I bought this MacBook for my son for college. He loves it. Great speed, awesome graphics, long battery life and very lightweight. It replaces an old HP 15 in laptop. We thought the smaller screen would make a big difference but in fact the clear picture and speed more than makes up for it. It is very easy to carry around. I would definitely recommend.

Apple has done a tremendous job of slimming this new MacBook Pro, and also taking the weight off as well. I also love that it comes in space gray. The dynamic touch bar is the best part of the laptop, which is customizable and allows multi-tasking to be almost too easy. The improvement in graphics and also sound quality is very noticeable. The only drawback is the missing CD/DVD drive and the regular USB port. It's another thing if the laptop came with the adapter, but nope, it does not. As technology moves towards being fully wireless and being on the cloud... hopefully there will be less of a need for those extensions.

This MacBook Pro is the best so far. Probably the best laptop period. Thin, light and super fast. I thought the touch bar wouldn't be useful but I find myself using it and I like it. As an IT guy that uses PC daily, laptops, Workstations and servers, I have to say it doesn't get much better than this. Well until the new Pros comes out.

Excellent performance, super speed, and brilliant display. But it is little bit expensive and no USB Type-A ports.

I'll admit that I seldom use any of the options on the bar, but it has been useful every time I needed them. The options change with your needs and the active application which is useful. The laptop itself is fast, responsive, etc., as expected.

Other than the price, this is a very nice upgrade for people who want a lighter, thinner MacBook Pro, and can sacrifice the standard USB ports (adapters are fine, but can be annoying sometimes). The battery life is really good, size is perfect and the overall functionality is what you would expect from Apple.

This MacBook is pretty and very easy to use, especially with the new function of the touch bar. I love it.

Love this new Mac, rarely ever even gets warm. Silent, fast always seems to work and not hesitate.

Very satisfied with the new MacBook. Touchbar adapts to the software you are using and is very nice! Processor is very fast too. No old style USB ports or HDMI ports, so you'll need an adapter if you use this. It also doesn't have the mag safe power cord like previous generations. I'll miss that feature, but hey it is razor thin!

This is the next step in Apple with only having type c ports and a new touch bar, it seems they are really stretching for the future. The price is a bit high for just the base model with the touch bar considering that, last years 15" I7 with 16 gig ram is around the same price. For me, I have a home desktop where I render and process all of my projects. So this mac is simply a laptop I can take with me as a more casual computer and not something that I will be using to finalize projects on.

The new Mac with touch bar has some much needed updates from the 2011 MacBook. It is much lighter, the speakers sound like a bluetooth speaker, the screen is much brighter, and the speed and storage is much better. If I would have to say any negatives, it says the screen is the same size as the 2011, the 13", but my case won't fit on the new one. Also, I had to buy an adapter for the new ports as there are no USB ports anymore. Overall, this is a great computer for what I need.

I absolutely love the new MacBook Pro. It is very light and fast. Disregard the complaints from people about the touch bar because i have no had a single problem with it. It is actually very handy and fun to use. Overall great laptop. Highly recommended.

I bought this to replace an old MacBook Pro. Lighter, faster, better, this machine was well worth the cost to upgrade. The Touchbar is something that you might think is just a gimmick, but when an app takes advantage of it, it really is quite useful.

This computer is DOPE!!!! The trackbar is an amazing feature and the slim design is super slick. Works fast, HOLDS BATTERY LOWER LONGER THAN ANY MAC LAPTOP IVE HAD, and is all around what you'd expect performance wise from Apple at this point!!

I love how lightweight it is and the touchbar is simply genius. It really makes messing around on GarageBand and IMovie a breeze. The emoji bar is great as well and it makes texting on the laptop a lot of fun. I would recommend it to anyone.

Not much to say. I finally purchased my first laptop. It HAD to be an Apple product. We are replacing our late 2009 iMac. It's hanging in there, but am tired of the slow speeds. This MacBook is incredibly fast. I assumed I would need 16gb of ram, but after speaking to an Apple rep at Best Buy on a previous research mission he reminded me that the hardware and software are built to work specifically with one another and you don't need to compensate as much. I manually transferred files instead of migrating. I didn't want to bring all of the garbage from my old computer over to this one. Since we have two computers, I put my photos on a SSD and my music on the laptop. The USB-c combined with an external SSD is ridiculously fast. I hope to get at least 8 years out of this computer and overlap with another laptop sooner for my wife.

This is another solid Apple product. The touch bar is much better than I thought it would be and it will continue to be more useful as new apps customize their software. The overall speed, size and weight is perfect for a 13" computer.

This is my first time owning an apple computer and I love it (I've only had windows products in the past). I've had it for a few months now. The speed of this computer is incredible. I use it mainly to run my healing coaching business and everything runs like a breeze. I can have multiple tabs and projects going on and it can handle it! I especially love the keyboard. The sound quality is also amazing! This laptop is also very light for all the features it has. 13 inch screen is also perfect! The only little complaint I have is that the battery life could be better, but it's not a big deal for me because it charges pretty quickly and I always have my charger on hand. This laptop meets all my needs for business and leisure. It is my dream computer that I've always wanted. I'm very satisfied! :)
