The display is beautiful. I have a 2009 MBP and was blown away by the crispness of the retina display. With 8GB RAM and a SSD the speed is unbelievable. I was able to restore my TimeMachine backup quickly and started using it just as I left off with my old MBP. Having airdrop access with my iPad and iPhone is nice also. Everything is fast and so convenient.

I really like the look and feel of the MacBook Pro, display is awesome, performance is superb, force touch track pad is great and the battery life is as advertised. This is my first Mac and I have to say that the transition to OS X is bit harder than I expected. I have always liked my iPhones so I figured a Mac would be an easy transition. It's not super hard, it's just different and I definitely loose some productivity. I am sure I will get up to speed in a few more months, the learning curve is just slightly steeper than I expected. I know I can run windows on here if I desire, but I am trying to embrace the new OS. All in all I am still happy with the purchase.

Top-of-the-line Macbook that impressed even this long-time Mac user. It's fast, it's got good storage space, the battery is incredible, the screen is Retina... yeah, it's expensive, but if you're looking for a Macbook Pro, you're not going to get any better than this.

Coming from a previous 2011 MBP 15.4", I was hesitant that the screen size would work for me. However, after a few weeks of using the 13" screen, I can confidently say that I don't miss the additional real estate anymore, and the benefits of this laptop far outweigh that minor downgrade. Fastest laptop I've ever used. Thinnest laptop I've owned. Just the right amount of disk space. The build quality is undeniable. Before, I used to question whether I'd take my laptop when traveling abroad since the 15.4" was kind of heavy, but now I don't even worry about it, and I didn't have to sacrifice power to do so. So convenient and powerful that it just makes you feel like this is one great purchase, and it truly is. Highly recommended.

I have owned this specific macbook for about a month now, and I have to say, it is the best computer I have used so far. Its speed and its sleekness is amazing, and it is also very mobile. Yes, it costs quite a bit to own one, but I think that it is worth the money. Definitely recommend it over any laptop in market.

The laptop is so light which makes it easier to carry around. It's not slow at all. And not complicated to use. Since I have an iPhone it makes my life easier especially when it comes to answering text messages. The only reason I bought it was because I needed a new computer for my self only

Over the years I've gone through a half dozen or more laptops. The 2015 13" MacBook Pro is by far the best I've ever owned. It's the perfect balance of being lightweight and powerful. It's quick and the Retina display looks great. It's expensive, but a great investment.

Light. Beautiful Screen. Fast enough for any office application, light CAD work and some picture/video editing. Small enough to fit in most of my bags. Would highly recommend over any Microsoft products based on software and component integration alone.

I know I love Apple products, this laptop is the best. It is fast, great software and I don't have to worry about a lot of junk clogging up the computer. Using this lightweight ,powerful laptop for photos is absolutely great.

Have a 2009 iMac, 2nd gen iPad, & iPhone 6. Wanted a laptop for portability & on-the-go hobby photography processing. This laptop fits the bill. Decided on the 13" because of portability versus the 15". Great performance!

First time purchasing a Mac, always been a Pc user, at 63 years of age, my first 'pc' was 10 meg drive 7 mghz processor. I purchased to use with my headphone Amplifiers, to listen to my music library only, as I never used a Mac and was unfamilier with the system. I have had the Macbook Pro Retina now for about two months, and haven't turned the old HP on in six weeks. The Mac does everything with lightening speed, and ultra clarity, and while Iam still in a learning (slight) curve, am very comfortable with using the Mac. I will not hesitate to make my next purchase a Mac.

Bought this laptop for my son. Perfect for his college courses. Very light, and great performance. Long battery life, and great apps. Definitely recommend.

I had bought my wife a 2014 MacBook Pro with Retina Display and I was going to get that version since it was on sale. However, when Apple released this version of the MBP with Retina Display, I decided to purchase this machine instead. When I compared this machine to my old 2009 MacBook Pro, this machine blows it out of the water. I am impressed on how fast it operates and I love the Force Touch Trackpad. In addition, battery life is great; sometimes I would not need to charge this for a couple of days depending on how heavy I use the machine. Yes, this laptop is expensive but it is well worth the money spent knowing I have invested in a quality product which will last for years. I'd highly recommend this to anyone.

This is the first MacBook I've ever purchased and I have to say that it's the best laptop of any kind that I have ever owned. I always thought Macs were too expensive and total rip offs until I started seeing that all the Windows laptops that I wanted to get were the same price. So I figured if I'm going to spend that much I might as well get a Mac. I love the new OSX and updated it to El Capitan. The battery life on OSX is amazing. I also installed Windows 10 on it to run Visual Studio 2013. Installing Windows was super easy through the El Capitan boot camp. You don't even need a flash drive. El Capitan will locate the windows file on your computer and install it automatically. The build quality of this machine is unlike any other I have owned. All real metal and beautiful resolution screen. At first I was skeptical of what looked like a lack of ventilation but under OSX the laptop doesn't even get that hot. The trackpad is a thing of beauty and feels really well built and professional. I was going to get the new Magic Mouse but the trackpad is a better experience as there's no force touch on any magic mouse. I didn't like that there were no CD drives or ethernet ports. However upon browsing the Apple web site I saw an adapter that goes into one of the thunderbolt ports that will support an ethernet cable. This is great because it doesn't even take up a USB spot. Also, Apple sells an external CD/DVD drive but I haven't had a need for that yet. Especially since El Capitan's new boot camp capabilities. I really like this computer and would definitely buy another one in the future. The only thing I didn't like was that there was no gold version like the New 12" MacBook. I hope that future MacBook Pro models will come in gold. Other than that, I am very happy with my purchase and am a new fan and customer of Apple.

I am a realtor and this computer goes with me everywhere. It's fast, reliable, lightweight and gives me the ability to take my office with me. Great battery life as well.

It is so much faster and lighter than my 4 year old mac book pro. I miss the CD/DVD drive, but besides that it is like driving a corvette. Would buy it again in a heart beat.

I love this new MacBook Pro with Flash Storage. It is SO much faster and portable than my old MacBook Pro! Battery life is excellent. (a good 4 hours plus with the display at full brightness while running a slide show at a recent trade show) At first I didn't think there was much difference in the Retina display, but after using the new MacBook for a couple of months, I had to use my old MacBook for a few minutes to retrieve a file. No way would I want to go back to the old display now!
