This is my first time using a tablet w/ stylus, and I'm still clumsy using the drawing apps. Over time as skill improves my satisfaction ought to gain. As others have criticized, it is pricey, can easily roll off your desk, and you must pay extra to get a stand or case. Apple should have at least included a removable clip and basic stand within the $100 price. But that's the beef with Apple (& why they are so profitable) creating 'opportunities' for us to spend more $. Bottom line if you want to draw on your iPad you want it.

It works great! I like the sturdy point compared to my old Samsung tablet pencil, it also feels heavier, it's easy to charge.

I recently purchased an IPAD and got this thinking I would use this to take notes. You can, as it works well with it, but I also bought a keyboard case and that works a little better for how i work. With that said, the pen is great to make notes over pictures or drawing, which I wound up doing a lot as well. My case came with a place holder for this so my pen is always with me. The only bad thing about the pencil is that you can’t tell by just looking at it if it is fully charged or not, you have to go look at the battery level via the ipad. A bit of an annoyance, but keeping it fully charged when needed is useful.
