This macbook has plenty display size. Good for work. Good performance and battery.

I've been wanting to get a macbook pro for a while now and I'm definitely happy with my choice. So far I'm ridiculously happy with my purchase. This model is perfect for my school work and web design, and it's faster than any of my previous computers. As is the case with macs, the price was steep, but I was willing to pay it in the hopes that it will outlive any other laptops I've ever had.

My 2008 MacBook was slowly dying and this last Summer I knew I needed to replace it. I understand how to use multiple computer platforms so I decided on an HP laptop because it had a 17" screen and Apple quit making that size back in 2010. I tried to use the laptop but typing on it was a nightmare with the cursor flying all over the screen placing letters/symbols in the wrong places. After one month, spyware had to be removed by Geek Squad. Needless to say, I was unhappy with my purchase. I returned to the same Best Buy salesperson, Cynthia, and explained my dilemma. She mentioned she understood that once you own a MacBook, you can never go back to another platform. She proceeded to show me a variety of MacBook models with 15" screen and we chose one that fits my needs. I have had my new MacBook Pro about one month now and I can't explain how much happier I am typing on a premium product! Just understand Apple products may cost a little more up front, but their superior quality is worth every penny in the long run!

I purchased this laptop for my wife and she has not had any issues with the unit. Apple makes very reliable laptops and this one is no different. The main differences with this unit and the older model is obviously the processor but the retna display is very vivid, and she loves the battery life. She literally uses the laptop for 8hrs in one sitting running multiple programs

Apple is expensive but they make a quality product. At first I looked at the 13 inch but after the price match the bigger screen, higher memory, and quad core processor....these upgrades translate to longevity. The way technology move that has to be considered. Pros: quad core, 15" retina display, good sound, battery (5.5 to 7hrs), ecosystem, and speed. Cons: soldered Ram, difficult if not impossible user upgradability, and cost In the end....the things you can't skimp on is comfort, quality, & size. This MacBook does a good job of being a power house in a compact package. If Apple would go back to making systems more user upgradable then 5 stars but since they've gone the way of making you spend the most they can from go, 4 stars.

I'm Mac Neutral, there are faster machines for less money in the Windows market but I wanted a MacBook Pro for when I'm doing an on site photo shoot. A 250 SSD is (imho) a minimum size drive. I expect once the warranty runs out I'll upgrade it to a 1 gig drive. This MBP is very fast, has WiFi AC (also very fast) and is solidly built. The thing is incredibly thin which is a bit of a problem when you're looking for a back pack as most of them are designed to accommodate laptops twice as thick... not really a problem but it does flop around a little bit in some bags. I have an identical MBP which I use at my day job for technical support. I've installed Virtual Box to run Windows 7 for the few odd little apps that only have Windows versions. Mostly used for Adobe LightRoom, Adobe PhotoShop and MS Office.

After buying two laptops within a year that just didn't live up to my expectations, I took the plunge and bought a MacBook Pro. It is the best decision I ever made. It is lightning fast, light weight with no obnoxious updates happening every time I log on. It was s little intimidating to start out learning the ins and outs but I absolutely love it.

this is by far the best computer i have ever used. The retina on the screen looks great and is such a powerful machine. The price is high but if you're willing to spend a lot on a laptop, this is definitely the one to get.

I have been PC all my life except my phone being an iphone. I bought this because I could not load Photoshop on my PC. The Mac is so easy to use right out of the box. The display is amazing, iPhoto is simple to use. Pages saves to a pdf for viewing on a PC. Don't really care for the conversion to word. Overall, thrilled, worth the higher cost!

After you set it up for the first time, this laptop is super fast, it's ready to work in less than a minute when you turn it on. The quality of the screen is very high. It was extremely easy to set up my printer. I still need to learn a lot about Apple computers so the only bad thing that I can say about it is that it gets very very hot when watching videos.

Having always owned a MacBook Air, I was ready to make the leap to a Pro. Not disappointed as this notebook is super fast with an incredible screen. The SSD hard drive is an added bonus so it boots fast. These may be expensive but you get what you pay for.

Not much to say. Apple Mac Book Pro retina display is great. I loved my old Mac Book Pro but it was time for a new one. It is much lighter. The only think I dislike is no CD-Rom drive! Had to purchase an external drive but both the laptop and drive were cheaper here despite my Apple teacher discount. Way to go Best Buy!

After more than a few years of reading and comparing a Macbook Pro against PC laptops, we purchased the Macbook PRO 15" with full confidence. Initially, I thought I would shop around and would eventually perhaps find the best price online. I was so impressed by service, knowledge and attention I received while shopping at Best Buy. Additionally, the associates and manager listened to my needs for my small business and funds are tight so every decision and dollar spent counts. I didn't purchase on the spot but returned about an hour later after giving some time to think and being sure not to make an impulse buy on such a big item. Again, everyone was just as nice as before even up to the point when I was walking out the first time...and I really appreciated that. I returned and purchased what is by far the most impressive laptop I've seen. A friend of mine has already bought one after seeing mine- its incredibly impressive and incredibly hard NOT to impulse by this this machine!! Looking forward to the many years ahead with my pretty work horse! Thanks again Best Buy!

The Apple Macbook Pro is a high quality product. It is extremely fast and the display is great. There are so many different functions of the computer, which is unique compared to previous computers I have owned. This is a definite upgrade from the computer I had previously. I would highly recommend the product.

i love this MacBook Pro. It's a little heavy but other than that it's beautiful. The quality Apple puts on the market is incredible and my family will continue to purchase apple products. Battery life is really good and consistent, beautiful retina display, loud speakers, and we haven't had any issues!

It is my second macbook retina 15. I like the aluminum body and brilliant screen quality of the retina. Especially, this one comes with 16GB of ram which is big enough to handle multitasking.

I use my mac every day all day. I use it for work, its stupid efficient. I use it for gaming, super smooth. Never gets too hot. Excellent battery life. Screen is the most awesome screen I've ever used (out of probably 70 or so other laptops I've used on various occasions.) Go mac and don't go back.

So far, so good. I'm still working on getting some stuff set up, but so far that process has been very smooth with helpful guidance available online when needed. I am very happy with the battery life of this MacBook and the fact that things don't slow down when I have multiple programs running.
