I have the version 1 of this mouse and it is still mousing around. This 2nd generation looks and functions just like the old one. The physical difference that you can see is on the bottom. Of course, this 2nd gen now has rechargeable batteries built in so it has a lighting cable port on the bottom. It comes with a lightning to USB cable. It automatically pairs with your Mac when you connect with the lightning cable... so easy and "it just works". Works with finger gestures.

What can you say about an Apple product but...great! It works, you can set your own preferences, etc. The only thing I would change about it is the clicking noise, but now that I have gotten used to it, it doesn't bother me. I do think the charging input should be located other than under the device since it would mean you cannot plug it in and use it at the same time. Otherwise, it's great.

This looks great with my new MacBook Pro! Matches perfectly! Moves pretty smoothly, as well.

I really like the fact that batteries aren't needed and it actually holds a charge for quite some time. When you do have to charge it, it doesn't take much time. The only issue I have is that it doesn't like some surfaces, namely something with a felt or fabric material like on a computer lap top tray. Over all, it's a great product. Blue tooth hooks up quickly.

This mouse is so smoothe and easy to use. Love the fact that you don't have to worry about having batteries to charge.

I think it is a good mouse but I returned it for the Logitech MX Master 2s mouse. I'm used to a higher DPI setting and mouse speed and with the mouse speed turned all the way up it's just not fast enough for me. Other than that it is a good mouse.

Awesome wireless mouse that provides ease of use and a good battery life.

This is an updated version. No batteries needed! That's a plus, by you have to make sure its charged or it's useless. You can't use it while charging so beware. Great product regardless and I recommend it.

Major upgrade over the old AA battery version. We were going through a set of batteries every couple of weeks. This thing goes for a month on a charge. Easy to set up and pair with your laptop using the included charging cable. The charging port is located on the bottom of the device so no charging while in use. Other than that a great mouse.

Looks sleek, works great, and does cool stuff. You can enable right clicking and the mouse knows what side you click. You can swipe your finger both up/down & left/right to scroll. Really neat product.
