I bought this and the morphine MagSafe battery pack. I thought I’d like the morphine better but I found myself using the Apple battery more often. It’s not going to give you a quick charge but it is nice to have to extend your battery life when out on a hike. I also thought I’d use the usb-c port on the morphie to charge other devices but I never did and I found it nice that I could charge this device with my lighting cables.

It will put a good charge on your phone if you are not using it. It doesn’t make my phone hot like other chargers.
