I'm a full time student and all I needed the iPad pro for to take notes in class. The pencil is awesome makes everything easy. Full accuracy.

This pencil will be helpful to edit documents and take notes. Nice feel, very responsive. I might have trouble keeping track of the cap, however.

The pencil is very effective and charging using the fire port is convenient and fast. My concern is that it seems like a very easy thing to lose and Apple doesn't offer an "out of the box" solution. Given it's price, losing it is not good.

If you've already decided on purchasing an iPad Pro, chances are you're probably picking up an Apple Pencil as well. I'm not the type to draw, in fact, I purchased this product solely to take handwritten digital notes but I find myself very impressed with the functionality and ease of use Apple has imbued with this product. It really is the closest to actually writing on paper, any technology publically released has gotten. All those pro do come with some negatives. The magnetic cap is easy to lose and the charging method's a little too unorthodox for me.

A fast, responsive and accurate stylus for drawing, taking notes and creating diagrams. Only gripe is how the stylus feels against the glass. Would be great if Apple could figure out how to better simulate the feeling of pen/pencil on paper.

Works wonderfully and very responsive. Charging does not take long at all, and it can last for hours to days depending on how quickly you charge.

The stylus is very responsive for my iPad Pro better than any other product compared. If you have a hobby to draw this is recommended.

If you want to fully unlock the iPad pro's potential as a device, you need the pencil. Incredibly responsive and charges extremely quickly.

Works very good but not perfect! The cap is awkward and so is charging. The balance is almost perfect and the pressure levels are reasonably realistic. This is required to release the full potential of any supported ios device.

Seriously one of Apples best accessories! It has beautiful balance, just the perfect weight and drag, the diameter of the pencil and its length is comfortable and in a weird way gives you better control without any fatigue. It's hard to explain how ridiculously well made and well thought out the device is. They say there will come a time in the future when the technology fades away into the background and the user becomes seamless with the device. I truly believe this product is the first product of that genre. Bravo Apple designers.

Extremely accurate, great for note taking or drawing. Must have for ipad pro. Wish it was a little cheaper. Also be careful not to lose the end cap.

Not an artist or student, strictly intended to use this for work. I Love it. Going to a meeting, using it to take notes constantly and the best thing is I no longer have to wonder what I did with that note last week because it’s in my iPad until I decide to delete it. I have to admit that I’ve been finding myself drawing more and more with this thing too. It’s fun to use. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because occasionally it doesn’t mark consistently for a moment. I’m not experienced with it enough to know what’s actually going on or if I’m doing something wrong but the inconvenience is minor and goes away as soon as I start a new note or close and reopen the old.
