I spent thousands on computer equipment and peripheral devices. In addition, I bought a Microsoft personal 365 license that did not work. See attached response that I received from the office of the president. What a ridiculous waste of time to even write back to me.

This mouse is not easy to use, dies quickly, and works very finickily. I would absolutely go with another option.

Connects easily and I like the way that your finger movements on the mouse control it similar to the trackpad. It is a little slow to respond and not the most comfortable, you essentially use your fingertips with no way to rest the palm of your hand. I prefer my MX Master 3 that I use with my desktop, but I will continue to use this apple mouse with my MacBook because I’m too proud to return it. This mouse is suitable if you are not using it 8+ hours a day.

The perfect upgrade for my music studio. I have a Mac computer and the Magic Mouse integrates perfectly into my workflow. It frees up a USB port, solves those little glitches I occasionally experienced, and no more batteries. Yes, the Magic Mouse is rechargeable. Definitely a well worthy investment.

Initial Inquiry & Decision: Seeking a wireless mouse optimized for Mac, I chose the Apple Magic Mouse for its seamless connectivity, clean design, and reputation for long battery life. Unboxing, Build Quality, & Testing: The Magic Mouse delivers a smooth, touch-sensitive experience with intuitive multi-touch gestures perfect for navigating macOS features like full-screen apps. Its wireless design pairs automatically with a Mac out of the box. The included woven USB-C to Lightning cable enables easy charging and pairing via USB-C, though the charging port on the bottom means it can’t be used while charging. Battery life is impressive, lasting about a month or more between charges even with heavy usage. The mouse feels lightweight and sleek, making it comfortable for users with small to medium hands, but less so for those with larger hands or longer fingers due to minimal ergonomic contouring. Overall Impressions and Recommendation: The Apple Magic Mouse offers excellent integration with Apple products, reliable long battery life, and convenient multi-touch gestures. While it may have a minor ergonomic drawback for some users and the charging port placement is less than ideal, it remains a highly recommended accessory for Mac users who prioritize style and seamless functionality.Title: Sleek, Functional Apple Magic Mouse (Lightning Port) with Long Battery Life

Its Multi-Touch surface enables gestures like webpage swiping and document scrolling. The rechargeable battery provides over a month of usage between charges, and the mouse effortlessly pairs with your Mac out of the box. It also includes a woven USB-C to Lightning Cable for convenient pairing and charging through a USB-C port on your Mac.

great quality, feels solid in your hand. super long battery life, i can get nearly 2 months out of the battery depending on usage. not sure why they didn't include a wheel in the middle. bonehead move by apple in my view, and for what it is, it's expensive, but that's classic of apple products. had it for 6 months, still performing great. i love the fact no batteries to change and lasts a long time between charges.

Here’s a review for a wireless rechargeable mouse compatible with an Apple iMac: Review: Wireless Rechargeable Mouse for Apple iMac If you’re looking for a reliable, wireless rechargeable mouse for your Apple iMac, there are plenty of options available, but finding one that seamlessly integrates with macOS while providing excellent performance can be tricky. Design & Build Quality Most wireless rechargeable mice designed for the iMac focus on sleek aesthetics to match Apple’s minimalist style. The best options feature an aluminum or matte plastic body, offering a comfortable and ergonomic grip. Unlike Apple’s Magic Mouse, which has a low-profile design that some users find uncomfortable, third-party alternatives often provide a more traditional, contoured shape for better hand support. Connectivity & Performance A good iMac-compatible mouse connects via Bluetooth, ensuring a cable-free experience. Look for models with stable Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, as this minimizes lag and interference. Some mice also include a USB-C or USB-A dongle for an additional connection option, though Bluetooth remains the preferred method for Mac users. Performance-wise, premium rechargeable mice come with high-DPI optical sensors that provide smooth and precise tracking across different surfaces. Whether you’re using it for everyday tasks, creative work, or light gaming, a mouse with adjustable DPI settings (typically ranging from 800 to 4000 DPI) ensures flexibility. Rechargeability & Battery Life One major advantage of a rechargeable wireless mouse is the elimination of disposable batteries. The best models feature built-in lithium-ion batteries that last anywhere from two weeks to a month on a full charge, depending on usage. USB-C charging is ideal, as it allows for fast recharging—often providing hours of use with just a few minutes of charging.

    Apple's Magic Mouse

I got this wireless mouse for my desktop setup. I am in grad school so having a reliable mouse is important for me. So far, I like this mouse. I will agree with others that the scrolling is a big different compared to the other wireless mouses. You have to scroll in the middle of the mouse in order for it to use. It is pretty simple to use after a week or so. It easily connects to my MacBook Pro.
