Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the MagSafe Battery Pack's extended battery life and ease of use, praising its compact size and convenient magnetic attachment. While some find the price high, many appreciate the lightweight design and strong magnets. A few users noted occasional overheating, but this was not a widespread concern.

We bought this, it is Apple which means expensive. This is very handy and convenient. This is a must have if you use your phone a bunch.

I have had this battery pack for a few years, and it still works great for me. I love the fact that it's small and I can monitor the battery level of the battery pack on my iPhone (I am not aware of any 3rd-party battery packs that have this feature). So I was disappointed when Apple discontinued this product. I wish they had updated with a new version that uses a USB-C charging port instead of a Lightning port. If they had made that one update, this would still be a great product that I would recommend to all of my friends.

Doesn’t seem to have the power to charge a dead phone to full capacity but when your in a pinch this thing is handy. Uses same charging cable, attaches easily to the phone and not very heavy. When using the phone with it attached you barely notice it’s there. Overall a good buy.

Best charger for Andy apple device. Works great and holds a good charge too. It’s overpriced but anything apple sells is overpriced.

Easy to use. Thin form factor. The only real problem with this is that it won't charge my iPhone 100%. But it is very convenient to use. I have an off brand version of this and it will charge my iPhone 100% but it is very difficult to turn on. So I like the Apple version better.

Works great just make sure to charge it for 17 hours when you first open it . Only dislike about it is that it only charges the phone to 99 percent and not 100 I’m not sure the reason for that . Would also be nice if it came in different colors other than white but it is a very nice charger for iPhone and AirPods if you take public transportation or work a job where electric sockets aren’t available to you .

If this is used as intended (as a battery pack and not a charger) this works great! Slap this on the back of your phone at the start of a long day where you won't be near a charger. With average phone usage on my iPhone 14Plus I have 70-80% battery on my phone left at bed time. The battery pack will be dead but it will have served its purpose. Then just use this as your magsafe charger overnight and both will be charged and ready to go the next day. Great for theme park trips.

A bit pricey, but really the best companion. It will give you about a 75% or so charge and sits nicely below the camera on the iPhone 14 which is a mark different than some of the other competing models. For me, I like the security, slim form factor, fact I can use a single cable to charge both the battery and the phone at the same time at a decent but premium price point makes it a winner. I recommend waiting for it to go on sale at sometimes does the 79.99.

I tried it for a few days. I am aware it’s not a charger but a battery extender. That means you have to keep this white backpack on your phone for a long time because folks this charges the phone really slow and if your using the phone while it’s on the back of the phone then the battery level will go down, not up. It will go up if your not using the phone and the screen is off but very slowly. I really really wanted to like this. I was so excited about this product but it is definitely not for everyone. I am sticking to my USB-C Anker Wired’s fast charger with power delivery. Why you ask? Because I can connect it to my iPhone and in 30 min my iPhone percentage will go up between 45 snd 50 percent. Who doesn’t have 30 min to let their phone charge and if I’m using it then it will still go up. Get the Anker USB-C to lightning cable the nylon one. It’s great. Here is the battery I recommend. It has power delivery so it can charge your phone at 18W. The MagSafe battery pack charges at 5v and many times it doesn’t charge to protect the iPhone battery from heat or it will charge slower to prevent it from heating up. It’s not wireless Anker PowerCore 10000 PD Redux, 10000mAh Portable Charger USB-C Power Delivery (18W) Power Bank for iPhone 11/12 / Mini/Pro/Pro Max / 8 / X/XS Samsung S10, Pixel 3/3XL, iPad Pro 2018, and More Also, this battery gives off a ton of EM radiation that can be harmful. See below. This was from the paperwork that nobody reads from the inside of the Apple MagSafe battery pack box. So based on this you should not have the battery closer than 8 inches so you don’t get exposure to the EM. It says this. I am not making this up. Read the paper that came in the Apple MagSafe battery box. It writes Exposure to Radio Frequency Energy The radiated output power of the MagSafe Battery Pack meets applicable radio frequency exposure limits. The MagSafe Battery Pack should be operated with a minimum separation distance of 20 cm (8 inches) between the MagSafe Battery Pack, or any devices on the MagSafe Battery Pack, and a person's body.

I bought this on my way to a conference where participants would be using our phones to respond to presentations and polls. It worked perfectly - when my iPhone 13 mini got down to 25 or 30% battery I slapped it onto the back of the phone (MagSafe case) and the charger brought the phone up past 90% in not much time. Now I carry it in my bag daily, even though I rarely need it. Nice to know I’ve got an extra charge or two ready if I ever run low.
