Nearly perfect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'll be honest, this is the best Stylus I've ever used.. by far. It's extremely responsive and lightweight, plus it charges super quick (6%-100%) in about 5-10 minutes. There are some problems though.. Every once in a while, when I'm in the middle of writing, the pen will stop responding for a brief second. It's just enough to make it annoying. The pen comes right back on after lifting it off of the iPad, but still... The grip, or lack thereof, is not comfortable enough for prolonged use. I ended up buying a silicon sleeve with a magnet built in (for attaching it to the smart cover), but it gets dirty rather quickly. All in all I'm still very content with the pencil, it's nearly perfect, with only minor annoyances.

Way Beyond a Stylus
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the Apple Pencil and the things that it allows me to do with my iPad Pro. I'm not much of an artist but when I use the Apple Pencil to take notes in the Notes Plus app, it is as good as using paper. I have used various styluses over the years and feel as if Apple has made the perfect one. The charge lasts plenty long and with the ability to plug it into the iPad itself for a quick charge via the charging port I never have to worry about my Apple Pencil not working. It is accurate and I love the pressure sensitivity.

Should be required for all iPad Owners
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was originally on the fence about buying the pencil with my iPad, but I was swayed by some friends and I'm so glad they changed my mind. There are so many apps that utilize the pencil to its full extent. Battery life is awesome and it charges ridiculously fast. My only complaint is that it is super easy to lose the cap and that you can't erase with the top of the pencil like some competition. Definitely not a deal breaker, but hopefully Apple will fix that with the Apple Pencil 2.

My favorite new Apple accessory!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love to draw and this made my passion come back! I usually use it as a convenient stylus but it came in handy for drawing with while I was in quarantine! I’m sure I will get a lot of use out of this pencil! It is costly, but I would much rather use an Apple Pencil than an off brand pencil on my iPad! If you love to draw and are an Apple purist, this is the accessory for you!

THE MUST HAVE ACCESSORY
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I could not imagine having my iPad Pro without also having an Apple Pencil. It is an expensive but necessary tool to fully use your iPad. I am a student, and also an athletics coach and I use it for taking notes as drawing up plays. It makes it easy to hand write anything you need and with the ability to sync to iCloud you can have your notes everywhere. I have used other stylus and this is simply the best feeling, and most intuitive one available. Do yourself a favor and pick one up.

iPencil
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the iPencil. It syncs so easily to the iPad Pro. Simply remove the cap and plug it in to where you plug in the charger. It syncs and also gets charged this way. You can watch the charging process by looking at the very first screen (to the left of the normal first screen), just scroll down...it will show the charge of your iPad and the charge of the iPencil. It’s amazing that if your iPad has a 75% charge, it can still charge your iPencil to 100%. So easy, and fun to use, too.

Exatcly What I needed
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a ipad 6th gen and bought this since it's compatible and was instantly happy when I first used it. It works great on the ipad especially for art. it's light and weighs like a pencil although it's smooth which makes it feel slippery at first. So far no issues and would suggest getting it. it's supper accurate when drawing and haven't noticed lag or anything. Lasts a long time when charged 100% and easy to pair

It's Apple's flagship stylus
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Come on, its Apple's first attempt at putting a pen in your hand that interfaces with the iPad Pro. I cannot tell you how excited I was to get this and start my love affair with digital art all over again. The pencil works flawless with all of the Adobe apps I have and the only thing now is what to spend my time in drawing! There is nothing out there except a far more expensive Wacom Clinique that this thing could even be matched to. You own an iPad Pro? Then you need to get this in your hands.

Lovely to use, Expensive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.BestBuy actually got my iPad Pro purchase because they had the iPencil $5 off. The pencil feels impressively weighty for a minute before disappearing into a natural extension of your hand. it is a pleasure to sketch an idea or scribble a note, journal-like. Although it looks formless without a button or flattened shape, it's actually very comfortable to hold. It conforms to your hand, not the other way around. The price still feels outrageous, but I suppose it is worth it – not just because the technology gives a sharper point than a regular stylus, but also because it feels so wonderfully balanced in the hand you don't think about it at all. I recommend it, but I knock one star for the sticker shock.

Good, but with room for improvement
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let's talk about the pros first. The Apple Pencil is very good for Precision work. The battery life of the Apple Pencil is great. The cons is sometimes it disconnects from the iPad if not used for a while and the way to reconnected is to plug in the Apple Pencil into the iPad. I also found the Apple Pencil to be quite slippery, but that was fixed with an additional accessory that you wrap around the Apple Pencil. The way to charge up the Apple pencil can be awkward. You can either use a teeny tiny small adapter to use a regular iPhone charger just careful you might lose the adapter. Or connect the Apple Pencil directly to the iPad charging port at the bottom leaving the Apple Pencil sticking out from the iPad.

Excellent Pencil
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my Apple pencil! I searched for one that would work the same at a cheaper price and of course their are many out there but I know none could compare to the real thing. This was a mother day present and I couldnt be more satified with how it works. Easy to connect to the iPad 7. No skipping, writes beautifully every time, charges fast and feels great in the hand with the perfect weight.

Apple Pencil works great with the iPad Pro
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the Apple Pencil. It works great with the iPad Pro I bought. I use it with the Procreate app and it works perfectly. The pressure sensitivity I can get with it is amazing. I love practicing calligraphy with it. It only takes ten or fifteen minutes to get a 100% charge, too. I've just had it for a few weeks and I'm still learning about everything I can do with it, but so far I'm in love. The only thing I don't love is the price. But like everything else makes, it's pricey.

