A multi-touch enabled mouse is almost literally magical. Being able to switch between full screen apps, navigate forward and backward, and page zoom without having to move the mouse is so much easier and saves so much time. This, combined with the slim profile, puts the wrist in a more ergonomic position and actually reduces wrist strain. My only complaint is battery life. There is nothing magic about 5 to 6 weeks of life out of two AA batteries.

It adjust to your speed needs. It moves fast if it is required and it moves slow if you move it slow to better target where you need to click. It's like you are telling it how to move.

I previously have the magic mouse 1, and loved all the features, but got tired of batteries dying and my workday coming to a screeching halt until I could find some replacements. I had been considering an upgrade to the magic mouse 2, it when the black version came out, it sold me. Not only does it look awesome, but no one in the office can steal it! Battery life is going on almost 2 months of daily use without charging! My only complaint is that there is no status light to tell you when its on/off/charged/connected/pairing...you don't know if its low or connected until the computer notifies you.

The apple magic mouse II is a great buy. I've used many of them before and the new one is even better because it has an internal battery so you just charge it with a lightning charger.

I would buy this apple mouse if I were you. Easy to use easy to connect. And way easier than having to use the trackpad in my honest opinion and battery life lasts a pretty long time!

Have used for 10days. Battery dropped from from 87% to 65 %. So charging won't be an issue. Lots of people complain about the anti-ergonomic design, I didn't feel tired after whole day of using. One thing should point out is that, it supports scrolling not only in the middle area of the mouse but also whole area of its top by all direction, it is a cool feature. But sometimes it's hard to click exactly you want as you always slightly move you finger when you click which could be recognized as a scroll gesture. For three finger look up, still trying to find a software resolution.

This mouse is great! It took a little getting use to as it takes a little more pressure than my normal wireless mouse; however, once I got use to the pressure and movements, it works flawlessly. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. I've had it for 1 month now, so we will see if it lasts longer than a year......my last mouse, the insignia for Mac only lasted for 7 months before the scroll stopped working.

This new Apple mouse it T-e-r-r-i-f-i-c as Tony the Tiger would say. It doesn't need a mouse pad (mines dirty, yuck), It doesn't need batteries! (It charges with a USB cord connected to the Computer, but only every 3-4months. It's sleeker, lighter and faster than my old Apple Mouse and comes in white and black! It's worth the price.
