The Magic Mouse 2 is a beautifully crafted mouse (we should expect nothing less than apple). I love the gesture support that allows you to use the mouse in a way that's similar to a track pad. One glaring issue, however, is that the charging port is located on the bottom of the mouse - this means you cannot simultaneously use and charge the mouse. It's not the end of the world, but it is certainly an odd design choice from a company that prides itself of making things "just work."

Sleek and easy to use. Make sure to charge it occasionally so it doesn’t die on you in the middle of your work.

No more cords!!! I can't remember when I recharged my mouse, so I guess I should do it soon. I'd read complaints about having to charge it and don't see an issue. I use my computer and mouse several times every day. It's been probably at least 3 wks since recharging. Just do it at night. First mouse w/out a cord. using a mouse and keyboard is so much faster than scrolling!!

The overall sound and options on this unit is far superior than the price would suggest. The Dolby Atmos sound is incredible even with older speakers.

No one makes a more beautiful mouse than the Magic Mouse. The current version is rechargeable, and that is a great advance over the older version. But, and this is a big but, the placement of the recharge connector on the underside means that you can't use the mouse when you're recharging! Mind you, I can't see where else they could have positioned the recharge connector, but that doesn't change the fact that you can't use it when it's recharging. And that is a minus of one star from my rating.

I felt that it would be sensible to get the Magic Mouse with my new Apple computer. It did take a couple of minutes to get used to some of the differences in it from the other 'mouse' but I and very happy with it. It's easy on the hand and wrist - and, as a plus, it's very sleek and attractive. Would definitely suggest you get this,

High End Mouse that's Worth It

This mouse is certainly expensive but the features it has and the ease of use is well worth it. The mouse is accurate and stays well connected. The rechargeable battery is nice and it includes a lightning cable for charging which is always handy. The one downfall is you can't use the mouse while charging. So you need to keep an eye on your battery charge or have a backup mouse on hand.

Not much to say other than it's a wireless mouse that works with Apple. Price is a bit ridiculous so if you don't mind using keypad I would save the $80!

Not compatible with OS below El Capitan

You must have El Capitan and above to use this mouse. I gave this to my daughter since she has El Capitan. I am back to using an old magic mouse because I cannot upgrade my OS until I know that my apps and plugins will work with Sierra. Anyway, it is a great mouse with a long lasting battery. My daughter gives it heavy use so she doesn't have to worry about running to the battery charger every few days. Unfortunately, the lack of backward compatibility means that many MAC users cannot use this mouse. I can only recommend it to those who are able to upgrade their OS.

Great addition to my MacBook. It is lightweight, compact, and glides easily. I love this mouse compared to those with a "tail" or those used with Microsoft products.

    A Better Mouse

I have had a Mac for many years and I used the Magic Mouse (1) and loved it. My only complaint was it was battery powered and it would get annoying replacing batteries (I did use rechargeable ones, but eventually even they wear out). So, after my spouse finally bought a Mac with the Magic Mouse 2, I replaced my old Mouse with the newer version. I love it and it currently rarely need recharging.

I purchased this product to go with my MacBook pro. Was hesitant because prior to this I used the surface mouse for my surface book, and thought no other mouse could compare. I was wrong. It is comfortable and ergonomic. The battery on this thing last for weeks. I use my mouse daily for a few hours a day. I have only had to charge it once. I really like the gestures and the hepatic feedback.

Replace old Apple mouse and it was so worth it. The new batteries last for over a month with daily use. About two hours a day. The charger connection is on the bottom, but it doesn't bother me. When the batter shows low, I plug it in at night and let it charge when not in use. It charges really fast when it does need charged.

I was at first not sure if I needed a mouse for my 16 inch MacBook Pro but decided why not try it. I have come to enjoy the concept of the mouse and it just feels as natural as the trackpad as you can use the same gestures like trackpad and so far the battery life has been excellent.

This product is simply amazing! The battery life is outstanding, I use it all day for weeks without charging. The features are just as great, double finger tap zoom, swipe left or right to scroll pages and many more. Slim design makes it store in a bag or briefcase easily and the on/off button on the bottom makes it so holding a button down while traveling is a great feature.