The Pencil Feels Natural
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using the Apple Pencil for several weeks. It was easy to sync with the tablet and it charges very quick. I have my tablet in a case with a screen protector and the pencil works the same. The pencil was kind of expensive but once you use it the price shock will go away. One of my co-workers thanked me for the recommendation and loves their pencil as well.

Surprised. It’s better than Wacom
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, I use a lot of digital art apps, and usually I buy anything WACOM. However, in a bind, I purchased the ApplePencil, thinking it would be an inferior product to what I was used to. BOY was I wrong! The feel is so much more authentic, the charge lasts a lot longer, and the pressure sensitivity blows the highest end WACOM stylus out of the water! Try it with Adobe’s new Fresco. You’ll be highly impressed.

Amazing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ever since I got my first iPad (iPad 2) I have been looking for the one stylus to use to optimize studying and productivity. I've looked to many styluses and have done lots of research over the years trying new stylus and always going back to the cheap general soft tip stylus. Adonit and bamboo has come out with very good styluses but with the battery life and sometimes unpredictable Bluetooth connectivity, lag and poor accuracy it wasn't much more reliable than the bigger soft tip stylus. It was nice that they were fine point but the cons drove me to away though I still kept and used them from time to time if I really needed the fine point. THEN CAME THE IPAD PRO WITH APPLE PENCIL. Sure the pencil is an extra $100 but for me who has been struggling to find the perfect stylus for years, it has been nothing short of perfect. At first I was skeptic so I waited a while to upgrade to a new iPad and get the pencil. I waited a year and got the 9.7 in iPad a couple months ago. I can tell you right for someone who does all my schoolwork on my iPad that it's been amazing. Sometimes I used to keep a notebook even with my iPad just in case but this past semester I haven't had to take out that notebook since I got the new iPad with this pencil. My productivity has definitely increased with this purchase and I have never looked back. The seamless connectivity with these two and the 24 hr battery life is awesome, also, the fast charging is great because it the pencil charges fully in about 20-30 minutes. FULL CHARGE. The palm rejection is great and works awesome with the existing app I use for notes (Notability) I have so many good things to say about this. I honestly have completely moved to all iPad whereas before I would switch from paper to iPad. Now it's all green and all iPad. Apple did great with this I can't believe it.

Quill to write on the tablets of faith
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have the power to write on the tablets of fate? To see the Norns and scribe your own path in the great weave? To finally be able to write left handed and not smear anything? To write to Hades and have him actually respond for once? Well if any of those appeal to you, then this Pencil is for you. It is for anything that doesn't support the new Apple Pencil Two. I mean what else do you need to know here folks? You charge it via a Lightning Port. That's freaking right! It gets it's power straight from Thor himself. He smacks his hammer against the anvil of time and then asks you to pen his new version of the Prose Edda where he ends up marrying Natalie Portman and they have sweet little Aesir babies. Can you draw? No? Well with this you can draw. It's truly amazing, you really can draw with it ... stupendous ... (please note: this is not saying you will draw WELL but it does allow you to draw... to quote my students, "why can you only draw stick figures?" ... well maybe because I'm too busy passing along Thoth's wisdom to you and do not have time to learn how to be an artists Kyle ... don't you have some Red Bull to drink and some drywall to smash?!). I tried to warn my friend about the awesomeness of this stylus, but he picked it up anyway... Now he's dating a supermodel, drives a McClaren and is way over deep in his home loan payment ... but he can write and draw and what more do you need?

Great Product for the Apple Ipad Pro
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the apple ipad pro (12.9 inch version) so that I could use it for college. I downloaded an app called goodnotes which you can use to hand write notes. That being said, the pen was perfect for this app. It was very sensitive and allowed me to write smoothly. The pen also comes with a spare tip in case that one that the pen has wears down. I also bought this pen, because when the ipad is paired with it, the screen can more effectively distinguish between your palm and pen, so you can rest your palm on the ipad screen (without accidentally writing with your palm) and write more naturally. Furthermore, even with the pen, the ipad can still distinguish between your finger and the pen. I have also tried to use the pen for art. I am not an adept artist, but the pen was very accurate even on the tiniest of details. Although, personally I would not exclusively rely on the ipad for digital art as the apps have limitations such as the number of layers you could use, but now I'm rambling. One more thing, the pen's battery also lasts pretty long. I could go for possibly 3 days or more (I think it reached around 68% by the third day) while using it and not have to charge it with the way I use it (about 3 or 4 hours a day). The pen also sync's with the ipad's bluetooth in a matter of seconds. Lastly, the pen can be charged with the ipad. I plugged the pen into the ipad at 9% and it reached 12% after 30 seconds or so. However, it may take longer to go from 12% to a higher batter percentage for the pen. Meanwhile, it only siphoned a negligent amount of power from the ipad. I didn't even see the ipad pro battery decrease by 1%. Overall, I think that the pen is awesome and fit my purposes for it perfectly. I definitely recommend the pen for people like me who plan to turn the ipad into a multipurpose college notebook.

Necessity for artists on the iPad Pro
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had bought the iPad Pro with the intent of getting the Apple Pencil after trying it out in store. It’s the smoothest drawing or writing I have ever seen, the closest to drawing/writing on paper that I have reached digitally. Plus it charges quickly, which is very nice. I’d recommend getting a case with a space for the Apple Pencil to hold; the end cap and charging adapters are small and can get lost easily. But its functions are fantastic!

Love using Apple Pencil with my 3rd Gen iPad Air!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Apple Pencil to use with Notability on my iPad Air (3rd gen). I take notes on PowerPoints at work and for personal use. It is much easier than trying to capture everything from just listening and taking notes. The charge lasts a long time, and it quick charges in 15 seconds. I’ve found it very easy to adjust my writing to the lighter touch and love the tools over pen/pencil.
