The Apple Pencil is an amazing accessory for the iPad and it really does write like an instrument on paper. I use this in conjunction with the Penultimate and Evernote with ease. It needs a clip though for five stars.

This is such a very easy to use pen for the iPad. It can be used on a variety of applications and great for drawing.

It's a great pen, though pricy and has no real grip of its own. There's no lag or parallax. The battery charges extremely fast.

This is great for taking notes for college along with the IPad and you charge it by plugging it right into iPad

The Apple Pencil is one of the best stylus/pencils you can buy with this type of accuracy. It is accurate and it doesn’t have screen lag. I do wish Apple would have made it more affordable, but that’s Apple being Apple. I’m glad Gen 2 has a better charging solution also, because the lighting port to charge sucks. That whole design was a fail. Overall, the pencil does what it’s suppose to, many artists or just people who want a solid stylus will be pleased.

I got the Apple Pencil to use with my iPad and Goodnotes. I use it daily and my biggest complaint is that I go through tips. Maybe I need to write lighter? I also had to purchase a film to put on top of my iPad to make it feel like I was writing on paper. Without the paper film on my iPad I wouldn't be happy at all with the pencil. Made all the difference! And it charges SUPER fast, so no issues with charge time.

Love using this pen with my notes and also Word. I like the feel of it as it feels like a real pen. I find that I like just doodling with it as well. The only negative part is the battery goes down even when you don't use it. I wish Apple would have thought more about that part and changed it. The good thing is it charges extremely easy and fast. You can either connect the pen into the charge part on your IPad or use the adapter that comes with it and charge it into the wall with a plug.

I have found the Apple Pencil to be very handy for drawing and even typing on the iPad. Dry simple to use. Charges must faster by plugging it in to the iPad than in the adapter for the outlet.

If you're on the fence just go to your local Best Buy or Apple Store, get a demo station, launch the already installed Notes app and begin writing with the Apple Pencil. If you're able to download, get a drawing program and tilt the pencil 45-degrees sideways to shade or even Affinity Photo which allows you to adjust the pencil as a light source. Small expense for tremendous value.

The pen works great and when paired with the right app, you can make drawings and paintings like you've actually drew them on paper.

I am still getting used to the pencil. So far I am not sure I am going to use it more than as a stylus which is expensive as a stylus. It is large to carry around so for me I am not sure it is worth the cost.

This is a must have! I purchased the IPad Pro and honestly, I didn't want to spend the money on the Apple Pencil, let's face it, it isn't cheap! However, after an associate allowed me to use his personal pencil at a Best Buy, I was sold! This pencil is a game changer, it so fluid and clean and if you're a student like I am, it makes note taking a breeze... I don't leave home without my Apple Pencil...
