This is an absolute necessity for anyone who uses their laptop to give presentations. Since the newer Macbook Pros only have HDMI ports and lightning ports and most places still use VGA for connecting to projectors, this is something I've started carrying with me everywhere. The only problem is that it doesn't have a location device in for in case you lose it (I lost the last one I purchased).

Over the years, I have purchased several knockoffs, and have learned, mostly the hard way, that for a little extra money, you just get a quality, long lasting product.

More than I expected to spend but I should have known an Apple product would be that way! That said - made set-up a breeze. Connected it and my monitor was up in seconds.

Needed to replace an off-brand adapter that began falling apart. This is made very well and will last a long time. I use this to connect a VGA cord from another monitor to my iMac. I also unplug it from my iMac from time to time and plug it into my Surface Pro. I needed something to hold up for the switching back and forth and this should do the trick.

When you want the best Apple peripherals, buy Apple Brand. This worked flawlessly (my friend had a third party brand and it didn't work, hence why I picked this up).

I have the Macbook Pro and I wanted to hook up two screens with vga but I only had one fire wire cable. This works in addition to a USB to vga for my second screen.

Supplies video via VGA for multiple purposes such as presentations, televisions, etc. Very useful adapter. Does not transport audio to applications.

This is a great way to entertain the kids. We have a good cheap projector and like to project on the barn door for all the kids in the neighborhood.

I use a secondary screen I bought for $50 and it works very well! I absolutely have no complaints with this product. I just dislike the cost.
