    Music for the Masses.

I got this as part of a package deal with my MacBook Pro. This is a good value if you like to subscribe to music. I prefer to own my music and not lease it. The issue is I always have my music and if the provider changes licensing agreements I don't loose access to my favorite songs. Also if my computer becomes corrupted or I locked out of my account. Well I still have my music. If your tastes are changing and you don't care about the above mentioned. Then Apple Music is an excellent choice. Apple has the latest Artists and the popular songs of today and the pass.

Great Service, but Needs Some Improvements

This is a great service. I'd rate it a 5, but the more I use the service, the more music I'm finding that is NOT on Apple Music. I'm even finding stuff I add to my library one day only to have it removed at a later point for an unknown reason and without any notice. I just find out when I go to play the songs and they are marked as "Not available in my country or region". They also don't have the entire catalogs by artists, such as Great White and Molly Hatchet. Only about half of their catalogs are on Apple Music, leaving it to YouTube for the rest. Besides this, the service is great.

You would watch TV even more after purchasing this

I am using this TV over a year now. I bough it soon before all pandemic thing happened. I watch TV a lot just because everything on it looks super beautiful and crisp. No one can beat Sony's up scaling technology. I haven't bought a soundbar yet TV speakers itself is doing a great job for me but planning to buy something in future to complete the setup. I recently got a software update which made this even more awesome. The black levels and contrast is great. Some issue with reflection on dark scene at day time when lights facing TV but not a huge problem for me. I am hoping Sony will release Google TV for it.

I subscribed to Amazon music for ~1 year before I got tired of not being to stream music on more than one Alexa device in the house at a time. With Apple music, one can stream on as many Alexa's as one wants. the restrictions only come in on apple devices (phone, computer, ipad) where one can only stream on a single apple device at a time. Really, the way to go with Apple is to get Apple One, which includes Apple music, icloud, apple arcade, apple news, apple fitness, and apple TV for a very good bundled price. I was getting some of these individually, but combining them in apple one saved a lot of money.

Makes the most of the Apple Watch

So I finally feel like I’m getting the most out of my Apple Watch. Until now, I was unable to use it to workout, which was one of the reasons I had for purchasing the watch. The main reason was to stay informed while teaching and to stay connected when I’d leave my phone at home; which I did a lot of during a difficult period in my life. Anyway, I know there’s a way to download music from other apps to the watch but I haven’t taken the time to do it. With Apple Music, this step isn’t necessary. You just choose your music and go! I suppose this is why they have programs that work specifically with their products. :/

Real cool !! Apple Music is the default app for listening to music. Surprisingly, it’s one of a few Apple apps that is also available on Android but you’ll need to download it from the Play Store first. Using the service on both operating systems is fairly similar, with the biggest difference being how you search for music. On iOS there’s a separate tab in the bottom menu, while on Android there’s an ever-present search icon in the top right instead. Besides that, how you navigate Apple Music is identical on both platforms. There are icons along the bottom to help you navigate the different menus.

Having access to almost the entire Apple Music music library for free is great. It’s the same great Apple Music that many people subscribe to and pay money for but it’s way cheaper. Being that it’s free for 4 months really makes it affordable. With most everything costing money it’s nice to get something for nothing particularly when it still costs other people money. In my opinion college tuition is probably the best thing you can not have to pay for. Followed by theme park tickets with fast pass. Now I think 4 months of free Apple Music may actually be better than both.

Have tried Apple Music in the past & hadn’t been impressed enough to keep it. Gave it another chance & have grown to like it a little more. Still have issues easily finding what I’m looking for or finding previously liked albums/songs/etc. Apple used to have great UI & make everything super intuitive. More often than not it feels they’ve completely abandoned that philosophy. At least the music quality is beyond amazing…once you find what you’re looking for.

Apple Music has only improved over the years and is now one of our favorite music streaming services. The service offers impressive playlists curated by music experts, content that connects the listener to their favorite artist, and a 24/7 live radio. It’ll blend seamlessly with your other Apple products, and can work with Amazon Echo devices, too. Though there is no free version, you can take advantage of its 90-day trial to decide for yourself if Apple Music is right for you. Apple Music is best for active listeners who both know what they like and are open to new and unique tracks.

