This mouse is a great improvement over the first Magic Mouse as far as the rechargeable battery. My only issue with it is that the slot for the charging cable is in the dumbest possible place--the bottom. So you can't charge while you're using it. But it makes my work on the Mac much faster.

This is an excellent mouse. I was concerned that I would have to charge it often, but not true. I have been using it over a month and it still has 90% of the original charge. When they update it they should put the connection for the charger on the side or end so it can be used while charging.

Perfect companion for the Mac Mini. Along with function the Magic Mouse is very pleasing to the eye and coordinates perfectly with my taste. Best of all there are no batteries to change. Simply plug it in to your iPad charger and it fully changes for over a month worth of usage overnight.

Out of the box I liked the looks of the mouse. When setting it up you are suppose to hook up by USB except the lap top doesn't have a USB. So we decided to try the Blue tooth and it took right away and has worked flawlessly. Very cool and happy with this purchase.

Easy to pair but the charging is inconvenient. I don't use it often but purchased it because somethings I just want to use a mouse instead of my trackpad. It works great but because I don't use it very often, sometimes I have to plug into an iPhone charger (into the wall) to get it charged back up enough to turn back on and connected. Other than that, it does what I need it to.

I didn’t read any reviews prior. Didn’t know what to think. I just knew I wanted a wireless mouse for my Mac Pro. I wanted something sleek and sexy that worked well. I got that and some. The Magic Mouse has a long battery life and is responsive. And it looks gooood!

The wireless mouse for the MAC was a Christmas present. Sleek and fast but it is very pricey..

Don't listen to the poor reviews on this mouse. The ergonomics are great, it has the same features from the original magic mouse and it tracks on any surface. The rechargeable battery is a great feature. I bought the mouse over a month ago and I still have over 50% battery life.

I absolutely love my new mouse. I usually just use the key pad when using my mac but now that I'm doing editing of my photographs I found it more difficult to do this work without a mouse. OMG using this mouse has made my life so much easier. It's smooth and allows my to be very precise with the work that I am doing. It is the best mouse I have ever used. I can't believe that it took me so long to buy one It is well worth the price. I've had it for at least a month or more and haven't had to recharge it yet. For me it works on all kinds of surfaces and it never skips a beat. I just love it.

I have zero regrets in purchasing this product! One of my better decisions ever. I was concerned at first about being able to easily adapt to it's low sleek profile, but after a few moments of use all doubts were erased. Love the many cool features as well!

I bought this mouse to go along with my new 16" MacBook Pro. Set up is very easy and the charge lasts a very long time. Touch gestures are very nice and great for productivity. The only downside I see with this product is that it is charged via Lightning cable instead of USB 3 and there is no way to charge and use the mouse at the same time due to the charging port being on the bottom side of the mouse. Also I don't see why this product is 20 dollars more than the other color that is available.

I've had the magic mouse 1st gen before and this is definitely a very big upgrade. I love the battery life of it. And with built-in battery on it, I don't need to find rechargeable AA batteries. As soon as i connect the mouse to my macbook, it automatically paired via bluetooth. The only thing that I noticed is that it feels like it become a little more flat. But over all it is a very good mouse.

Great mouse. A little pricey but it is worth the money. Rechargeable and has a long battery life.

On black friday, I was choosing between windows or apple computer to buy. I was looking at windows all in one computers and I mac. When I used the magic mouse on display, it felt more smoother. What's even better is that I don't need any batteries, jut charge and use it again. Battery last me a whole month after one full charge. Magic mouse made my decision so much easier into getting I Mac which came with a magic mouse. I ended up getting a extra one for my macbook pro.

I purchased this second-generation magic mouse to use with my MacBook 12. Like everything Apple, it is sleek and cleverly designed. Like its magic mouse predecessor, it connects by Bluetooth. But this model is rechargeable, and the charge is very long-lasting. The magic mouse goes well beyond normal mouse functionality with a back, for example, that is essentially a trackpad. But beware: it is very sensitive. So you need to be careful how you hold it or how you rest your fingers. Sometimes, it recenters a page or flips back to a previous page without being asked. Ultimately, it is configurable. You can tone down this behavior by disabling features. Overall, it is a compact, well-designed device.

Overall I like this mouse and I am really impressed at the extra gestures it can handle. Rather than having a track ball and a right click button it just "understands" when you want to scroll or right click. My only complaint is that sometimes when I reboot my MacBook it takes a little while to recognize the computer so I have to use the trackpad to log in. Also, it is pretty expensive for a mouse.

I like this mouse quite a bit but still question the $80 cost. Just not sure it's worth it. I wanted an Apple mouse to go with my new MacBook Pro so I decided on the Magic Mouse 2. It works well, was easy to set up and pair with my Mac. So far it's accurate and about as fast as the track pad in my Mac. Nice addition. The $80 price tag is why this is a 4 star review.

I LOVE USING MY MAGIC MOUSE 2 BY APPLE. I NEVER WORRIED ABOUT MY BATTERIES GOING OUT. IT HAS A RECHARGEABLE LITHIUM-ION BATTERY THAT CHARGES FAST AND HOLDS A CHARGE FOR AT LEAST A MONTH. IT COMES WITH THE USB CABLE AND, YOU CAN AUTOMATICALLY PAIR IT WITH ANY MAC.

Pretty identical to the original Magic Mouse...but this one has a built in battery that is charged with thunderbolt cable...Odd that you need to put the cable into the bottom of the mouse rather than the end...but works fine. Battery lasts a LONG time when charged.
