an external hard drive to save those big files you will be ok. This really is the best computer a college student could ask for.

Hands down, the most elegant, stylish, and easy to use computer I own. Apple has always been known for seamlessly combining style and technology; this MacBook Pro is a perfect example of that union. Crystal clear graphics, super-fast processing, and incredibly easy to use. 10 out of 10.

Had to buy this for my high school student. The battery life is great, and he loves the high res screen and the fast performance from the SSD hard drive. (Our family's previous laptop used an older, non SSD hard drive.

This is a great improvement over my 2011 Macbook Pro. Love the retina display, and it's faster than I could have imagined. Nicely lightweight, which is good for me because I have to balance power and portability. Extremely glad I decided on this rather than a new 12" MacBook.

I absolutely love this laptop! It's the perfect size and has tons of power! I also have a PC and was a bit nervous about the learning curve to a mac but it was no problem at all - Very easy to use...not to mention The display is beautiful! I am SUPER happy with this purchase!

This is an awesome device. After a long research, I bought this device and this has not let me down. It has great looks, is fast as well as very portable. Its has almost 9 hours battery life too and its graphics is simply awesome. I would recommend this device to everyone.

I have bought 4 of these, one for each person in my family. We all have iPhones and iPads. The way everything works together had made our life's more productive and better.

I really debated whether I should get the new MacBook. While it's a beautiful machine, I didn't think I would be OK with the 12" screen in the long run, nor would I be satisfied with an under-powered CPU for processor-intensive tasks. The BestBuy guys in the Apple section helped me to see that the MacBook Pro would be a more versatile laptop for the next several years. It's definitely heavier than the MacBook, but tolerable. Again more flexibility. The bigger screen, plus the conventional keyboard are big pluses too. Overall, a really good utilitarian laptop for getting work done, and play a game once in a while, and watch my Netflix/Amazon Prime. BTW - the SSD and Mac OS help boot the system in seconds, not minutes. Highly recommend!

This Apple product is amazing. It's super fast processing system will blow your mind. Display screen amazing. Battery life is excellent. The best part of product don't ever need anti virus. Price was little high but hey it's an Apple you pay for excellence and best

This laptop is my second MacBook and I can tell you this thing is a BEAST! Runs super smooth! New trackpad is just AMAZING! Weighs almost nothing and is simply beautiful! A must buy for any Apple MacBook lover!

It's always nice to have a shiny new computer. This Macbook with retina display is lighter and faster than my older "unibody" Macbook. It would be nice to have more storage on the internal drive, but I have plenty of USB flash drives if I need to archive anything.

This laptop is super fast! Display is beautiful and it's just a pleasure to use. I am a Windows user and although it's been an adjustment it is really easy to get help. Apple support is excellent. Battery life has been fantastic so far. Really enjoying this laptop.
