This new MacBook Pro has been nothing but superb for me. First, I'd like to address the elephant in the room, which is the battery life. With the January software update, this laptop has been giving me 8-10 hours of use before having to charge it up. Obviously if you are watching videos or doing intensive graphic work, that may be a little less. The keyboard feels great when typing and just the overall feel and performance makes his a must-have laptop!

The MacBook Pro 13' touch screen is fast. The Display is bright and touch screen is very useful. But the battery life is not great. Sound is a big update from previous version and I really like the keyboard design. I highly recommend this MacBook Pro!

This is my first MacBook and it's amazing! There isn't one thing that I don't like about this laptop! It has a lot of fun and neat features! I love how my iPhone and my MacBook work together like one seamless machine. For example, I take a picture with my phone and it appears on my MacBook without me connecting the phone and importing the images! It is absolutely amazing!! The touchbar is fun and functional!! I'm still amazed by my MacBook at what it does, how great it works, & the way my iPhone and MacBook work together! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!! Will never own anything else again!

Just love this macbook. Its super nice and touch bar is the best feature.

This MacBook Pro is the newest version that just came out in late 2016 and has some nice features over the previous version that my daughter has been using for 4 years of college. (BTW, that older MacBook Pro has worked flawlessly throughout her college years, even while being abused by a student, as is typical.) The new MacBook Pro is lighter weight, faster, and the keyboard and mouse pad are easy to use. The touchscreen LCD at the top of the keyboard is fantastic as it changes to show functions that are applicable to the current task at hand. The display is bright and very clear. For students, I recommend the 13" display over the 17" as it fits easily into a backpack for carrying between classes. As for Best Buy, they delivered the MacBook earlier than originally stated, and I took it to the local store where they quickly installed and setup anti-virus software and Office 365. Kudos to them for great service.

I first found the flicker within one week, at first I thought it is a software problem, then I uninstall some softwares, it get better. But after two days, it happens again.

The new MacBook Pro may take some adjustment to the new connection ports (usb-c only) but as far as performance and display this machine is top notch. Some have complained of the feel of the new keyboard. I’m probably the worst typist you’ll meet and I love the new keyboard (not sure if that helps). It’s extremely light for a Pro series laptop. Much improved speakers. And the pressure-sensitive trackpad has a small learning curve, but once you ge the hang of it, it becomes a big benefit. The touch bar is icing on the cake.

the new MacBook Pro is lighter, thinner, smaller and faster than previous models. the retinal screen is bright, clear, and vivid. Better battery life, faster charge cycle. The new charge cable was an initial put off but I can see the advantages now if only the other apple devices used the new connector. Having to still work on a learning curve for the touch screen feature. The new iOs has some interesting features.

After owning an old MacBook the white one for ten years, I would NEVER part ways with Apple. They are indestructible, I could tell my old laptop was slowing down though so had to bite the bullet and upgrade. I love the new laptop, it’s lightweight almost like an Air. I love how fast it is, but I do miss the magnetic charging port of my old one and CD player as well as usb. Seems too high tech for me, but touch bar is genius!

If your going to buy an Apple MacBook the touch bar is worth it. Siri is very advanced, the processor is the fastest I've ever worked with and the screen is crisp not to mention how light the laptop is now. The USB-C ports take some getting used to and you may need some "dongles" as they are referred. Overall fantastic laptop.

You can buy a 'Dell' or a 'Lenovo' laptop with the same configuration for ~$1000, sure! But, it will not be a Mac! The touch pad is amazing, saves effort and time and the newly included touch bar is superb too. It would have been awesome if there was a 16GB RAM version in this. Pros: Touchpad, touchbar, Keyboard, Light weight, 6-7 hour lasting battery, can charge through any port Cons: The escape key in the touchbar, has only Type-C ports- you need to spend another 30$ on USB type-C to USB connector

This is my third Apple computer. I really like the Touch Bar the computer is fast lightweight and easy to use

Finally caved & bought a MacBook. After many years of failed Windows PCs it was time. Yes Apple is expensive but these really last. Also have an old 2010 MacBook that still works. This 2017 device is super fast, light weight & fun. It’s also really thin & I feel like I’m going to break it. But it’s pretty durable so far. Only down sides: cost, pretty thin & mouse accessory comes with USB 3.0 not USB-c to connect.

I'll admit up front that I'm biased. I love Apple products. I taught myself how to build Windows PCs so that I could fix them when my kids tore them up, then I found MacBooks and became a user instead of a repairman... with that in mind, I love this machine for small size, great power, the Touch Bar is awesome, it runs smoothly with no problems, etc etc. The ONLY issue I have is the only input and output is a USB-C interface. I loved the mag-connect power chargers on the old machines and now getting data in and out almost always requires a dongle. What a bummer. That is the difference and the only reason for 4 stars vs 5.

This is a replacement for a MacBook Pro that was 6 years old. The subtle changes (and some not so subtle, such as the touch bar) make it a joy to use. I debated between this model and a 15 inch...For the money, I'm delighted with my choice. I've taken it on a couple of trips now, but primarily it's my main home office computer. No complaints.

I've had a MacBook since 2001 and this is by far the best one apple has come out with because it's, light, easy to use and is quite responsive as it relates to speed. The only sort of con is the USB-C and for me it's a con since I'm not quite up to speed on this technology yet. I'm a little freaked out that I have to buy an adapter to connect my USB devices-- then again there is no CD drive so I think I just need to educate myself further on using the cloud to save stuff. Best Buy had a competitive price that was actually better than the apple deal with the beats head phones. And, they shipped it a day earlier than promised so I'm quite happy with their service overall. Thank you Best Buy!

I love my MacBook Pro! But what else would I expect? This is my second MacBook Pro and I continue to be amazed by the ease of use, speed of the computer and overall great performance. Yes, it is pricey but it is worth every penny. These machines last forever. I highly recommend the new MacBook Pro.

I love this laptop. The touch bar at the top is really convenient, it's fast and has good graphics, and its light weight is awesome. The only negative aspect of this computer that I have run across is that there is no built-in CD player, but that's pretty minor.

Pros: super quiet, light for a 13", great sound from speakers, crisp display, touch bar is a good addition now that the OS has fixed some of the bugs (freezing), USB C for charging on both sides of the laptop, fast, spacious SSD, solid construction, keyboard is good once you get used to it. Cons: All ports gone except for USB C. Have to get used to carrying adapters, and dongles, etc... The air intake slits at the bottom of the laptop is a bit sharp and can be felt when carrying the laptop. This laptop is way expensive for a 13" laptop, but what you get is a solidly built machine.
