I purchased this mouse when the scroll-wheel on my Logitech started sticking. I have never been fond of Apple's idea of a mouse - until this one. It is the finest mouse I have owned. No moving parts to gum up. Very smooth operation. The mouse includes a touch surface, providing the functions of a scroll-wheel that feels very natural, and includes right-left scrolling as well. It functions as a two-button mouse, and also has two-finger functions for app scrolling and switching to mission control. The rechargeable battery provides a month or more of operation, and recharges quickly. Cons: Expensive Cannot use the mouse while charging

Easy, nothing to do. Nothing to pair. Just works, last forever and displays how much battery is left. Pricy but if you want something that works w/o pause then you've found it

I am relatively new to the Apple products but have had my miniMac for a year or so. I did not like my Logitech mouse as it was hit and miss as to whether it worked. I looked and researched and ended up with this mouse. I have to say I should have done this long ago. So easy to get used to and I believe anyone who buys it will be so happy with it. Don't wait!!!!

Apple designs and manufacturers great products, albeit, expensive products. The Magic Mouse 2 is expensive, but it works seemlesly. it quickly paired /connected to my computer and lasts a very long time on a single charge.

This mouse works as any other mouse out there. However the design and build ability is very good, but I do feel is very over priced.

I wasn't sure if this mouse was worth the extra dollars just because it had the Apple name. I was wrong. Besides being sleek and light, it is extremely intuitive with all of the gestures. Battery life so far seems to be great. I don't anticipate having to constantly worry about plugging it up to charge as it appears to hold it's charge for a long time. Minor note to anyone that has the new MacBook Pros with only USB-C ports...you will have to either get an adapter to be able to plug this in to your MB or purchase a USB-C to Lightening cable if you don't already have one. I already had the latter so I had no issues doing the initial pair nor will I have any issues if I want to charge it via my MB or charging adapter that is USB-C versus USB-A. To address the difference in the white option versus this space gray one....as mentioned by others, the only difference is the color and the inexplicable price premium on the space gray one. Ultimately the choice will be based on color preference and whether you want to save a little. I've also noticed in the questions section some people giving incorrect info on if this can be used on the iPad Pro. It absolutely can on the eligible versions (I know for sure it works with the iPad Pro 11 2nd Gen and iPad Pro 12 4th Gen). It does appear though that if you switch between the MB and iPad Pro you will have to go into bluetooth settings and reconnect the mouse for it to work. Not a huge deal but it may be something that bothers some users. You do not however have to go through the pair process again (meaning you don't have to connect the mouse via sync cable to make it pair like you do at first use). Overall, I definitely think the Magic Mouse 2 is a great accessory to add to your arsenal. Learning the gestures if you aren't already familiar with them is pretty simple and if nothing else...Apple does a great job of making their ecosystem just work seamlessly together.

Look, it's a great mouse. Works well, feels smooth. Easy enough to pair. Battery lasts nicely. I've used it for my 2015 MacBook Pro as well as my 2019. No complaints except for the price. I don't really think I'm experiencing anything worth this much of a price premium.

This is by far the best mouse I've ever had. Looks nearly identical to the last Apple mouse but this one works so much better. A lot of comments about the charging port placement but where else could it go to keep the sleek style. There is ample warning to charge before it runs out of battery life so you can charge it when your not using it with no inconvenience.

I purchased the Magic Mouse 2 to replace a corded Apple optical mouse that I purchased with a new computer 14 years ago. I have confidence in Apple products, but I don't reflexively upgrade to new technology. However, my old mouse became erratic which motivated me to replace it. I made the leap to the Magic Mouse 2. I cannot be more pleased. This Bluetooth mouse has no moving parts. It works beautifully. It was fully charged out of the box. It maintains a charge for about three weeks. I recommend the Apple Magic Mouse 2 to any Mac user who needs a new mouse.

Love this mouse. It’s my favorite one to use and it’s especially great considering it’s battery life and wireless capabilities. It’s very responsive as well: I use it with my iMac and it works like a charm.

Overall high quality, and good looking mouse. One flaw is that the charging/lightning connector is located on the bottom of the mouse which eliminates the ability to use the mouse while charging. The touch scrolling works great. By using 3rd party software (some free) will enable using the mouse surface as a trackpad. This is overall an awesome product.
