Great for taking notes for school!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to complement my iPad Air 3 so that I can annotate pdf documents and take notes during class. I have gone paperless. I don't buy any physical textbooks and I write all my notes on my ipad. I think I might break even on my purchase compared to textbooks in about a year. Like all Apple products, the Apple pencil is very easy to use and is of a very high quality. And yes, like all Apple products, I do think the pencil is a tad overpriced. If you can afford the pencil, I would highly recommend it!

Wonderful writing tool
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not an artist. I use the Apple Pencil with my iPad and iPad mini to take notes and draw simple diagrams. I love it. It works well--almost like a regular pen or pencil. It charges quickly, and the charge gives me several hours of use. Very dependable. It is the BEST digital writing tool I have ever used (and I've tried at least five). Yes, it costs more than any of the other tools, but it WORKS perfectly. I've wasted much more money on cheaper styluses that ended up malfunctioning or couldn't do what I needed.

Excellent but expensive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great product if not a little expensive like all Apple items. It works every time, is easy to charge (even on the fly) and seems durable enough.

Why did Apple not do this year's ago?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've always been jealous of people who could use pen like styluses with their tablets and laptops. It always seemed such an intuitive tool that could be used for the iPad. I'm glad Apple has finally developed a tool that utilizes the power and flexibility of their iPads. This pen is very easy to use and is even easier to link, via Bluetooth, to your iPad. I really love being able to take notes, but my favorite application is drawing. There are so many new apps on the market that you can use this pen with that it's definitely not a one trick horse. I highly recommend you give it a try!

The perfect iPad Pro companion!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For those loyal Apple fans who have pined for a stylus, the wait is over. The bad news, there is no "eraser" of sorts. With a name like Pencil, you would think the opposing end of the point would offer a seamless way to erase your work, but not so. Aside from this single issue, the Pencil is a great adjunct to your iPad Pro. Charging is remarkably fast, and can be done directly from your iPad Pro. Easily create drawings, sketches, hand written notes, and so much more with incredible detail. The Pencil feels natural in the hand. The current $99 price tag is slightly high, but all-in-all, well worth the price.

Best stylus, sorry....PENCIL available
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The touch and feel of this pencil is so much closer to a real writing instrument that it's hard to say that anything else comes close. The shading (by using the side of the pencil) is really cool. Very accurate and fast, and the response on the screen is good. I'd advise a screen protector even though this doesn't seem to mark up the glass of the iPad. The only drawback I see is the way you charge it, which puts it at risk for breaking (you take the cap off and plug into a lightning port). Also, the cap can be easily lost, but I have found a cap-keeper online for about $8 that saves me this trouble.

iPad Pen
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this pen for my iPad. It is the best thing that companies do is too have a pen that you can use on your tablets or iPad's. My fingers always hits the wrong letter or what ever but using a pen is the best thing for me. Plus you just plug it into your iPad to charge it. I love it. It is worth the price.

Better than I imagined
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been wanting one of these for a very long time but struggled to justify it. I have already done so many big things to increase my productivity when it comes to photo editing, graphic design and taking notes during meetings that I wish I hadn't put it off. The quality of the connection is great, it is easy to connect and pair with a device, it holds a charge for what seems like forever and it's touch sensitivity is so much better than that of my Wacom tablet.

Great for college students
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased an iPad Pro and the Apple Pencil. These have been the best way for me to take notes in class and record lectures. It also helps me when it’s time for exams. I use this as my portable white board. It’s also great to use with OneNote, you can download your PowerPoints from lecture and as the teacher goes through them, you can follow along and write notes With the pencil. It’s not bulky either like some of the other stylus.

Good add on to a great device
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for an apple pen and found it on sale at Best Buy for $89.00 which I felt was a bit high. I started looking online at other retailers, but most was at retail price. I went online and found an open box item for about $25.00 less than apple retail price on Best Buy.com. The pen arrives in a timely manner and looks brand new in the retail box. The pen writes well and you can download apps that supports the pen . I do feel the retail price is a bit costly at $100.00 for a smart pen, but I also think it’s a great value if you can find for less.

Feels like a pencil and writes like one too!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Apple Pencil is balanced, sleek and easy to hold. It writes like a pencil and does much more. I can change writing tips, colors, and contours of what I write easily. The iPad Pro surface is highly responsive to the pencil tip and amazingly precise. The only awkward aspect of this pencil is having to charge it on the iPad. It protrudes quite a bit and could accidentally be damaged. Reminds me of sticking a pencil in your ear or something.
