This mouse works exactly like you think it would for being an Apple magic mouse. I'd really brag on its charging capability- I charged it for a few hours the first day and have not needed to plug it in since (a month later and I still have 50% battery at 2-3 hours average daily use.) Bluetooth connection is without a hiccup and easy to initiate (just plug it in to charge.) Function is intuitive and unique features such as a few gesture controls exist. My only negative to this mouse is the price. At $40-50, this item would be beyond worth it. At $80, one starts to question, "Did I really shell out that much cash for a mouse??" (But yes, of course I did.) I would also be interested to see if the mouse ever gets updated with a version of force touch like the track pad now has.

the mouse goes well with the magic keyboard. it has a built in battery and built with good quality materials. i love that you can recharge the mouse with a lightning cable but one thing i don't like is that you cannot use the mouse while charging it. other than that it glides very smoothly.

Great mouse. Really liked my HP Bluetooth before this but when it got spotty after a few years I decided to go w/ the Apple since I have a MacBook Pro. I’m glad I did. The ability to move left/right in a timeline just by dragging your finger on the mouse is great for audio/video editing (it’s weird at first, but you get used to it fast). If you just want a basic mouse though, you might want to go with something cheaper since it’s the extra functions that make this one worth the money in my books.

I bought this with my new mac. The blue tooth mouse is very easy to setup and use. Just plugged in and it paired. Takes a little gettig use to as it is a little sensative, but works well. Small design and i really like that you do not have to have a seperate device attached to the computer to use it.

I have no issue with the functionality of the mouse. The battery also lasts a long time. My only issue is that it can not be used while being charged. If it dies on you while using it, you will have to let it charge a bit before being able to use it again.

This can be a trap if not used wisely. Sometimes it’s hard to navigate and i keep adjusting it. It is just weird to use some days but once you get the hang of it, it’s nice

Over all this is a great mouse. Easy to use, easy to control, easily connects, wireless. The only reason I give it only 4 stars is because the flat design it a bit uncomfortable for prolonged use.

Along with buying macbook, i bought magic mouse too. Very easy installation. Smooth flow, great quality product. But, its not something you really need in the sense that Macbook touch pads are great to use anyways. It would be more useful for desktop users. Another downside of using it with macbook is that mac touch has tons of gestures and mouse supports few of them. So adaptability is difficult -switching between touchpad and mouse.

I love Apple products. However, Iike many others, I find it so expensive. This magic mouse works well with all Apple devices and can be recharged. However, using this mouse in many hours hurt my fingers so bad.

my original computer mouse died. It was battery powered. Ordered this one as a replacement. It is rechargable and was not immediately comparable with my computer. Called Best Buy for assistance only to be told the stores were closed to repairs and the Geek squad wasn't available for assistance. Ended up calling an individual computer tech to work his magic and get the new mouse to work with my computer/ Mouse is great. Unfortunately I can't saw the same about the customer service I received from the staff at Best Buy.
