I owned several Magic mice before. All were the older replacable battery operated models. I was reluctant to go with the newer lithium battery ones the idea of running out of battery was not very appealing. I had no choice as one of my Magic mice stopped working. Boy I am pleased. I have been using it (extensively) for a month now on the first charge, and still have 41% left. Responsiveness and the 'click' feels nicer than the older model.

Typical Apple quality and aesthetic appeal, but a little small for my hand. The integrated trackpad features are very handy.

What can I say... it's a mouse and it works fine. My other older one was messing up and I needed a new one. My review title refers to something I used to tease my old boss about: at times, he knew nothing about computers, even though he used one often as part of his business. When he would ask a silly question, I would say, "What's a mouse?" meaning that he didn't even know what it was. Sigh. Good times. Oh, yeah... we worked there, too.

Although the overall look of the mouse seems quite simple, you are able to set up some pretty cool features within system preferences on MacOS. the touch surface used to scroll on the mouse can also be used to produce trackpad-like features such as double tapping with 2 fingers to open launchpad, swiping with one finger between tabs as well as swiping with 2 fingers between desktops. The battery life is great and should last more than a month under typical usage. If the battery does happen to run low no worries as only 2 minutes of charging gets you 9 hours of usage. I really love the integration and features this mouse offers within MacOS.

Hoping Apple will change where the charging port is but overall great . It takes a minute to connect to my Mac mini.

I put alot of thought into buying this considering the price tag. I went ahead and spent the extra cash to get it, and I surely was not disappointed.

if you own a mac you must have the mouse my kiddos love the charging ability as it’s the same cord as their iphone

Great addition to my MacBook Air. My daughter needed this for school and she was able to add it to her computer with no problems.
