Fast original Apple charger for your MacBook yours is broken.

Before I bought this OEM Apple charger, I tried "saving money" by buying a cheap knock-off replacement online. That one looked like the real deal, but it came in odd packaging and had a horrible plastic smell. It eventually got so hot I'm surprised the plastic didn't melt. Afraid it was a potential fire hazard, I stopped leaving it plugged it when I wasn't around, but then got tired of having to always think about it. Then, I picked up this one at my local Best Buy, and it's definitely the real deal. Works exactly as expected. Smells normal. Although it gets a little warm, it never gets anywhere near as hot as the fake/knock-off version I had "saved" money on before. Obviously, I didn't save money at all! So don't do what I did. Get this one, and you won't have to think about it again.

Bought this to replace the existing power adapter I had because of frayed wire and it works just as well as I expected!

This charger works great. Just like the original charger that came with my computer originally. The original one lasted almost seven years, so I expect to get the same service from this one.

I was in a crunch and of course by best buy geek squad warranty ended the month right before my cord broke. Just stopped working. SO, for ease I went to BB and purchased. more expensive than I wanted but my computer works now.

It worked on my 2013 MacBook Air. I thought it would be too powerful for my laptop, I've read some blogs before buying it and so far it works.

I left my charger in one of my college classes on accident and of course it was gone when i went to retrieve it. So i had to buy a new one. Does what it is suppose to do I am happy. Could be a little cheaper but oh well.

After replacing my original 2010 13" macbook pro charger with one from amazon (fake apple?) that lasted exactly 1 week I figured I should just buy the real deal from apple. This charger works great and does not get hot like the cheap ones. I am still concerned with the durability but what can you do...

My charger went out a few weeks ago and I frantically ran into Best Buy hoping they could tell me if it was my laptop or charger...thankfully it was my charger and I purchased this product and have no complaints!

I just purchased this USB adaptor & this time I made sure it was an Apple. Last time I needed an extra I got a "generic" item. It was a mistake. The only thing about this one is it seems to get hot quickly. Also, as usual, the people @ Geek Squad were very helpful.

It was great! Lost my old charger and was afraid I wasn't going to be able to find a new one. This one worked perfect!

My husband needed a new charger it works great buying online and picking up in the store is great we always use best buy for our electronic needs

I now have 2 plugs one at home and one at work - so I do not have to carry charger around - it appears to be a better plug then the original … just improved over-time I am sure the new computers come with this one ;-) enjoy.

My dog ate our old plug and bought this! Exact same charger and glad they had it in stock with all this distance learning we needed it same day

I am very happy with power adapter. Apple manufactures high quality products. Their peripheral accessories such as these cords work flawlessly. Recommend.

Aside from the coolness of Apple design, it works exactly as it should. The magnetic connector attaches perfectly each time without using force, and the adapter does not build up excess heat, as some are prone to do.

Granddaughter needed a replacement adapter for MacBook. Checked Amazon and was skeptical about purchasing any adapter. Best Buy carries the best products. Always happy with my purchase.

This is exactly the same as the one that came with the Mac Book Pro I bought new. Works flawlessly. As with all Apple stuff, over priced IMO

Thought it was my laptop! Guys at geek squad helped me and just plugged up the charger and it worked instantly! Save me $1,300 on a new macbook!

The original charger my 2012 MacBook Pro came with just gave out after multiple uses. Very durable charger
