    Plays music from Apple Music

IMPORTANT : to listen to music match songs that are not part of apple music you have to add them to a playlist (at least thats the workaround as of 12/16/18) but they DO work. just make a seperate playlist for each album if thats what you want. For example, while I am writing this, I am listening to Tool through my echo from apple music. Tool is not normally available on apple music. I own the CDs and ripped them to mp3, then I used Apple’s iTunes Music Match to add Tool to my Apple Music Library. I created a playlist with their albums and it lets me play the playlist on my echo. Hopefully that helps because I saw a lot of reviews that said it didn’t work. ALSO, SHUFFLE WORKS FOR PLAYLISTS - you just have to say “alexa shuffle” AFTER your playlist starts. thats not ideal because it means you always have to start with the first song in the playlist, but its not true to say that shuffle playlists doesn’t work. MY ORIGINAL REVIEW: Finally! It works much better for me than amazon music did. amazon music couldn’t understand certain band or song names even though the artists were in their library (for example 65daysofstatic) but apple music has understood every request i’ve made so far. Also, Apple has the best hand curated playlists out of all of the music streaming services.

Already a fantastic deal at its regular price, the recent addition of lossless audio and (for those with an outboard headphone DAC/amplifier) Hi-Res lossless audio on some items (all the way up to 192KHz@24-Bit) and Spatial Audio in Dolby Atmos — and not just for streaming, but you can download for offline play with all of these features —and without raising the price at all makes Apple Music an excellent value, and it is available on Android as well for those who were not aware. The family plan is probably the best deal as far as family plans go too - 6 totally separate accounts for $14.99/month vs. $9.99/month for an individual subscription. Take advantage of the free trial and I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the features and at just how broad the catalog really is — and they are ALWAYS adding more, both new and old, remastered, expanded editions, etc.

Hands down this is the best version of the AirPods by Apple. I will go even further to say of current True wireless headphones. The design tops that of all previous versions. The transparency mode is the beat feature I’ve ever encountered on wireless headphones. I have average size ears, so the stem of the AirPods do not past my earlobes. They fit very well. The only draw back is no volume control but that’s not even an issue when you can just say “hey Siri” reduce my volume to 50%. To give you a better vision of the transparency mode; I live near the Ports and an airport. With transparency mode off I can barely hear the horns blowing while I’m outside. With it off it sounds as if nothing is in my ears. If your looking to get any other version of the AirPods it’s my honest opinion spend the extra cash for the pros. Otherwise your going to fine yourself investing in them later anyway.

My twentysomething year old son took to Apple Music straight away - went to town: streaming and downloading to his iPhone straight off; my spouse took to it with caveats: growing pains learning to discern between what was downloaded vs. what was in the Cloud in regards to her MBP and 'i' devices; I myself am a tried and true crate digger and found it difficult to adapt to having access to everything all at once all the time with little to no effort. All that being said - I do like Apple Music and do use it, but primarily to keep abreast of new releases I'm curious to hear, but not necessarily to buy. Old habits die hard - I continue to search for the obscure, the avant-garde and the forgotten pursuing physical media when available and ALAC (at a minimum) when money need be spent to acquire my latest go to track.

I got this free for 4 months but I didn’t redeem it. Then i purchased something else and the promo was better as I got it for free for 6 months, which I did redeem! But I won’t be renewing my subscription. I have Google minis in my house and you can have them stream using Apple Music which is great. But it takes several seconds esto start playing the requested song. When connected to Spotify, it’s almost instantaneous. When using the Apple Music app, I like the fact that you can easily see the lyrics of any song! But other than that, the recommendations are not as great as Pandora for example. Maybe I’m more used to other streaming services more but so far, I don’t feel compelled to switch to Apple Music permanently.

    Apple Music is still second-best

I used Apple Music for the very first time in 2015, right after it was rebranded from Beats. Beats will soon be completely discontinued, after Beats 1 has been renamed Apple Music 1 as of today. So it’s been awhile. However, I gave Apple Music another try recently. Unfortunately, Apple Music still cannot compete with Spotify. To be fair, it’s a very close second place runner-up. Furthermore, Apple Music is far better than every other music streaming service, besides Spotify. If you’re all-in on Apple like I am, Apple Music will definitely get the job done. Yet, if you want the absolute best streaming service on the market, Spotify is your clear choice.

Apple Music is just great. Tons of selections to make your own custom playlists as well as stations and curated playlists for every mood and occasion. If you're in the Apple ecosystem, it works great on every device; especially with Siri. My only complaint is the 1 active user at a time restriction. If you have your Apple ID signed in for Apple Music at home and someone else is listening, and you try to play a song while you're somewhere else. It stops the other listeners song. You can somewhat get around this by having a family subscription, except that it still limits the active playing one per Apple ID. Which is problematic for people who have all of their Apple devices set up with the same Apple ID. I'd love to see an option to allow for more active users under the same Apple ID.

