Brillant production but room for improvement. If you're going for speed then Apple is the way to go and this laptop is fantastic. I'm not big into technology but I really enjoy the touchbar; however, there are a lot of sites or apps that have yet to catch up. This means that the touch bar doesn't have hotkeys available for those programs. I'm sure in the future that they will, but for the time being they don't. Also, it doesn't seem to work fully unless the program is opened to fullscreen. But Apple always challenges everyone else so I like how they lead.

I absolutely love the touch bar on this!! I have only ever owned a desktop computer. I've wanted a laptop forever, especially a macbook. This is by far the best choice I've made on a computer. It is very user friendly, easy to figure out links/touchbar/etc. Siri is always there to help if I can't find something too!

Bought this to replace my MacBook 12". This is great. I love the touch bar - nifty gimmick. Highly recommend.

This is my first MacBook, I was a Windows user. I can't believe how simple it is to use. I thought that it would be more complicated but it is not. I installed applications like Java JDK and Microsoft on it easily. The only complaint would be the ports. This would better with USB 2.0/3.0 ports and SD card slot, etc. But nothing is perfect. Nevertheless it is still a good computer for students. I use it for school only (I don't play games). With Apple, it seems to be always overpriced and it feels like I am buying the brand name. Still, I like it.

i had a MacBook air for years. I switched to the new pro. The display is the best part. it is colorful and vibrant. The speakers are crisp. the keyboard is a nice touch. the only reason to have the touchbar is so that nylon cat can stream across it. but in all seriousness the touchbar helps with shortcuts.

The new Mac Book Pro is amazing--sleek and powerful with big lap top features loaded into the 13 inch model. The rich display makes it feel like a much larger screen and the new Touch Bar technology adds intuitive shortcuts that change with each application and can be customized. Apple has done it again!

I upgraded to this from a MacBook Air (with an i7 processor) and this laptop is much faster and has a much much better screen. It's also just as light. The SSD speed makes this laptop feel very fast. Don't worry about the lack of USB-A ports. USB-C works well and all laptops are headed that way anyway.

Purchased this computer for school activities and this new Mac is great! The screen resolution looks amazing! I'm able to see YouTube and Netflix videos in 4K resolution. In addition, I love the touch bar that has replaced the previous buttons in comparison to the previous model. Makes the computer run so much smoother and take up less space on the keyboard. I also like the finger print option it gives you to open your computer just like an iPhone. Overall, great computer, fast and has good resolution. Apple did a good job with this model!

I absolutely love my Apple Pro. It is a great computer with a great picture and speed, it's compact and looks really smooth and pretty too. Only thing I would personally change is the USB ports there's is none which isn't a deal breaker for me but I would of loved for there to be at least one

I might not be the best gauge on how good this computer is, I am upgrading from a 2008 MacBook. This MacBook Pro is everything I expected from Apple so far, fast, clean running, and sleek in design. I was very pleased with how long my 2008 MacBook lasted, I expect this one to go just as long.

The Mac is quick and very accessible for college. Too bad they did not throw in some beats headphones

I haven't owned a computer (though I have an iPad) in years and purchased this for a new job. Absolutely love it! Everything is so intuitive and easy to use, took all of five minutes to get acclimated. The touchbar is so fun and helpful to use instead of having to remember key controls for shortcuts.

This computer does everything that I want, well almost... Runs everything I throw at it. Touchbar is a fun addition, but in actual use I use it seldom besides emojis when messaging. Awesome that they included Type C, so much you can do with this however! they included too many ports... If you're deciding on getting this laptop you'll need to buy a couple of adaptors to use anything. This computer can even handle games at lower graphic settings. I came from a PC and found the Mac interface to be quite nice and user friendly.

I can't write a great review because I am having trouble finding anything l don't like about this laptop. The keyboard takes a bit of getting used to but once you do, it's great! The screen resolution is fantastic and the speed is great. Contrary to many reviews, I do get use out of the touch bar.

Macs have came a long way. This is a game changer! I love the touch bar too. Simplicity is not only beautiful, but it is so easy to use. The batter lasts plenty long too, so I'm not quite sure what people mean about the batter not lasting. A recent update has fixed this problem also if it was one.

Great computer, I originally bought it for school, but it also works great for editing my pictures.

the mack book pro is to me the best computer ever, is fast, is the right size and very very light weight. is excellent for school, homework test,and everything else. I had a mack book pro that lasted me for five years, and i got this one because the other one was already old but they are amazing.

I really love the new MacBook and the touchbar! It is fast and works perfectly and efficiently. The touchbar facilitates access to many app feaures, such as tab switching, new website, and others in Safari; formatting features in Pages; Emojis and Predictable Keyboard in IM. Great computer!
