Love the magic mouse 2 and have a couple of them for my iMac and MacBook. The only downside is when it needs to be charged there isn't much advance notice and it seems to always happen right in the middle of doing something. I have to stop and give it 30 minutes to charge enough to finish what I'm doing. I guess I could be more diligent and plug it in to charge every few months to make sure we're all good. In fact, as I write this review, I just checked and it's 55% charged so it lasts a long time, just have to remember not to wait too long.

The first one was great so I did not mind making such an expense. The only reason I needed the 2nd was because the first one needed batteries and they exploded inside so I was no longer able to use it. This mouse does not need batteries, instead it is charged which is amazing. Since I purchased it, I have yet to charge it and I use it daily. Great mouse and I can pair it to both computers. If your computer is not updated, the amazing features will not be available. Learned it the hard way.

The Magic Mouse 2 is a wonderful device. It connects quickly to my MacBook Pro and is very smooth in operation. What I like most about the MM2 is the fact that Apple made it rechargeable (unlike the Magic Mouse 1, which I also owned). Also, you don't need a mouse pad in most cases if you're using a smooth desktop surface, as the durable plastic pads on the bottom of the mouse keep it from leaving marks or scuffing the bottom of the product. The new swipe functionality is neat, especially for quickly archiving/deleting list items in email, reminders, etc. Overall, I gave it 5 stars. I love it!

After using a wireless mouse, you will never go back to a conventional wired mouse again! With the gestures, if you can figure them out, this little piece is pretty impressive. Altough in my opinion it could be quite a bit cheaper...

Great battery life. Synced right up to my mac book pro. I have not had any issues with this mouse since my purchase.

Apple always makes top quality aesthetically pleasing devices and this is no exception. i would recommend using even on windows platform.

Love my Apple Mac Mouse...long battery life...Sensitive touch for gestures to Mouse to complete ether task you request for example to zoom in or out hold down the control key with the flick of your finger you can scroll up and down or if you want to go from the left side of the page to the right side while the screen zoom out with ease...love my Mouse and have been using it now for two years or so...still working as if i just took it out of the package... You will not regretting for purchasing this dynamic Mouse... Thank you Apple

The product works well and as it was designed to do. It is a bit inconvenient when you have to charge it based on the location of the port (under the mouse)

You might say why so expensive? Doesn't matter, this little mouse packs a punch with features. I love the touch pad for swiping through windows/apps/web surfing. Many people laughed at the charger being underneath, but theres's a reason for that. The battery is so darn good, I've only had to charge once in the last month since purchasing. Only negative for me is its a touch small if you have big hands, but still comfy and contours nicely. Get it!

first time mac buyer here and love the trackpad. However, I need a mouse. So, got this one. boy am I happy I bought this one. I configured the right click as I am used to in the windows environment, but there are so many other things you can do with this mouse. Great buy.

It works like an apple mouse should. It has a built in battery so just recharge it after a few months of use. Bad part: it costs like 6x what a mouse should cost.

I am using this mouse to supplement the fingerpad on my Macbook Pro. The mouse works really well, smooth and great battery life!

This wireless mouse with a built in battery not only works great but keeps running after the 'Energizer Bunny' stops marching with its drum.

Works as expected, batteries last long and being rechargeable is a plus just a bit pricey as all of Apples products.