Love Apple Music! I have definitely listened to and downloaded tons of songs that would have cost me a fortune to buy elsewhere. I also am able to connect it to all of my Apple devices which is another bonus. I like that you get a trial offer before needing to commit and Apple also give you a few months to try it out so that you really can determine if it’s right for. After the trial it’s such a small monthly fee for access to billions of songs so it’s definitely worth it in my opinion. You can download songs right to your device, so no need to have constant WiFi, data, or internet capabilities when wanting to listen to your library. The quality of each song is amazing too unlike other steaming apps, as well as there are also no required commercials/ads to listen to. I highly recommend this!

Apple Music Provides Great Selection and Price

It’s not so much a free trial period but more a free service without a commitment to actually buy a subscription to the platform. It has nice features that are comparable to its competitors but Apple does a better job, in my opinion, curating music that fits your mood, style, and energy. The selection of music is incredibly wide - Apple touts over 70 millions songs in its vault. It’s great for listening to your music or delve into other genres at any time. It also boasts a neat feature that, once you create a profile, you can follow friends’ music playlists and, as well, share your selection of music. It’s a great way to get in touch with your favorite songs from by gone years/decades and enjoy the tunes you had all but forgotten.

I don’t listen to music much, even though I’m constantly in front of an Apple device all day. I guess I just prefer silence and don’t think about it. I do like music when running, but prefer to use songs downloaded to my phone for that, rather than using data to stream. However, the pre made stations, playlists and genres make it easy to put on the right type of music for the right type of situation: parties, reading, calming and relaxing, dancing, or holiday baking. The ability to find and play just the right song you were looking for is handy too. I would rate it great for anyone who really listens to music a lot, but it’s handy for the occasional but specific listener too.

If you own an iPhone or any other Apple device that can utilize the Apple Music app, it's totally worth the money! The sound quality is superior to Spotify (my all-time favorite). HOWEVER I still prefer to use Spotify because it's much more user-friendly. Apple Music lacks in this ability ... the try, but it's way behind. I also want to say that I have been waiting for Apple Music to give it's users the ability to sort songs within a playlist. Currently, if I add a song to one of my own playlists, I cannot sort the playlist in any way. This means that if I want to listen to the song I just added, I'd have to go to my playlist and scroll past all 500+ songs just to find the one I want to listen to.

When I purchased my Apple Watch, I was offered a four month subscription to Apple Music. I already had iTunes for years, so I thought “why not”. I can definitely get the attraction for Apple Music, because I could listen to any song I wanted, as long as it was in the vast library. When the four month subscription ends, you need to decide if paying $9.99 a month to continue having Apple Music is something you want to do. If you decide to quit, you will need to purchase all of the music you downloaded since getting Apple Music, because you lose all of the songs you didn’t already paid for.

So walking into this, I was skeptical because I was like, will I like it? It seems too confusing. But that was just at first. When I started to use it, I found that I could listen to any song whenever I wanted! I was dancing to all of these songs that Apple Music has on repeat. It also had multiple features that I enjoyed made just for me. Almost like I was special! Probably the only problem is that the people who have the U2 album on their Apple account and didn't want it will find it difficult to adjust if you're a person like me who just adds songs to their library. But you can delete it from your account.

I don't love Apple Music, BUT because of it's ease of use within the walled gard, a place in which I am firmly planted, it's great. Using Siri with HomePod is actually a pretty great experience and even my toddler can use the voice commands (sometimes). The app itself is kinda clunky and not super intuitive like a lot of other apple apps, but it gets most things right. Sound quality overall good be better (think Tidal HiFi or whatever it's called) but I've heard they are going to introduce a higher quality tier on apple music. Not holding my breathe. Anyway, I'm not a big fan of Spotify, so I'm happy to use Apple Music.

Apple Music is very good, as is Amazon Music. But I'd prefer to still use Apple's iTunes. I am not a big fan of subscriptions for most things because if you decide to cancel or not to keep it, you lose what you have. So I'm staying with iTunes. The subscription for Apple Music is good because it is unlimited, but has limitations. I do like spatial audio it has, though limited to certain music. I only would really like iTunes to have spatial audio. I would recommend this for those who want unlimited music as you can listen to whatever you want rather than purchasing the music

At the time that I use this Apple Music I was using a Samsung note 10+ And while using it I was using 4G and it was pretty slow the music player and everywhere I went was pretty much slow and I had sprint at the time and I don’t know if it was the service or it was the music player or who knows. I recently bought me an iPhone 12 and it has 5G it has fast connection and it is with T-Mobile I just tried out the music player for Apple and it works so fast and so quickly now that I know that it was the service Apple Music is a great way to listen to music.
