I did not realize this magic mouse was available. Because you could not use rechargeable batteries, I was using up a lot of batteries in my games. It is fantastic to just plug in this mouse to recharge it!

Still the best mouse if you own a Mac. So easy to use and makes great use of the top of the mouse for scrolling and back. Don’t let the lack of a scroll wheel fool you, the finger scroll is the way to go.

So I Have a MacBookPro and wanted to use a wireless mouse with it. I tried non Apple product Moses and they all did not work well. I decided to try this mouse and what a difference. The mouse works perfect, charges very fast and has so many additional features that you can use with any Apple computer.. yes it is more expensive but you do get what you pay for!! Great product if your an Apple type of person!!!

There is nothing not to like. Some folks knock the fact the charging port is on the bottom but it holds a charge a LONG time...and just charge it at night.i never regret purchasing any apple products...

I had the previous generation mouse and it was great but it needed batteries. This generation mouse has a recharagable battery and makes my life so much easier and I’ll be saving money in the long run.

Great mouse with precision. Excellent battery life as well. The only complaining part is the charging place is underneath making it impossible to use and charge at the same time leading to bad design on that aspect.

I had a bit of a problem with the set-up but Apple Support was quick to put it right with an update to my software. I like that it dosen't need batteries but miss the diode that shows when power is on.

The mouse looks really nice. The touch controls are also really useful. The main problem I have is how fast the mouse moves. It is fine when I make larger mouse movements (like from side to side on the screen), but it really slows down when I go to make smaller precise movements. I know it’s not a problem with my mouse because the ones in the store do the same thing. I’m sure it will become more natural to use as time goes on. The price is also a little expensive. I purchased the space gray model to match my MacBook Pro which has a $20 premium over the silver for some reason.

    Great Apple Mouse

I bought this mouse because I already have Apple Mouse 1 which is powered by internal rechargeable battery. Unbeknownst to me, Apple Mouse 2 has a not removable rechargeable battery, which is OK but when it eventually someday fails to recharge, it will be expensive to replace it by the Apple techs. I am using this mouse for my MS Surface Book and have not figured out yet how to make it scroll up and down like the wheel type mouse. The mouse is very very expensive but it is quality and sleek.

This mouse works great and have gone over a month without recharging yet. Will save lots of batteries. Only complaint is I had to upgrade my OS - a day long ordeal but probably worth it in the end.

I recently bought a new mouse for my Mac. I needed the white one and was not in stock. the black one was about $20 more. was not able to get the black one for the white mouse price. I thought that was not good - wasn't happy but needed the mouse. should have returned when white ones were in stock. sales person didn't know when the white mouses would arrive. that is something I think should be known.

the hard drive on my 18 month old windows 10 laptop died. I have been using a trackball with windows as far back as I could remember. although the trackball does work with my new MacBook Pro, it monopolizes a USB port. I have never been all that great with a track pad. I am still on a learning curve with my MacBook I was having problems with learning all the gestures. I bought this mouse and was up and running in about a minute. it has both scrolling abilities and right click. It is pretty intuitive to learn and use. I have been using it for about a month now, I like it very much. I was a little skeptical of a $100 mouse but I went to the local apple store and tried it out before purchasing from Best Buy. so far a good purchase and as a bonus it comes with a lightening cable, I can never have to many, we are an apple family of multiple apple devices.

Too bad they don't make the replaceable battery model anymore. The recharge port on this one is located on the bottom of the mouse - a very inconvenient place. It makes using the mouse when connected to USB for charging pretty much impossible. I've got 2 of these - one is always plugged into USB for when the other one needs a recharge. Also - it's MAC, which means it's too expensive.

I was a bit concerned, as I read some less-than flattering reviews before replacing my Magic Mouse series 1, which seemed to eat batteries monthly. Couldn't be more pleased with the series 2! In addition to looking great, it responds extremely well and charges in a flash. I normally plug it into my Mac when it is around 50%...back up to over 80% in no time. Love it.

Perfect mouse for a Mac. Maintains the look and feel of coolest. Charges by USB, so more more will I find myself in a location looking for batteries as long as I have my cords--which I always do.

Got two of the mice and now no more batteries to put in. the charge in the mice last far longer that batteries. All you do is plug in the lightning cord and let it charge. So far with a full charge, I am setting at 89% and that has been a week, and I use the mouse daily and most of the day as well. To check how the charge is, go to Settings and click on the mouse, at the bottom it shows how much charge you have left... Worth the money spent on a rechargeable wireless mouse.

As a PC user I'm used to a mouse that right clicks...I haven't figured out how to do things that need to be right clicked on a PC on the MacBook this nifty little mouse is paired with. But the mouse is slick looking - sort of chrome & glass modern, it works well, although it scrolls more like a touchpad than a mouse, still getting used to it. I think it might weigh more than the MacBook ; )
