I debated for almost a year about moving from my MacBook Air 11" to the Air 13" or this Pro 13" Retina. I finally chose this for the Retina display and so glad I did. It is fast and the screen is amazing. Only wish I had not delayed so long.

We upgraded our six-year old MacBook Pro over Christmas. Generally pleased with the new machine. Apple has maintained the build quality, the design is attractive, and the laptop boots and responds quickly. The battery retains a charge longer than I expected; I only need to charge once a week based on my after-work usage (average 1 - 2 hours daily). I miss the DVD player, though. While the Cloud is great, I miss the convenience of just sticking in a disk sometimes. My biggest gripe is with Yosemite. The scrolling function is a pain with just the laptop built-in mousepad. You need a mouse, whereas it wasn't a problem to get by without before.

All my life I have been using PC based hardware but after the good experience I had with Apple's i-phone and i-pad I decided to try a Macbook Pro. I'm still learning but so far I like the speed, features and size.I still have a lot to learn but I'm enjoying the challenge.

I'm a graphic designer for a travel company and have been in search for the perfect travel friendly design laptop for quite sometime. After a ton of research (and patience saving up), I decided the 13" pro would be my best option. Since upgrading memory later isn't really an option, I decided to get the best available as far as ram. So far, I've only built 2 websites on the machine, but I feel that it will fit my needs perfectly. I can run photoshop and dreamweaver smoothly w no problems, and have found an impatience for shopping on my iPhone lately, which is quite a new experience. Shopping is so much better on an actual computer. So far (5 weeks in) I think its safe to say this machine is fantastic for both traveling (pretty lightweight) and design (as long as its not videos). I am glad I went through bestbuy to get it. The service was faster, 10 times less confusing to fogure out who could help me (I only had to talk to 1 person the whole time), and my sales guy didn't pressure tme to buy extra stuff I didn't need. Basically, if you hate the line at the apple store, this is the way to go. The only thing I feel us lacking is built in speakers...ended up getting a travel speaker to plug in.

I bought this Macbook as a replacement to my old one. Compared to the previous version I had, this works faster and the battery life is longer. The addition Touch Force feature has not been maximized yet but it works pretty well.Overall, I highly recommend this!

I bought this Macbook pro to replace my previous Macbook pro. Nothing was wrong with my previous except that my Daughter needed a laptop after she got married and moved out. I told them that I would get a new one and give them my old one. Love the new one even more. the Retina Display is so clear. Very fast computer.

Great Apple product as usual. First time with the SSD. Seems to work well. Not noticing the "lightening speed" cited in ads etc. The Laptop runs very cool though. Lasts a long time on battery and I don't settle for a dim display or unlit keyboard. Fifth Mac in our family. Also have four iPhones and three iPads.

My son was very keen on this model. I researched the different models on Best Buy and then compared prices online. Best Buy had the best price anywhere, and we were able to order online and pick up the next morning at our nearby store. He loves the computer and it does all it is supposed to do.

Bought this computer after months of research. Wasn't sure about switching to IOS, but was very easy to get use to it. I have windows programs for work that I must have, so also purchased Parallels so I can run both IOS and Windows. Windows actually runs better on my Mac then it ever did on my Dell. Best purchase I have made in years and wish I would have done it sooner.

This is the best computer ever. I will never go back to pc. The speed and abilities of this computer don't even come close to pc. My old beloved mac is now retired :( It lasted for 8 years. I installed Parallels and Windows 7 and I can play all my old games on my mac. This is one purchase that I will never regret and is a great investment for anyone.

Great computer! Super Fast! If you've never owned a computer with an SSD hardrive it's time! They are a little pricing but so worth it especially if you have tons of info stored on your computer. I was skeptical at first b/c i'm a "PC" guy but after two months I've completely changed my mind and I see now why so many ppl love Mac's! Get this computer!!!

Great computer. Better price than had I bought at the Apple store! Lightweight. So easy to set up. The service at Best Buy isn't always top notch-- I had to wait about 20 minutes to get someone to come to me, and that was after I asked 2 employees for help. However, if you know what you want and just want to go in and buy it, it's worth it.