Bluetooth. Just connect your phone and play your Google Music collection. There's a way to get the device to play through your google music library but even for me, someone who likes tangling their mind through stupid hacks like those, I found it a lot more simple and easier to use bluetooth and the play music app. Mostly I use it for rare favorites that Alexa doesn't have. This doesn't bother me and in fact the shuffle feature from the phone is how I've been discovering new music - the aux cable is needed although I like them for Dj'ing.

This is a great music app! I’ve used a few different paid subscriptions, Spotify, Google music, YouTube music and now Apple Music. I can honestly say I like this one the best because you can read the lyrics along side with the song playing in like a slideshow form. You can set the quality to high which is nice and download it the same. Can create playlists and post radio stations to keep the vibes going, or even discover new bands. You can even have friends and follow along with what their listening to and recommend stuff to one another. Worth the price

    Apple Devices = Apple Music

If you own Apple devices then Apple Music seems to be a no brainer. The set up is simple and it works on my ipad, Iphone and watch. The only downside is that the streaming quality is not HD but when you are listening to the music with earbuds I dont think it matters that much. The downside of Apple Music is other services offer better selection and they auto create playlist that I like better. If you dont mind creating your own playlist then Apple Music is great.

Was an Apple Music user before this purchase so am very well versed in the product. Couldn’t ask for a better variety of music so there’s no issue there. Also I like the idea that you can download to any device you own and have it available in the cloud to all your other devices at the same time. What is a constant problem is the fact that Siri is still dumb as a door nail and very rarely gets it right. Not really a problem with Apple Music alone. I like the yearly subscription rate and also available now as a bundle with other subs.

I didn't understand the draw to having Apple Music until I began using it. Now, I'm hooked. So hooked that I recently signed up for AppleOne Premiere which includes Apple Music. I'm able to find old albums from my youth and listen to them along with the Apple playlists which are updated weekly. I didn't know what I was missing until I experienced it. I believe it is most beneficial when paired with an Apple HomePod/HomePod Mini. It will work through Alexa but you must finish each verbal music request with "...on Apple Music."

I have been using Apple Music since it was released and it is great! I really like the discovery section and I hope it continues to see improvements It is kind of annoying that when you are playing an album on shuffle and there is a music video or documentary attached it will just start playing the documentary. This is especially annoying on the Mac when you have music playing in the background because it will open a video window on top of what you are doing.

I used Apple Music during a free trial period I got after I purchased my iPad mini 5. I really enjoyed the design layout and the audio quality was excellent! The design and layout is beautiful on Apple TV also. After my trial ended, I didn’t continue with the $9.99 per month price though because I like using Spotify just as much and they offer a free streaming version with a few ads mixed in. Spotify is also excellent on iPad. Not as good as Apple Music if you’re using an iPhone though.

I've been using Apple Music for a few years now. Having previously used Spotify for a while, I feel like the two are on par. But then again, my needs are pretty simple. I just want to be able to listen to music whenever wherever I want, and I'm not too much into the social aspect of music stream. I like the tight integration between iOS, Siri, and Apple Music. It's great to be able to listen to Apple Music on my HomePod and Apple TV. All in all a good service that I plan to continue using.

Apple Music's audio quality is fine, but not as high as Amazon Music Unlimited, Primephonic, Qobuz, and Tidal's Hi-Res Audio offerings. Only hardcore audiophiles will notice the difference, as the audio streams at 256 Kbps. That's a lower bitrate than Spotify's 320 Kbps streams, but Apple's use of the AAC format enables its streams to retain more audio data. In addition, Apple Music supports lyrics (when they are available), so you can sing along to a song, even if you don't know the words.

Not to be pandemic-centric, but this free trial was. A lot of fun for our house-bound family. It’s helpful just to decide what you’d like to purchase, if you don’t want to be stuck with monthly payments. 4 months is a long time to try something! Canceling is of course not obvious, but you can google how. Here’s how: Go to “For You”, then click your icon (account), and it’s there under trial or join, depending on where you are in the process. If you want to cancel, it’s immediate, so set a date in your calendar and enjoy.
