This is the standard Apple adapter, and there are lots of places that highlight the good and bad of these products. They've come a long way in material development since the original versions, but Apple has always done a great job of creating self-contained, efficient AC adaptors, and this is a key Apple differentiator from their competition, which are still using the two-piece long brick adapters after all these years. My only subtle complaint is that the cord, made of dirt-grabbing rubber, is white, as is the brick itself and the optional extension cord. Using Black or offering color choices would add to Apple's aesthetic without sacrificing their clean design. Even a silver/dark gray brick with black cabling would match their design of the hardware well. All in all, my favorite AC adapter style, and the "standard" by which I hold all other hardware manufacturers... Not that any have come close to this simplicity. Of particular note is the "duck head" or extension cord option, allowing you to swap the extra 1m/3ft cable with a simple plug head that lets you put the brick directly into the wall. This is also IMMENSELY useful when traveling internationally, as you can swap cords/heads for the region you're visiting.

Great product! So glad that I was able to still purchase this considering the laptop is a 2012.

I wish there was a Best Buy closer, but when you live in the sticks, not every wish will come true. I walked into the store, walked in to the Apple section, located the accessories and selected the proper model. Paid, left the store and everything has been fine. It works exactly as expected. The best kind of service.

The design is perfect and the charge is quick. This purchase was a replacement due to my puppy chewing through the thinnest part of the cord. The chewed cord was an original from 2013 MacBook Pro purchase and functioned perfectly. These apple battery chargers last forever.

When your puppy chews through your MacBook power cord, you don't know whether to be mad at them for basically chewing a hole in your pocket or happy they didn't electrocute themselves. In any case, I went the happy route, bought this replacement cord (which has thus far escaped being terrorized by the puppy) and it works like a charm.

My daughter's roommate lost her Apple charger for her Macbook, so she tried to save $ and bought an off brand version of the charger online. It hardly worked and took hours to charge her laptop. We have since thrown it away, and bought this authentic Apple charger. It is absolutely worth the difference in price to buy the Apple product.

The Apple MagSafe 60w power adapter appears to power and charge my MacBook Air just fine and there appear to be no issues whatever. I bought this to replace the originally supplied adapter that had become frayed and worn out and as a result it stopped charging my Air all together. This product seems to work just fine. Good purchase.

I love that the adapter included the "extension" cord. The reason for purchase was because the cable on my charger, that came included with my Macbook Pro, frayed. This adapter really comes in handy when a wall outlet is a few feet farther than the actually length of the charger itself. It works fantastic with my 13 in. Macbook Pro

Bought for my daughter who needed this power unit in the worst way. She is a nurse of 25 years and her dog chewed on the previous charger line. MURRIETA had the unit and it was out to work immediately. Daughter happy, very happy! Dad too!!

This is my 2nd purchase of a Macbook pro charger. My first purchase I made was a replacement to the original one and it was from an off-brand manufacturer. It only lasted for about 3-4 months. This charger has worked great so far and I am confident it will last for at least 2-3 years more without any issues.

Purchased the Apple MagSafe power adapter for my 5 year old tablet because I wanted a quality project, it’s the correct power provider for the tablet, don’t buy anything else if you want to be hassle free of future failure, thanks Apple. Extremely glad I spent the money for the right product

If you're a Macbook user, you've probably been used to the MagSafe adapters. Not much to say about it. It has the power brick and the optional extension cord included. The MagSafe plug is great since you can pull and tug on it with no worries. It's overpriced, but all Apple stuff is. You can't beat 1st party adapters usually.

This is the standard power adapter you get when you buy a MacBook new. The quality is still the great Apple quality you would expect. The original one lasted four years with constant daily use at college so I bought this one to replace it. Make sure you buy the one specific for your MacBook when you purchase one.

This is the third power supply my 2011 MacBook Air has needed, so I don't think the reliability on these things is optimal, but due to the proprietary interface, this is the only replacement you can get. It works well, and the MagSafe connection is great (just as it was on the original). Four out of five due to the cost and lack of third-party vendors that might bring the cost down, but it is otherwise a good product.

It's convenient for keeping your Macbook alive. I wish it was cheaper but the quality pretty much pays for itself. The extension cord is a nice touch for more room to roam. I would just be careful for the charging port and to position the Macbook so the cord would not bend in a way that would make it rip.

My first charger broke after having it for a little over a year and a half. I'm hoping I can get this one to last longer. I wasn't that excited about the price (because I'm just a college student - hardly much means of income), but if I can get this charger to last at least two years it will definitely be worth it.

The longer cord is nice. Seems to be more durable.
