If you lose your power supply ... you buy another! There is nothing "sexy" about this but Best Buy delivers with OEM gear, reasonable price (all things considered) and friendly customer service. Appreciated the team making sure we bought the right replacement for our older MacBook Pro.

I've had a MacBook for several years now and I'm still in love with how cool and advanced the Apple charger is. Once mine broke, after 5 years, I just got another. For a charger to last that long is incredible. Now if only they can make the iphone charger last that long.

Although the power cord is rather expensive, it is exactly what I needed and works perfectly. I really wish that this product was sold in 2 separate pieces. I didn't need the AC power cord/converter block part, I only needed the magnetic portion of the 2 pieces.

I have to replace my Mac power cord every other year due to the cord fraying where it connects to the square battery. The battery pack gets very hot and I think this contributes to the disintegration of the cord at that spot. Very expensive cord and disappointing that it needs to be replaced so often. Totally worth it though as I LOVE my macbook pro.

This is apple's original MagSafe adapter with the extension plug included. Like everyone that owns a MacBook wrapped my original wire around the hooks as it is designed and that assisted in shortening the life of the chord (never wrap it, simply put it away),then I ordered one from OWC, the first one they sent would only charge while the Mac was logged on and would show the green light when closed, after sending it back for an exchange, the second on did the same thing and then stop working all together I only will buy batteries and ssd drives from OWC, do not buy any wires period). Now as far as this purchased, this is the real deal and works as it should (my Mac actually thanked me lol, it is expensive ,costing the same as you would pay at the apple store (that's why I chose Bestbuy ,they are closer to where I live than apple.I'm going to rate this four stars because it will deteriorate over time.

It worked. I had long ago lost mine that came with the MacBook, The salesperson in the Apple area knew exactly what I needed and found it for me.

The item works great and charges my laptop fast! I just think the price should be atleast half.

I had purchased a cheap charger via amazon prior to getting this one because I wanted to save money. The amazon one overheated and made me afraid to use my laptop, so I threw it away and got this one. It's perfect and works really well! I have no complaints!

It replaces one I've had for 10 years. I am very pleased with it.

I bought a knock-off charger online by accident and it died within a month due to overheating and manufacturing error. This time, I went directly to the store and bought the certified charger. Needless to say, it works perfectly. Would definitely recommend.

So my charger had finally broken after having it for 5 years. I needed to get a new one and even though this one was expensive I knew it would work better than any off brand one. It works perfect and I hope I don't have to get another one for a long time!

I've gone through two chargers in the four years I've owned my macbook. Apple really needs to do a better job with the design and durability of these charges, especially where the thin cord attaches to the block. But, I do have to say that the magnet attachment has saved my bacon on a couple of occasions and I'm generally happy with the charger.

Had to purchase this item because the original power adapter died. My original power adapter lasted 5 years - not bad, would have been nice if it lasted longer. Additionally, Apple needs to reduce the cord's tendency to fray around the base of the magnetic connecter for the laptop. Overall, the power adapter is pretty rugged.

Great replacement. I prefer to use apple products. I love how easy it is to attach to charge.

Still really expensive (this is my 3rd charger since I've had the laptop which was purchased back in 2015) but it does the job. Seems to be sturdier than my previous ones.

This model seems to charge my MacBook a lot faster then original charger. But be certain you purchase the correct charger! Different models take different chargers even if they are both MacBooks. Apple should have standardized this but haven't to date.

I bought this charger after trying 2 different chargers from Amazon over 2 years and both were burnt quickly, i love this charger as it is good quality, i hope it will last longer than 2 years
