I have two adapters break at he same place : right where the wire connects to the rectangle connection to the laptop. Apple corrected the form of the connector and reinforces the wire. Bravo!!

Apple has great product design. The mag safe attachment creates a very safe connection that prevents electronics from being pulled off a desk/table/chair accidentally. We purchased this to replace the original cord as it failed. I have another MacBook that has had its original cord in use for more than twice as long as this one.

I love my Mac charger, especially once I've wrapped the top in electric tape, this helps to kept from fraying. I bought it as a replacement for my last Mac Charger which lasted through 4 years of heavy wear. It works great.

It works great! This is a replacement charger for me and I am glad I can still use my old computer that has a cd drive. A little pricey though but, excellent qualilty overall.

A Mac is not too convenient without a charge and thats exactly what happened to me! It was great to have a local option to immediately replace my original charger with a new one. Tech checked my old one and pronounced it dead.

Even though I ENTIRELY believe this is the worst Apple product ever created, the one I just bought seems to have more stiffness/ a thicker chord. I had only had my previous charger for about 1.5 years before it got a short in it. So far this charger seems to hold up better than the one I had before. Crossing my fingers.

My original charger stopped working. I decided to go with an open box. Item worked perfectly, no issues. Not to mention I saved additional money for purchasing as an open box. All items were in tact and not used.

I purchases this as a replacement charger for my MacBook and it worked great! Just make sure you get the right adapter ideal for your MacBook as they are slightly different. Anyways, No issues whatsoever.

Works great. I like that you can make it longer or shorter based on your needs without having a lot of extra cord laying around. The magnetic connector and indicator light is really cool. It just works like everything else Apple.

Power adapter can be setup easy for use anywhere in the house. This purchase was a "spare" adapter since i also have a "docking" station setup for my laptop, but also wanted to be able to sit on the sofa and use my laptop in the evenings.

Had to buy a replacement because my dog chewed through my original. Initially bought a cheap oem charger off Amazon . That cord didn't last 6 months. Lesson learned stayed with Apple products, the knock offs are you get what you pay for

This MagSafe 60W charger for my MacBook Pro works great. The old one finally stopped working after years of good use and this replacement should keep my MacBook going for years to come.

It’s the same charger that came with your MacBook. Is it a rip off? Yes. Do I need it? Yes. Will I buy a knock-off for half the price? Nope. Thanks for being there when I need you Best Buy. Suck one Apple for ripping me off.

Saved the day. On vacation and the nearest Apple Store was in the next state. The Best Buy Store had the power cord needed for the 6 year old laptop and it worked beautifully after a charge. The staff was very helpful in figuring out which cord was needed , then checking to make sure the laptop would accept the charge before we left the Savannah Best Buy Store.

This is the first replacement I've had to get in 3 years! Apple makes great products. The price may seem steep, but it's usually because you don't have to buy another charger or whatever you're getting for a long time. :)

I've had my Mac since 2011 and the charger that it came with still works up to this day. I bought an additional charger because I travel a lot between my dorm and hometown and I would often forget the charger.

I broke my old Apple laptop charger and was afraid they didn’t carry these anymore since it’s an older laptop and the chargers are different now. However, they still had them and works great!

This is the replacement adapter for the 2008 aluminum edition MacBook. It's a nice improvement with a side mag connector. The original adapter is a t-adapter and it broke over the years. This one should last much longer.
