Customers regard the MLA22LL/A TKL Wireless Magic Keyboard favorably for its excellent battery life, high-quality keyboard, ease of use, and compact size. Many appreciate its wireless functionality, lightweight design, and sleek aesthetics. However, some find the price to be a bit high and the key travel short. The lack of a number pad is also a common point of criticism.

The perfect keyboard

The ergonomics with the slight slant are comfortable for me and the keys are the perfect sensitivity. I prefer keyboards that don't require too much pressure to type but still make a clicking sound when typing. The design is sleek and lightweight and works perfectly with my desk setup, while still giving me plenty of space to lean my arms on the desk. I've only had to charge it once since I purchased it about six months ago. I charged it the first day I received it and I use it pretty much every day.

Ushering in a new generation of products - this keyboard update is a long time in coming!!!
Anyone who used the original Apple wireless bluetooth keyboard, knows how great of a design it was, reducing desk clutter, needing no wires, and running for (often months) on a single set of 3 AA batteries (later they came out with a 2 battery model.) Well, the major improvement this time, was a sleeker smoother design / thinner key profile, but most importantly, absolutely no batteries! With just a brief plug in with the lighting connector, your keyboard charges and runs optimally for extended periods of time (weeks/months depending on frequency of use.) My biggest complaint with the old model, was the batteries failing right in the middle of a project, and having to swap my AA battery rotation, and there was no way to use the keyboard during the charging, if I didn't have them ready. Never again will this be an issue. Simply use the lighting connector (any Apple user has this already nearby) and enjoy full keyboard usage while charging! Way-to-go, Apple!! Similar battery-less versions of the Apple mouse and Trackpad have been released as well, so we can say goodbye now to the recurring battery charging of the past!

Excellent Bluetooth Keyboard for your iPad

There are times when you want to sit down at a desk and do some work on your iPad. For this purpose, the Magic Keyboard is a great choice for the iPad. The keyboard switches are quiet, with adequate travel, and the battery holds a charge for months. In addition to Apple-specific modifier and media keys, the eject button will summon the emoji keyboard when used with the iPad. Pricey but a great iPad companion when you need to get some writing done.

Not much different from aluminum wireless keyboard, at least feel. I love the ability to plug in with USB as some rare occasions require the keyboard to be wired and this can be wired or wireless. Battery life is GREAT!

Apple products just work and this keyboard is no exception. No fooling around with Windows drivers or wondering why the full functionality isn't there. Easy to use, easy to recharge the batteries by connecting to a lightning power source and the feel of the keyboard is good. Did I mention it is easy to move around your desktop. Use it with my Mac Mini and trackpad for a killer setup!

This keyboard is an excellent companion for an Apple TV. The best feature is that it charges via a lightning cable instead of using batteries, and keeps the charge a long time. It's very sleek. It's probably the tiniest full-size bluetooth keyboard there is. My only complaint is that the bottom of it is easily scratched. Still, it's worth having in my opinion.

I love this keyboard. It’s perfect for my small hands. Very light, keeps a charge for very long time. I had it since March and have only charged it a few times. Compatible with iPad Pro if you didn’t buy the keyboard case from apple. I didn’t like their folio case so I bought the UGB armor case and this keyboard. So glad I did.

Coming from a 2012 macbook with big ole thick keys, the lower profile keys on this took some getting used to. However, I think they are good middle ground between that and what the new macbooks are sporting.
Bluetooth is nice and I only have to charge once every 40 days or so.
Hated it at first, but now i kinda enjoy it. :)

This is a great little keyboard for use with my 12.9" iPAD Pro. The keys have a nice travel and are completely quiet. The small size, light weight, and rigid construction makes it an excellent travel accessory (it fits nicely on an airplane tray with my open iPAD Pro). The Bluetooth connects reliably.
The only downsides are the price, lack of forward delete key (like in all Macbooks and MacBook Pros) and lack of any key backlighting. I would also have preferred a USB-C versus the supplied Lightning charging port. Battery life of the keyboard is excellent, however.

I’m so glad you are selling Apple made products. The Magic Keyboard is well made, lightweight, and fits my hand size. I can sit in a comfortable chair not too far from my computer and put in data. And cleaning the low profile is easy to do. I expect this keyboard to work well over 8 years as my original one did.

Had the last Wireless Apple Keyboard. I picked this one up since I don't have to use batteries anymore, I can just charge it. I would highly recommend this over the older model.

This little keyboard is absolutely amazing! I bought it and my computer over a month ago and it hasn’t even touched a charger since I connected it to my computer and it still has 70% battery! The keys are beautifully responsive and not overly so. And it’s very light and high quality.

Of course there are other cheaper keyboards. But after reviewing the others, nothing compares to the Apple magic keyboard. I use it with my Apple iPad Pro. Links up to it wireless as soon as I turn it on. Battery has long life and charges fast with iPad charge cable. Keys have a nice feel and confident stroke, thin compact keyboard console. Pricey at $100.00 but worth the money. 5 stars.

Not having to charge and change batteries constantly is the biggest (and only) improvement. Unfortunately, the keyboard is not backlit. Hopefully, Apple will join the 21st century sometimes in the future. Pairing is easier now by connecting the keyboard to the computer using the lightning cable.
