Yes this is expensive (Apple after all), is a but heavy, and only gets you about 80-85% battery (which it does mention in the description); but many reviewers gave it low reviews because it did not work with their non-Magsafe case. Of course it isn’t going to work or work as well. I’m not sure why some people think they can have an extremely thick Otterbox case that is not Magsafe compatible and expect it to work! So yeah, make sure you have a Magsafe case but expect it this it be heavy and pricey.

Nice battery for extra boost!

Since most things are done on their app now it can be a huge battery drain. Attached the MagSafe battery in the morning around 7 am and made it through the park closing without having to recharge. It worked well using it this way for me rather than draining the phone battery and then trying to recharge it. The battery will get warmer if you drain & recharge rather than having it attached until the MagSafe battery is discharged but it never got hot which was a plus for me. Either way it worked well and served its purpose.
