Great upgrade and well built
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The space gray Apple mouse is a great upgrade over the standard apple wireless mouse. The space gray color looks great and a great fit with the wireless keyboard I just purchased. The convenience of rechargeable mouse is a plus and no worries about replacing batteries every six weeks. Operationally it works the same as the old standard mouse but again recharging it every month or so is a big bonus. Again, just like other apple products the mouse is quite pricey but it works great, it’s well built and looks great.

Solid mouse!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Magic Mouse 2 as an upgrade over the Magic Mouse 1. I've been using the Magic Mouse since Apple came out with it and have previously used the first version and second version of the Magic Mouse 1 (the original version had an issue with battery connection that was later fixed). The Magic Mouse 2 is a great improvement over Magic Mouse 1. The charges do last more than I'd expect. My only gripe (and drop of a star) is that the charging port on the mouse is on the underside of the mouse. It makes the mouse practically unusable when charging. I usually have to charge my mouse when I'm using my computer. I've love to see Magic Mouse 3 to somehow incorporate a charging port that doesn't interrupt functionality, similar to the chargeable keyboard.

Great Accessory
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Apple Magic Mouse 2 is great. It works really well with my MacBook 13". Before purchasing the mouse I could not see the scroll bar on the right side of the screen or it would disappear after a couple of seconds. No longer an issue with the Apple mouse. It responds fast and the battery life is very long. I purchased on April 24th and today May 19th my battery reads 85% charged. Great accessory to have and a great purchase. Glad I saved significantly on the price.

Innovative mouse and trackpad in one!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this mouse to use it with my mac. It is well designed and stylishly functional. It acts as a mouse and a trackpad in one. Great innovation by Apple on this mouse. It is very responsive and finger gestures can be customized. I like that it is chargeable and the battery utilization can be found on the computer. It charges quickly and one full charge of battery can be good for one month before it runs out. I would recommend this product whom will be looking for a mouse for their mac.

Much Better than the Reviews
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently had a need for a new mouse -- b/c my existing bluetooth mouse was starting to "skip" and not hold selected copy in Word or cells in Excel. It was a Logitech specifically for a Mac. I wanted another, but Logitech just didn't have the same one... close, but not the same. I wanted to stay with a bluetooth mouse for my Mac -- so started to read reviews. The Magic Mouse reviews were spotty. So I purchased a low-end Bluetooth mouse for Win and Mac i.e. under $20 -- and it wasn't very good. It worked out of the box -- but it just wouldn't consistently connect. So I returned it and bit the bullet and got the Mac Mouse to try. Yes -- it's slim as many complaints state... and the charging port is on the bottom. But so far -- after a full charge -- and after 12 hour days of use -- it's only down to 89% (at least a week after charging it). No question it takes some getting used to -- but it works as advertised with Macs. And as with Apple products, it's well made. It can be a little sensitive with left and right swipes -- but you adjust to it. So I'm glad I got it ... and if you like using a mouse with a Mac -- I'd say it's worth the extra $'s to get it.

Pricey Mouse - Pradigm shift
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At $80 MSRP this is a very pricey mouse. Build quality is typical Apple however, very very sleek and asthetically pleasing. The mouse has a high quality feel to it as you would expect from Apple. The mouse does require you to change your typical mousing habbits though. If you try to hold this mouse the same way you would hold a more traditional (and larger) mouse you will not like the feel and will most likely end up with your fingers fatiguing very quickly. Rather than grabbing the mouse and manhandling it like most are accostomed to with a larger PC mouse, you just lay your hand across the mouse lightly and glide it around using light finger touches to activate gestures. If your willing to adapt to it, this is a great mouse. If you are stuck in your old ways of mousing, you will hate it.

Nice but overpriced
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I bought my first Mac a few weeks ago, I had originally decided to give the trackpad a fair try so I only bought an eternal CD Drive. But after 3 days I couldn't take it anymore. As nice as the new Trackpad is, I guess I am a mouse person because I just couldn't get it to do what I wanted. Since MacBooks only come with 2 USB ports and I have a history or wearing out USB ports because I remove and insert mice and other peripherals so often I decided that a bluetooth mouse was needed. Ive had a bad experience with the battery life on Microsoft Bluetooth mice in the past so I decided to get the Apple one. The mouse itself works well once you get used to the fact that the whole top is one large button and there is no wheel (the top has trackpad sensitivity). The only negatives are the size, which make it portable but awkward to hold onto (it's too thin), and the fact that they put the Lightening port for charging on the bottom so you can't charge it and use it at the same time. Fortunately it seems to have great battery life.

LOVE THIS LITTLE GUY
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to use with the Magic Keyboard with Number Pad and I love it. simple design but very intuitive. Had to purchase a third party program to be able to use it with my HP OMEN though, hopefully Apple comes out with an update to allow this product to be used across all computer platforms. No charging indicator which kinda sucks and you can't use it while it's charging since the port is underneath the mouse but the battery life is well enough where it isn't a deal breaker.

Magic Mouse 2
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only thing I don’t like is that Apple made the charging port on the bottom, so know off 1 Star. Even though a charge last about two months Now in a Space Gray finish. Magic Mouse 2 is completely rechargeable, so you'll eliminate the use of traditional batteries. It's lighter, has fewer moving parts thanks to its built-in battery and continuous bottom shell, and has an optimized foot design - all helping Magic Mouse 2 track easier and move with less resistance across your desk. And the multi-touch surface allows you to perform simple gestures, such as swiping between web pages and scrolling through documents. Magic Mouse 2 is ready to go right out of the box and pairs automatically with your Mac.

Perfect Mac Mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hesitant to purchase this mouse due to the price. After trying various non apple bands and being very frustrated I bought this mouse. It is very simple to connect. No extra wires or peripherals. The battery lasts very long. I use my computer and mouse daily for work and I charge it occasionally, maybe every two weeks. I don't think that it has ever run below 70% power. I just plug it in at night. I read complaints about the port being on the bottom, just rest the mouse on its side, not a problem. I would highly recommend it

Works GREAT!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse is sleek and light, and has a great battery life. The blue tooth connection works perfectly too and, for those of us who like the left / right clicking, you can do that as well! My ONLY complaint is that it is pricey - but NOT as pricey as the black one which has exactly the same features - the ONLY difference is the color! Apple products are great but their pricing strategy should be changed to reflect the competition and be more consumer friendly!

For those who with the newer MacBooks
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this mouse because I recently purchased a new MacBook without the USB ports, so having this mouse if a huge load off from having to plug it the USB adapter everytime you wanna use the mouse. I don’t give it 5 stars because it can be laggy at times and is a little uncomfortable when you first get used to it. Otherwise it is a great item

Apple Magic Mouse Very Cool
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our home has been nearly all Apple. In addition to the MacBook Pros that four out of five of us now have, plus iPhones all around and a few still functioning iPods, we now have three iMacs that are still running. With all of this Apple experience none of us had ever tried the Magic Mouse. Once you get it set up to optimize all its features and get used to it, it exemplifies the work of Apple's exceptional designers. It does just about everything just with taps and sweeps on the mouse and it doesn't eat a USB port in the process. Cool.

Worth it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When looking for a mouse I considered all options for a Bluetooth mouse. The Apple mouse was a hard pill to swallow because of the price but it is the best mouse for you Apple computer. A less expensive universal mouse will work but because it's not made specifically for your Apple computer so it'll lagg. The Apple mouse does have features they don't advertise but trust me if you hate lagging and resetting everything so that your universal mouse works properly save yourself the frustration by just getting the Apple mouse.
