I bought this computer for my son to use this year for college. He says he uses it to take notes in all of his classes but the the touch bar is his favorite, everything he needs right there to use.

This is really a well crafted laptop thought through end to end. Powerful yet sleek. Although the touchbar is something to get used to, it has a long way to go before getting real use of it.

Love new mac with taskbar it replaces older model MacBook the speed is noticeable. Use to take 30-45 secs to open office and I can open word and excel and PowerPoint in less then ten seconds.

I am very pleased with this device. It performs very well. The only minimal concern is the battery life but the tech blogs indicate an OS update will fix that issue. It does not impact my use.

The toucher is so useful. I really love this laptop. Very lightweight.

Fast, awesome display, touch bar can be very useful at times as well

This Macbook offers great performance and upgraded hardware with an outstanding display. The Touchbar is nice but not something that I would have to have. Overall the computer is excellent.

I went in skeptical with all the critical technical reviews. Absolutely love how light the MacBook is. Haven't found my way through the touch bar yet. The new trackpad is great to use.

Runs a bit warm, needs open air. keyboard is softer for sure. Didn't know if the touch bar would be useful, but it is very useful, i get a new MacBook Pro every 3 years, my wife gets the 3 year old, and my niece or nephew get the 6 year old.....these machines do not die!!!! We have not owned a PC or droid since 2008.....Mac only household..they keep running

Very fast, efficient and reliable. Touch bar feature is amazing.

My boss got one and I became envious.... I did not find using the Mac OS difficult, it it pretty intuitive. Construction is topnotch. Track pad is the best I have ever used. Touchbar is novel, if not useful. I can get through a work day on the battery; spreadsheets and web browsing mostly. Not cheap, but that is not news to anyone. No buyer's remorse.

This is my third MacBook Pro. The slide bar is a nice feature but except for the ID touch I have found I don't use it as much as I thought I would. But it's nice to have the option.

This is the first Mac computer that I have ever owned. I was going to make the transition from a Windows XP to a Windows 10, but I was extremely confused with the operating system. Then, I tried one of the MacBook pros on display and noticed that the transition might be less challenging. In the end, I am extremely pleased with my purchase and I will never go back to windows (for personal use). I use a Windows 7 at my job and this MacBook Pro at home and I see almost no difference in usability between them. However, the hardware and software of this computer is impeccable. The screen is amazing and I really do enjoy the new keyboard.

Good for school. Light weight. Easy to set up great display

We were trying to decide between a tablet and this system for personal travel use etc. It's light weight and more functional than most tablets. We're very happy with our new laptop!

I bought an Apple Laptop before and after 7 years its still working as new. Therefore when I needed to upgrade I had to chose another Apple Laptop. They are quick and easy to use.

Before I decided on buying one of the new Macs with the touchbar I thought that maybe it was a gimmicky thing to use. Turns out it is super useful and efficient. Love that feature!

This is a great mac. I bought it for my daughter who is in law school. She had an older one that was 5 years old. She said that it does every thing that she needs for school.

I had a MacbookPro from 2011 that died on my right before grad school. This was definitely worth the buy and easy to transition to! Good, solid quality and love the touch bar.
