Again.....outstanding product offering from Apple! I've used the digital styluses from other companies on other products, and they are "neat" but never quite work like you hope they will. Then comes the Apple Pencil......and they nailed it! This works EXACTLY as advertised. It is precise, responsive, and an invaluable addition to my iPad. Would like an attached cap, or retractable plug in.....rather than the removable cap.....but that's just a "want".....certainly nothing that detracts from the quality of this product. Thanks Again Apple!

I wasn't sure if I'll be able to move away from taking note using real pencils and papers, but it turned out writing with Apple Pencil & iPad was really nice. I can write faster, switch colors to highlight content, and share with others right away. The only draw back is that if you take notes with abbratives and signs, the software is not smart enough to convert those to typed content, so you can't really search key words in a hand written note. Other than that it works smoothly and the battery last long.

I must say Apple is never the first to do anything, but 9 times out of 10 when they do reimagine a device they add a little something special. The Apple Pencil is no exception, this is by far the best stylus I have ever used. I am a graphic designer by profession and have used them all 53 Pencil, Bamboo Stylus, Targus and even some cheaper alternates. The fact that it is pressure sensitive and recognizes the angle of the pencil along with stellar response time. The circumference and weight of the stylus also make it feel like you are using a real pencil. If you have an iPad Pro I would definitely recommend this stylus, I would even say upgrade to an iPad Pro so you can actually use the Apple Pencil.

The pencil works perfectly for the iPad artist! The end tip is also a great stylus. I'm really impressed with how quickly it charges and how long it lasts.

Having had the Ipad Pro for a couple of months before getting the pencil, I really didn't know what I was missing but now can't live without it. I'm big on taking notes and doing this on an ipad was not very convenient and usually hard to read with the typical "big eraser" stylus. The pencil is great for drawing as well. The pressure sensitivity is incredible and even my 6 year old daughter is able to develop her artistic ability using the pencil. The downside is that the pencil is very slick and doesn't have a clip on it so my greatest fear is losing a $100 pencil.

Great product. Very simple to set up and use. The pen is very responsive to the iPad screen. Charging life is more than adequate.

I recently bought an iPad (7th gen) and an Apple Pencil mostly so that I could improve my handlettering and I’m so glad I did. The Apple Pencil is the best stylus I have ever used and I genuinely think it’s worth the money. It is super smooth and soooo easy to pair. The only things that I have found slightly annoying are that I sometimes have to put it in the iPad (charger) to get it to connect again if it’s been awhile since I’ve used it, the tip of the stylus untwists slightly sometimes (but all you have to do is screw it back in), and there is no place to put the cap on the top while you are charging it. However, all of those things are super minor and it’s really just me being nit picky. I truly love it and I would highly recommend if you want to draw, color, or write on your iPad.

I love this product. Very useful for taking notes and drawing. Pressure sensitivity and responsiveness is top notch! Well worth the money for students/artists.

If you have an iPad pro and want to write or draw, you have to get this. Battery last for a long time and charges to full in less than 30 mins. Only con: its slippery and not cheap

I am surprised at how much I like the Apple Pencil for even simple tasks, browsing websites, using apps, etc. It is amazingly accurate, battery is decent, charges quickly and is fun.

This pencil works fantastically , and really makes using the Ipad Pro even more enjoyable. Only issue I have with it is it's price. If it were priced half of what it retails for, it would still be an expensive stylus. However, it IS the best I've used for the Ipad.

I'm kind of obsessed with my Apple Pencil. It's perfectly balanced and feels good in my hand. Love how simple it is to you and how precise it is as well. Great addition to the iPad Pro.

This is the second Apple Pencil that I have purchased. Unfortunately I lost the first on a trip out of the country and instead of buying another Apple Pencil to replace it I decided on buying an after market pencil from another company. That decision turned out to be a poor one as it did not live up to my expectations. This pencil just works, recharges very quickly and is comfortable to use. It may be a bit more expensive than others but in my experience it is just better than the other possibly less expensive pencils. Just buy it you will be happy.

This is an excellent tool. I use it mainly to grade student work and then send it back with a couple of clicks. I thought it would just work with PDFs and other specific apps, but it also works with Word. I use it a lot to grade assignments sent in by athletes when they are on the road or for in my on-line classes. The plastic on glass writing takes some practice, but you get used to it. Many of my students use it to take notes in class, which is amazing in itself in that this group of students rarely bothers to even to take notes. I recommend this to all students and teachers who have an iPad on which it can be used.

The Apple Pencil was a birthday gift for my wife. She seems to like it as she uses it everyday on her new Ipad Mini. She is now doing color by number with it and I see her use it for hours. She loves the convenience of having a pencil that writes, colors or sketches. She can charge it quickly by plugging it directly into the ipad or with the included adapter. A widget on her ipad screen shows her the current charge. This was a great birthday gift for her.

Purchased the Apple Pencil to use with iPad for lettering and art. Pressure sensitivity is amazing as well as ease of set up. Long battery life also. A+

The pencil was a good purchase as I'd rather quickly jot a note than to type (old school I guess!!). I use the pencil quite often and I appreciate how quickly it charges and there is a widget to keep me posted on the amount of charge it contains. If you don't use it it still keeps a good charge and even if I'm jotting notes for up to an hour there's still lots of charge left. With that being said, I gave this item four out of five stars because it doesn't have a clip and an additional accessory needs to be purchased to ensure you don't lose the cap. I thought i lost my cap, but after several days I found it. I purchased a cozy cap holder from Amazon and now I have a way to secure the cap. I noted, after my amazon purchase, that bestbuy also sales a cap protector.

Turns the iPad Pro into a superb multipurpose device, adding the functionality of other manufacturer's pen tablets with the precision and user-friendliness you've come to expect from Apple. As someone who likes to draw, hand write notes and design things on the fly, the Pencil was pretty much my main reason for upgrading my iPad to the Pro. The weight, balance and diameter of the Pencil are perfect for holding & writing. I just wished it came in other colors besides white, but that was easily fixed with an aftermarket magnetic sleeve. I did not hesitate one second before adding this to my iPad Pro purchase & love it as much as I thought I would.

I have tried several rubber tipped stylises, even one with a brush tip. They are now obsolete. The Apple Pencil is the most accurate device I have. Yes it is slippery on the glass screen. Took about 5 minutes to get very comfortable with that. Not only good for sketching in drawing apps, and hand written email (how cool is that?) but I use it for selecting everything that needs selecting. Set up an appointment in the calendar? Great fun.
